“My present experiences with Shackleton are nothing but exemplary. The latest buy (Ross vest) is simply great, exellent and thought out design and craftmanship, easy on par with the likes Moorer vests only for better price and with smarter looks. Great comms with customers and helpful, forthcoming approach, fast actions like reacting to courier blunders. Quite commendable. Sizing is now spot on, a nice and welcomesuprise after former misfits with their knitwear - notorious Nimrod sweater, third time lucky:-) This time no fuss import. What's more to ask?”

“I've been a supporter of Shackleton apparel for more than a decade, and indeed, my great-great grandfather outfitted the Boss himself. Your knitwear is exquisite quality, as fine a fit for the city as it is ready for life out on the land and ice here in our Arctic home in Iqaluit, Nunavut. Highly recommended.”

“Really excellent products. I'm sure they can be used on an expedition, but they are also just really well-made to wear round town. Also, they have clearly been carefully designed with an empahsis on making it easy for the wearer to use them.”

“We purchased base layers for a hiking trip to iceland and they have proven to be worth every penny we spent. They’re light, breathable, soft but at the same time incredibly warm in a strong cold wind and not stifling at all when the sun comes out. Really good gear!”

“In the lead up to a 2023 winter assignment in Ukraine and having been uncomfortable there the previous winter with the freeze thaw freeze nature of the weather I decided to invest in a Haakon parka. I could tell on opening the box that it was a cut above any of the numerous winter coats I had worn over the years. It kept me warm during the cold snaps and dry on the days snow and ice gave way to rain. I cannot rate it highly enough, to steal part of a famous advertising slogan. “ it did exactly what he said on the box.”

“I recently purchased two Shackleton jackets for a sailing trip to the Arctic. I am extremely impressed with the quality and functionality of both items. The jackets I bought were the Rothera hooded down jacket and the Ross down gilet. The jackets are exceptionally well made and represent very good value for money. They were both very warm with plenty of storage and I particularly liked the chest pockets which I found useful for hikes and excursions. I originally purchased a few options with an intention to return those sizes and colours that didn't work for me and keep those that did. This process was very smooth and I would do the same again in the future. I will definitely be looking to purchase more items from Shackleton in the future.”
