Paid extra for two day delivery, product came 10 days later. When talking to customer service they were rude and unhelpful, I was told I hadn't paid for my product and then after checking my account Statement to be sure I had, customer service said they were looking at the wrong account. No apologies, no cohesion with the delivery company whatsoever so unable to arrange alternate drop off arrangements if I was not home, after a failed delivery 9 days after purchase. I took the afternoon off work to recieve the delivery. Joke of a service. Was starting to worry this site was some sort of fraud money scamming site. Was not re imbursed the money for speedy delivery and when asking about it was told there was nothing that could be done. Unsure why there is a customer service line at all.

my parcel is lost in a DPD sorting office and I can't get a refund until this problem is solved - I'm now without a Christmas present for my husband!!!

Ordered at about 5pm tuesday night, paid £10 extra for next day delivery as I need it ASAP. Its now Thursday night, still hasn't arrived and I cant even phone up to ask about it as they close at 6pm. Also no confirmation emails, and no tracking number given. Leaving me very stressed out!

Would love to leave feedback - but as the laptop has failed to arrive yet its difficult to judge - DPD are useless!!

Never received the laptop. Contacted the company only to be told they couldn't do anything about it until they had raised the issue with the courier. Asked to cancel the order and have my money refunded, told nothing could be done until the investigation was completed. Wouldn't use this company again.

Hi there, Apologies for any inconvenience caused. However, we must allow the courier to complete their investigation as until they have done so we do not know where the goods are which could well be within reach of yourself. -Returns Team

The laptop arrived on schedule. Unfortunately it is faulty and the battery will not charge at all rendering it useless. I am currently following the procedure for returns which turns out to be complicated and time consuming. And seems to require me to return the item in superior packaging to that which it was delivered in and at my own cost! I wish that I had bought from a shop where this matter could have been dealt with quickly and my money properly refunded.

Hi there, Apologies for any inconvenience caused. However, we do not require any additional packaging. Our email with packaging instructions is in the case that the original packaging is not available as stated. -Returns Team

Ordered Monday 10th November and paid extra for next day delivery. Invoice showed courier as DPD and said they would contact me by phone advising delivery time slot. Took Tuesday 11th off work to accept delivery. No phone call or delivery as promised. Contacted your office on Wednesday 12th who said they would investigate and ring back within an hour. No call back. Rang again and told you were still investigating. Another day off work. Late afternoon on Wednesday your office rang saying item returned to you by courier on Tuesday as package damaged and delay sending a replacement due to your quality control procedure. Told item had originally been sent by Parcelfarce not DPD and another could be despatched on Wednesday. Problem was that Parcelfarce don't give a delivery time slot so I would have had to take a 3rd day off work for untimed delivery on Thursday. In view of this shambles, I cancelled the order.

I ordered a laptop and HDMI cable, simple eh? No. My address was entered as a Northern Ireland as that is where I live. Before submitting the order was not made aware of any additional delivery charge. Got an email a few hours later asking to make full or partial payment on my order so I queried it and was told I had to pay £9.95 for this delivery. I reluctantly paid it as I already just spent over £400 with them. About a week later I had not even received a despatch email, again I emailed them and was told that they were in the middle of a transition and there were "teething problems" but it would be despatched today (which is was, hooray) and that my delivery charge would be refunded. As I am a University student I was delighted to get nearly £10 back. Nine days later it is now and no refund shown in my account. Not best pleased with the service at all. Would never recommend them.

Dear Customer, After reading your review and looking through your order with ourselves. We would like to apologise. There is no excuse for your order not to be delivered within the time frame given. Looking through this I see you selected Free delivery. Unfortunately Northern Ireland is not covered under free delivery and is £9.95. We did explain this via email that this needed to be paid prior to dispatch of the unit. Again this no excuse as your order was dispatched late. This is due to a new shipping system we have in place and we did experience “teething problems” as mentioned in the email sent to you. I can confirm a refund for delivery was processed on the 13th November 2014 and should now be showing in your account. Once again we do apologise for the inconvenience this has caused. Bought an £800 laptop. Straight out of the box it had dead pixels on the screen. Contacted them to discuss the issue and got an email reply which was a simple copy and paste job of their terms and conditions and which didn’t even address the nature of my query. Basically, I have a Full HD laptop screen which has dead pixels on it like a sore thumb, but because the number of dead pixels is below the threshold stated in their terms it is deemed 'acceptable'. Sorry, it is not acceptable. I’ve owned dozens of LCD screen devices in the past and this is the first time ever that I’ve experienced dead pixels. I didn't even know what they were before and had to Google it to find out. It’s also the first time that I’ve ever used Save On Laptops. They seem to be perfectly at ease selling sub-standard products. My advice to others is that if you care about the pixels on your screen then go with a company who offers a ‘dead pixel guarantee’ - even if you have to pay a bit extra for it. I went with Save On Laptops because they were the cheapest. Silly me eh ...

