“I stumbled across Shackleton in my search for a perfect winter jacket and wow did I make the right choice. The rothera jacket is absolutely perfect, I own Canada goose, nobis, north face and few others. This jacket is on par if not better than those brands when comparing quality of materials, warmth is not even a question aswell. This is an amazing jacket for the cost, highly recommended.”

“A Christmas present for my husband who likes to keep his gear for 20 years plus, and is reluctant and suspicious of clothing that is new! He wore it on boxing day! Loved it! Worth every penny!”

“The jacket I bought is a very good but has a very small issue that needs to be fixed like the size of the arm is over size a bit and the finishing of the jacket needs to be looked at because there is some threads I had to cut.”

“Didn't buy the jacket to do any expeditions, just to stand and watch my grandson play football on a cold, wet and windy football field in the middle of nowhere. I can honestly say that it works a treat, all the other spectators shivering away and complaining about how cold it is and there's me snug as a bug! Just can't wait for the snowy blizzards to arrive.”

“I like my Shackleton Haakon. It's not as warm as the Arctic Canada Goose I had, (and sold), but therefore more versatile when conditions aren't massively sub-zero. I can always wear my Ross gilet underneath if the extra insulation is needed. The pit zips are a great feature, too. Pride of ownership was enhanced when I saw them on the BBC being worn by the pole to pole electric car expedition.”
