“Bought in store - very friendly staff. The cut of the gilet is terrific - fitted but not too tight. The hand warming pockets are top notch too. Wish I had picked up the Shackleton moleskine too- can't see it online!”

“I have been lucky enough to recently acquire 2 Shackleton jackets (a Haakon and a Rothera) - the quality and design is fantastic and the customer service outstanding. “The gillet is really nicely made, as you’d expect at this price point. It’s warm enough, but not warm?!?! There are a few bits I’d tweak… Shackleton should have more confidence in the branding and not feel the need to emblazon the piece with the name/stories. The hemming and the ‘story’ labels are a bit much. It’s already a nice garment, it doesn’t need the extra waffle…”

“I had the Haakon Parka. I very much appreciate the firm fabric and the down filling. I little bit annyoing is the fact that the hook and loop fastener is so adhesive that it immediately sticks to other garments like a pullover when you put the parka on.”
