“The quality of the products are second to none. I'm extremely impressed with my new Rothera hooded down jacket. My only grumble is I paid £525 to preorder it and I looked in the shop its now £450. £75 difference in just a few weeks peeved me abit. Regards Stuart Allward”

“The blue Ronne jacket is an exquisite piece of clothing. Every detail is spot on and the cut and shape make for a superb fit and the ultimate in comfort. It's the statement piece I hoped for, and to a degree expected, so I'm absolutely delighted to have it ready for the winters ahead.”

“The Jacket looked very good quality however the sizing didn't seem correct. I ordered a small which would be my size from any other vendor if not Medium, but the jacket was far too big, so returned the item. Again no complaints regarding the quality of the product itself,”

“I am very pleased with my Expedition Jacket - superb quality and fit (I had to change an 'M' for an 'S' as the are very generous) I love the depth of the black colour. The hood is well designed - which is not always the case with jackets like this. Just the right amount of pockets too. I feel well protected while wearing it and it is very stylish and not d fashionable. Fashion comes and goes but style is eternal! Thank you Shackleton!”

“Jacket is warm, also waterproof ( rained and did not soak through) Recently bought Hercules jacket. Which at £395 is expensive for a light down jacket. Disappointed with logo, Should be embroider for the money. Also zip feels weak compared to other jackets. I do love the length over the waist and also sleevelength is very good. All in all I’m pleased although feel it is expensive for what it is.”

We have used a transfer logo as it’s much lighter than other alternatives, with the idea of keeping weight down in every component of the jacket for expeditions where weight matters. “Ordered a coat and sweater which were sent fairly quickly. Both had to be returned. When I couldn’t print a free return label I was advised the postage fee would be refunded with the item cost which was a nice touch. Received phone updates with the order. Clothing is good quality and well made.”
