“We decided to change our car just as lockdown was approaching; the deal was completed and car ordered. Roger was very knowledgeable and allowed us as much time as we needed to make our decision. Due to lockdown we had to wait a little longer for our new car, however this was totally understandable. Having now got the car we know the decision was the right one. Our thanks go to Roger and his colleagues .”

“Very professional in all areas except glitch we experienced in the payment of funds from our bank to yours. Through no fault of our own, it took much longer to get the funds through than it should have done and thus rather took the gloss off the transaction. However, although this is my fourth Kia C'eed, it was our first experience of buying from S G Petch and we were totally satisfied with Sales Manager's handling of our sale. I know I shall have years of pleasure in driving my new car.”

“Due to current circumstances surrounding the Covid 19 pandemic the hand over was rushed, as the garage had to close that day (24/03/20). Unfortunately they were unable to wash, or clean the car, inside or out, prior to handover, nor was the salesman able to run through the upgrades made to the new Juke, which from previous experience I know is normal practice. However, I was trading in a Juke, so was familiar with the vehicle & am able to check on any upgrades in the handbook provided. Otherwise Robert, was extremely helpful & told me that if I had any queries/problems he could be contacted on his mobile for advice/help. My overall experience was pleasant & stress free.”

“Poor handover when i called to pick up my new car 10-30 time to pick up approx 2pm when I collected car was not happy at all.”

“The whole experience was very good and smooth, thanks chiefly to Steven Pullen. Sadly he wasn't at work when we physically took ownership of the car, and there was additional insurance we were supposed to be taking out, but nobody ever contacted us over that.”

“I have to say Tony H on the sales side was great everything was done right then it went to the admin side and it just went down hill from there and has caused me no end of problems . I even phoned and complaned as still not had feed back from them. It started when i got my V5 with the wrong address on then Hyundai Finance sent documents with the wrong Reg on for a diffrent car witch had been sent by Petch's. This is all still going on.”

“This is my second new CX-5 car from SG Petch in Durham. Very happy with salesman Alan Copeland's attention during the whole process on both occasions - I like his straight-talking no-nonsense approach. The car was delivered on time and Alan took time to e plain the controls different to my last CX-5. Servicing: I signed up with SG Petch service club - this spreads the cost of servicing with a monthly charge and includes all necessary service parts and labour. There's also a 10% discount on any accessories and access to lots of discounts from high street retailers. All in all - pretty well pleased (4 stars - because nobody is perfect😉).”

“Andy was great, very helpful, knowledgeable and not too pushy. Only marked it as a 4 and not a 5 because: We weren’t offered a test drive. We haven’t received details of the mini break we chose as our option on the promotional offer that was running for new car purchases that weekend It wasn’t really explained how the 5 free Valets worked,I’m assuming a valet is carried out when the car receives its 5 free services? Car is great, a little slow to accelerate compared to my previous car which was a Seat Ibiza but I assume it’s just how it is, as opposed to there being a problem. Overall tho happy with the service and the car.”

“I recently purchased a car from this dealership, which is exactly what I was looking for, and at a competitive price. Because email responses from them were very slow (several days) to any questions I had before and after collecting the vehicle, I will telephone in the future. The car salesperson I dealt with was friendly and helpful, as was the telephone receptionist on the occasion when I needed a quick answer and the original car salesperson was unavailable.”

“The sales man who helped me to buy my car was very attentive and I could not fault his professionalism. He helped me get the car I wanted in my budget and supported me through the sale and any questions were answered which I needed the answer too. Andy is fab and is great at his job couldn’t fault the service from Andy. Thank you”
