The email asking for feedback was the first one I got from you since the order. My item has not arrived yet and the tracking number I got was wrong, showing my item has been delivered to someone in Edinburgh. I wrote you an email yesterday and am waiting for the answer and explanation..

After spending some time researching laptops, I decided to buy the Lenovo Yoga 2 11. As a naturally cautious buyer, I was planning to purchase the standard model from John Lewis with their excellent 3 year warranty at around £400. I came across save on laptops, to find that they were selling an improved model (at JL for £450) for £380 (£390 with delivery + card fees(?)). I was concerned that they might have the wrong specs on their website, so I e-mailed and was reassured, that it was indeed the improved specs. I then put in an order and they immediately took money from my account. The following day, they contacted me via e mail to inform me there was a problem with the order. When I called them, I was told that it was just a routine security enquiry and that the order would be processed. I received a further e-mail later that day. When I contacted them, they informed me that the product was out of stock, but would be back in 4 working days, I was offered the option to cancel for a full refund. That evening I checked to see if they were still listing stock. They had the Lenovo yoga 2 11, with the same specs / catalogue and product code, more than 20 available, but now at an increased price of £430. My husband called the following morning and was told that they were in stock. When I called them, they initially tried to fob me off, with the out of stock story, but when I pressed, they told me that they had stock, but could not sell it to me at the price that they had already taken from my account. They told me that this is not the first time this situation had occurred.

After placing an order for a new laptop everything went smoothly. The same day I received notification that it had been despatched and I would receive within four days. I gave a little leeway due to the weekend but on the sixth day I contacted them only to be told that the laptop had never been despatched and was actually out of stock, web site had said stock level was 20+. Why was I not told or contacted ? Received a short apology and told money would be credited within 48 hours having had it for over a week. what system/procedure allows this to happen..

Dear Customer, After reading your review and looking through your order with ourselves. We would like to apologise. It seems there was a stock count error in our external warehouse and the unit you ordered is obsolete. Due to the stock count error this is the reason it showed in stock via our website. With the dispatch email being sent in error this caused the order to not have flagged up on our side and was missed. We are looking at ways to improve are stock takes in order to ensure this does not happen in the future. I can see that you have placed another order with ourselves which we are grateful for. As a gesture of good will I will be refunding the delivery charge and also forwarding your tracking details via email. Once again I do apologise for the inconvenience this has caused. By completing this review you in turn are helping ourselves to help train our staff and help provide a more detailed customer service. Kind Regards,

This laptop says on your page that it has a 3D ready screen. I have contacted the customer service and they say it is an overview for the range in general and that this laptop does not have that!! At NO point on the page does it state this!! The Overview of the range simply says the G750 has a 3D ready screen. This is clearly misleading and as a result miss-selling the product. The laptop itself (ignoring the lack of the advertised 3D-screen) is good. It did crash every time you exit a game when it came out of the box and needed to update the BIOS for the video card but after that it is fine. It is getting a 1 star rating due to the wrongly advertised feature of the screen and the service, the way this was dealt with once I have brought up the problem with them. When the website you are buying from clearly says the laptop your buying is 3D ready you expect it to be 3D ready!!

Dear Customer, The product was returned under DSR and was to be returned in 'As New' condition (meaning all user accounts should have been removed). Unfortunately, this was not the case when we received the laptop and DSR was thus rejected. If you have any further queries/questions with regard to the case please do not hesitate to contact us on 0121 202 0030 (Option 2). Regards, Returns Team

Never, ever again. The long and short of it - I was told my N550LF had a blu-ray drive - it turns out it doesn't. They mis-sold the item and now are flat out refusing to give me a refund - almost certainly breaking the law, but what do they care? Truly a disgraceful company.

Totally unsatisfied with their support..They call them retailer? bought Asus N550LF and found that the Fan just continuously running and then I sent them to look at it. After they tested it then they saying that the Laptop is NOT FAULTY and now I need to pay 42+20+VAT After hearing it I got shock and then quickly went to check the TandC and there is nothing saying about Stupid ENGINEERING FEE, I then mailed to Head manager and he said its not on the TandC and he saying that if I want refund then they will take -25% from it. then I replied Why should I pay for the stupid engineer fee if its not on the TandC! Then he said instead of -25% from refund we r just asking 42+20+VAT=74pound to pay you. Otherwise they will not sent the item back to me! I then replied tnx a lot for giving the experience I appreciate. So Be WARNED!! if you love LAPTOPS you Better buy it from somewhere else but stay away from "SAVEON" LAPTOP! They use their cheap trick to take money from you!

Dear Sir, I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the response you have received regarding your not faulty item. Unfortunately as per the terms and conditions you agreed to when you created your RMA, when an item is found to be not faulty you do incur engineer and transportation costs. The terms and conditions are there and you would not have been able to create your RMA as explained unless you agreed to them. At no point have we stated that this is not included in the terms and conditions of creating an RMA. Kind Regards Save On Team

The product ordered stated that it came with a 3 year warranty. It did not. When I contacted customer services they made me purchase the 3 year warranty and said I have to claim it back from the manufacturer. This is not what it said in the item description when I bought it and I would not have done so if I had know this. I had to spend lots of time trying to get this sorted out and I now have to wait 30 days to claim it back.