Dear Customer, As you only previously advised of 'one dead pixel' you were informed accordingly in line with the Gigabyte's pixel policy. If you are now claiming that there is more than the previously advised one dead pixel, please could you provide a photograph of the dead pixels via email to returns@box.co.uk. - Returns Dept.

Dear Customer, Thank you for your review. After looking through your order and looking in to the tracking I can see they attempted delivery twice. However no one was home to accept delivery. As the courier only attempts twice for delivery this was returned back to the warehouse. I can confirm this has been refunded in full back to you. I will be looking in to this further to investigate why delivery did not take place on the correct day. I do apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The laptops and delivery was fine, however, a simple request to correct the invoice details has resulted in me leaving negative feedback. If it ever see's the light of day!! Despite the mistake being theirs Save on Laptops are just trotting out various excuses rather than trying to help. No help whatsoever is being given. Rubbish doesn't come close.

Dear Customer, Thank you for your review. After looking through your order and emails, I can see you have requested for a change of address and name on your invoice after a time period of 30days. However this is not possible. You see when you opted to pay via PayPal you agreed to have the order shipped to your confirmed PayPal address. The confirmed PayPal information is used to create an account with ourselves using your payment details. Prior to the dispatch we did email you confirming your order, this would have stated your company name and address in the invoice address section on the email. Further to that once the order had been dispatched it mentioned the details further and again in feedback on your order emails which were sent. You would have needed to notify us before the order had been dispatched that you wished for any details to be changed. We were only notified 32 days later that you wished to change your address from your company name to your personal name. Again unfortunately we are not able to do this. I do apologise for any inconvenience this has caused. Save On Laptops Sales Team

Was contacted by rude staff who theatened to cancel order if I didnt pay for delivery straight away, on a £900 laptop. Also had to pay a fee for using a credit card, a must now adays when dealing with fly by night internet retailers. avoid if possible

Dear Customer, Thank you for your review. I would like to explain that the delivery location you have selected is an off shore location therefore a Non-UK Main Land delivery charge would need to be applied £9.95. This is clearly stated on our website and in our terms and conditions. Regarding the Member of staff who threatened to have your order cancelled. I do apologise that you felt it was a threat. If we do not have the correct postage or if a customer does not pay the correct postage we have no choice but to cancel the order as the correct delivery method has not been chosen. Regarding the surcharge that is applied for credit cards, we only charge what the bank charges ourselves this is only to absorb the costs due to our low prices. If we were not to charge a surcharge we would be making a loss. We do offer the option to pay via debit card as there is no charge on that. Once again I do apologise for any inconvenience this has caused. Kind Regards, Save On Laptops Sales Team

Bought the laptop, very quick process. The laptop(Lenovo-B50) with ONLY 2 tabs open in a browser and no other software started, couldn't handle and became very slow.I asked for RMA and procedure for return. RMA received and Saveonlaptop advised me that they will arrange collection with the same courier. They kept lying 3 times about their failing to notify the courier, and never was contacted by any courier. I keep struggling to return the laptop and have my refund. My conclusions-1. Lenovo B-50 with celeron is not a choice even if your using only word and calculator; and 2. Not at all a reliable seller-not reliable customer service when return, and lying stuff at customer support. My poorest choice ever- laptop and seller-in my online shopping activity. Very bitter experience.

Cannot provide feebback sorry as I have yet to receive my laptop. DPD texted the delivery slot the first day 2 mins before it, as I was returning from a 7am school run, then the second day texted at a similar time AFTER the delivery slot had begun. No tracking number was left. I then had to call a premium rate number which did not give me an alternative option other than to pick up myself from the other side of town, AFTER having to track down the number ( that the driver is apparently not obliged to provide) I called to find out where the depot is as there is no detail on the piece of paper put through my letterbox. DPD also have the incorrect postcode for me so it's lucky the laptop even managed to get this far. I was told it's open til "about 7pm." so hopefully the guestimate will be correct and I won't have a wasted journey after work. I was passed to a manager by a lady who was very apologetic. Unfortunately Matt had no idea how the system had "broken down" but was no apologetic, offered no alternative to me having to drive 10 miles to get it, and referred me to another premium rate telephone number. I would neither use nor recommend saveonlatops again, not because of the products as I still have no idea what they;re like, but because they use DPD, and employ people who don;t go out of their way to help customers who have been inconvienenced by their poor and complicated service that I have experienced. Hope the feedback helps. It will possibly take a huge order of high value to make a different but it's clear that my custom was not important.
