I have had the laptop for a few days, and I'm most unhappy with the laptop. It is slow to start up, unresponsive when typing etc. The whole performance in general is poor, and worse than my old ACER laptop that I have replaced! A new £550 laptop should not perform like this.

as a first time customer I ordered a laptop paid for next day delivery had to follow up every day to see where it was after a few days they told me for some reason it still hasn't been dispatched. in the end I gave up as it was a gift and I needed it sooner rather than later. although the guy on the phone was nice enough he had no idea what was on about and told me the same thing each day. all in all unhappy wont buy from here again

Brought a GL62 6QD, within 2 months it had to go in for repair with a faulty operating system. And now the fan is no longer working properly. All this within 6 months of owning the laptop. Less than impressed

Probably the worse online business I have ever dealt with. After I notified of them of faults with a PC I bought they told me to contact the manufacturer. Over a 14 week period I sent 4 emails and 2 letters by recorded post and all were ignored. Even though the PC was still in warranty they refused to have anything to do with it. I sincerely hope that you dont have to contact them regarding a faulty item. You have my sympathy if you do.

Started up the laptop and progressed with instillation. Left it on over night to update and this morning it was stuck at the first. It seems to be stuck in a loop at the boot screen and just keeps resetting.

Warning to those who have purchased a laptop being advertised as having an "exclusive upgraded". I placed an order for an MSI Leopard Pro which had an exclusive upgrade of 16GB from 8GB and paid extra for Saturday delivery to ensure I was at home to receive it. The laptop arrived on the date expected. When starting the laptop up for the first time I was unable to connect to the Wi-Fi in my flat, after checking device manager I noticed the Wi-Fi adapter would crash which forced me to re-install the driver by downloading it to another device. I didn’t see this as much of an issue even though it clearly stated on my invoice that the product would come with a “memory upgrade and testing”, so I proceeded to fix it and carry on with my initial checks on the laptop. I went on to check the system information and to my surprise found the laptop showing only 8GB of installed RAM instead of 16GB. I immediately attempted to call Saveonlaptops but was unable to get through as it was the weekend, so I sent an email instead. Knowing it was a bank holiday weekend I gave a few days for a response before emailing again, this time I received a response. The reply was as follows: “I have checked our records and I can see that your unit was upgraded with the necessary RAM before it was despatched to you. It is possible that the RAM has come unseated in transit. Would it be possible, if you feel confident to do so, for you to open the service hatch on the base of the unit and check that the RAM is seated correctly. If you are not confident to do this, please let me know and I can advise you further on how to return the unit to us for one of our engineers to do it.” I considered the suggestion of checking if the RAM had been dislodged but this would have required me to remove the shell from the bottom of the laptop and would probably have made my warranty void. After the experience I’ve had, I am certain Saveonlaptops would have rejected responsibility had I done this and would have refused to repair the laptop. Thus, I requested a return via the website which was simple enough. Having chased up the company a few times I was told the item had been with an engineer and that it had now been upgraded to the correct RAM with no further information. I went to ask for further details and was told the following: “I have just spoke to my engineer regarding your unit. He did say this was not opened previously & the ram was missing and not put in to the unit so please accept our apologies regarding this. The engineer has put the ram in to the unit & the unit has been factory reset. There should be no issues with your item once you receive this.” I was left feeling frustrated as I was sold a product that had been advertised as upgraded and tested when in fact neither had taken place. Had I not checked the system information and blindly trusted the seller I would have oblivious to the fact the RAM was missing. I believe had the product been tested both the issue with the Wi-Fi adapter and missing RAM would have been picked up. For the return, I’d requested weekend delivery again as I had paid for it previously. I was told that it will be sent as requested as a courtesy. Having been told the laptop would be arriving on a Saturday I went to work as I would normally the next day (Friday) only to find an email from the Saveonlaptops customer service representative who had previously confirmed Saturday delivery now telling me it will be delivered on Monday. A few minutes prior to this I received an email and text message from DPD stating that my laptop was out for delivery for today (Friday). After receiving the email I again asked the same customer service representative what the actual delivery date was and was told it was in fact Friday which meant I had to leave work early to receive the item between 3:45pm – 4:45pm. After receiving the delivery, I started the laptop up this time to find that a check and repair was required on the C: drive (SSD). After doing this I found that again the Wi-Fi adapter was corrupted and needed to be re-installed but the RAM was upgraded successfully. I informed the Sales Manager of the case and the most recent issues as I was disappointed with what had happened. To this date, not only have I not been refunded the delivery charges (despite being told I would by the customer service representative) I have now been told by the sales manager that “as per our terms and conditions of sale we do not offer compensation for consequential loss”. I have now gone on to leave a review in case this has happened to anyone else. Also, if you have ever purchased an “exclusive upgrade” laptop from the seller then make sure you check your laptops/PC’s System Information to ensure you have received the upgrade you paid for. I am concerned for the number of customers who may have purchased an upgrade and have been sent the wrong item without their knowledge.