I never received the laptop in spite of the call center people at save on laptop informed me that the courier were on their way for delivery. After a long wait no courier turned up. The next day I was informed that there was no stock and it will take another 14 days to deliver. Asked the order to be cancelled and the reply was it will take 48 hours to refund my money. On top of it I was sent an email for a review asking about their service!!!

I ordered my laptop online and due to the fact that it was impossible to change my invoice address online (from an order over 5 years ago) the order wasn't processed and I was advised to call you. I did so and a gentlemen processed the order and manually changed my invoice address. Or so I thought. I opted to use the collect plus service as I would be at work. The morning that the laptop was arriving at the location I was notified by DPD what time it would arrived. I popped in after work to collect it. The shop owner where the laptop was being delivered said he couldn't accept it as it wasn't in his system. I called save on laptops (SOL) to explain my situation and SOL just instantly referred me to collect plus. I spent a long time on the phone to them and they could not locate my order. They mentioned that for this location it should be delivered via Yodel, not DPD. I called DPD to re arrange the delivery for the following morning (having to pay £5 as I was going away that afternoon and wanted the product for then). Although briefing the shop to accept the order the DPD driver wouldn't release it due to insurance issues. I called SOL immediately to lodge my concern. The lady I spoke to could only offer me an apology which was not very genuine. I asked whether there would be any form of compensation, she said no, this was a one off mistake and company policy didn't account for compensation. I expressed that I couldn't believe that in a competitive industry like this no extra provision would be made. I asked if there was a duty manager I could speak to, there wasn't. I then asked if somebody could call me back to discuss the matter. The lady then said, 'They can but they'll only tell you what I've just told you'. Appalled with the lack of customer service I decided there and then to cancel the order. During the extensive time spent on the phone to DPD, Collect plus and save on lap tops, the former two were extremely helpful in trying to solve the problem. Speaking with SOL, they were far from constructive. I dare say that if you could change your invoice address online this ordeal wouldn't have taken place. However, it did, and even an employee manually changing it, which evidently didn't occur as all the following confirmations still had my previous address on, still didn't happen. The customer service after this was really quite poor. This is the first ever review I have left.

The laptop I ordered clearly stated that it came with a 3 Year manufacturers warranty, hover it did not. When I contacted Save on Laptops they said it was a mistake and it should have said I had to purchase the warranty separately and claim the cost back from Lenovo. This is blatant mis-selling and I am extremity unhappy about it. They have not been helpful at all in trying to rectify their mistake. I will take it up with Trading Standards. I would not buy from them again.

The laptop I ordered never arrived because it was damaged in transit. I only discovered this when I tracked my order as I hadn't been notified of anything. I had to make several phone calls to find out where the goods were and what would happen next. I finally spoke to your customer service team (??) who informed me that nothing could done until the laptop was received back which could take up to a week. I expressed my dismay and was smugly informed it was in the small print on your web site, which made me feel so much better. So the bottom line is do to no fault of mine I have no laptop, YOU have my money and nothing will happen for up to a week. I AM DISGUSTED by your treatment of me and the attitude of the fool I spoke to in your employ. I shall be expecting a full refund from you and will never use your services again. I use a number of online outlets to purchase hardware and your service is without the doubt THE WORST. Steve Collins

Dispatch on order delayed. Rang up said dispatch would be that afternoon - didn't happen. Rang up next day and found out delay in dispatch due to difficulties communicating with other warehouse. (Don't you think that it may be an idea to inform customers via e-mail when there is a delay of this sort?). Dispatch promised that evening with delivery the next day (a Saturday). My girlfriend cancelled plans and waited in for the delivery - didn't come. Turns out that the laptop hadn't actually been dispatched at all. It was finally dispatched on the Monday afternoon. Customer services are polite, but promises aren't kept and significant inconvenience has been caused. I'll settle for rude customer services as long as they achieve what is required. To sum up - This is the worst experience of buying online that I have had in years and I shop online alot. AVOID.

I purchased a ASUS notebook to take on my travels and all it has done has given me grief since I purchased it. The SD card reader stopped working within 3 weeks, I have purchased 3 readers since and probably will need another one soon. 'Word' is corrupt and constantly crashes, loses my documents and the thesaurus function does not work which I use a lot. The on and off button also does not work - terrible product and would very much welcome for this to be remedied. I was given a help desk email and got a gibberish response in a mix of Russian and English as I was in Kyrgyzstan when I sent the email. Sorry, but after care support was terrible! My email is Bernadette_anderson1@yahoo.co.uk, I would welcome a response to this review.

I bought a laptop that was dead on arrival. Rather than accept a return Save On Laptops insisted that I organise a replacement from the manufacturer which they would then refund me for. I had conversations in which I was stonewalled, lied to and patronised. (With the notable exeption of one member of staff who did what she could to move things on). After 78 emails, numerous phone calls, the involvement of organisations in Birmingham, London, Germany, Bratislava and two courier companies, I received a refund. I paid for the laptop on 10 January 2014. I received the refund on 2 April 2014. customer service is only as good as it's success in handling problems. If the starting point is that of contempt for the customer, then success will not be forthcoming. I will leave it to the reader to ascertain whether I shall be using Save on Laptops (trading name of Box Limited, Birmingham) again. L Harding 25 April 2014.