I was ordering a laptop on this website and when I wanted to pay for it the system sad that there was an error and my payment didn't go tru...I have chosen the amazon payment what didn't work..later I've got 5 email that I have initaited payments. I didn't know what's going on, I tried to speak to amazon but they couldn't help me eather, so I decided to call  save on laptops custumer service...the customer "care" was talking to me in a very arrogant style all the way thru, and told me that it's not their problem that my payment didn't go thru and if I don't want to pay my initial payments via amazon I have write an email to them and ask to cancell every single initial payment what I had.. I think that it's ridiculous!!! Why I have to sort it out if it's wasn't my fold??! He sad if I'm not doing it they will charge the amount what I have to pay but won't get the laptop because he can't see my order in the system!!! What kind of customer service is this????!! And he was talking to me like very condescend style + threaten me that he' going to hang up if I try to shout! I didn't shout.. I was very disapointed because I wanted to buy something, spend my money at you and I got no laptop, an arrogant discusting customer sercvice crew + "sort out your prolem for yourself if you don't want to pay for nothing" Horrible company and customer service!!!!

I ordered a new laptop. it arrived in an as used condition with items missing. Currently attempting to sort out the issue but the returns department seems very slow. I will update this review should the issue be resolved. Also when reviewing the company on the link via the email it is different review link to this site. BE VERY WEARY!

Ordered and paid for a new laptop not very happy when I opened the package to find a distinctly used looking laptop covered in greasy fingerprints. Had to return at own cost and awaiting refund. Would advise everyone to avoid these rip off merchants.

Miss soled a laptop due to incorrect specifications on website, whole experience of returning and receiving money is disastrous. They only communicate via email normally taking 24 hours to respond if they bother to respond, though they don’t work weekends or bank holidays so sometimes take a lot longer. So far trying to get money back from them after they admit to a mistake takes around 4 weeks.

They took 25% out of my money when I returned the laptop as faulty and they claimed it wasn't. Despite my please they didn't do a full refund so I didn't get the laptop and also lost 25%, so be careful before buying. Another worst thing is that when they want to get money from you (sales, pre-sales) they are available on phone, but for returns it is only via email, so make it slower and painful.

Sent back unopened, tried to claim it hadn't arrived then said 3 days after it did. Finally admitted it had arrived on the correct day. Still awaiting refund 10 days later due to "short staffing". Manager apparently cannot use a phone - was told this! Email team being deliberately evasive and my account still shows item not received back. Not sure I'll get a refund without involving trading standards

The laptop was advertised the laptop with 2 years warranty. Upon registering the warranty found it had only one year. I emailed with; When I registered the warranty for this laptop it only came up as 1 year. On the sales invoice it states 2 years. I emailed MSI, they state I should have a warranty extension certificate, this was not with the laptop. Could you send me the certificate or code for the warranty extension, thanks? Otherwise very happy with my purchase and your service. Save on Laptops replied Hello Gary, Thank you for your email, Unfortunately you only seem to have the 1 year Manufacturers warranty, Apologises for the inconvenience. Kind Regards, Elaine Not a company to be trusted.
