“The heritage and story of Shackleton was fascinating. I’d recently seen the story on sky TV and looked into it further and came across the clothing brand. Based on testimonies and quality of garments I knew it was a quality brand.”

“AS a family we all now have a selection of Shackleton jerseys and wooly hats. They are undoubtably the best. You really do get what you pay for. Used in well below zero in the French Alps (those were the days) and just everyday in the UK. Look good, keep their shape and always feel comfortable. Who needs more?”

“I ordered a sweater. It didn’t come. I sent an email asking where it was. Got.a reply saying it had been ‘lost in transit’ and they were going to ‘make a claim’. Offered me another pullover. I said ‘No’ and asked for a refund. I have heard nothing.”

“I was hunting for a non high-street brand and stumbled across Shackleton (better marketing needed!) Intrigued by the brand, I surfed the website for a bit and was impressed by the intention and history of them. I found the coat I wanted and the process from purchase to delivery was excellent, fast and efficient. I like the environmental aspects of the brand and the fact that it is not a fashion brand. I will definitely buy again from them.”

“After recently purchasing a Graphene Base Layer I decided on the strength of my satisfaction I also purchased Sterling Military Jumper and expect it to be at the same quality level as ever. The attention to my questions and queries were answered quickly and concisely which I can only be grateful for. Highly recommended to all by someone who would like to think he knows quality when he buys it!”

“I purchased the escape expedition jacket. Fits good and keeps the could out no problem, love the fact it’s highly water repellent and that’s the reason I bought it. I’m not sure you can call this jacket breathable, when I’m walking the dogs in it I sweat quite a bit. The customer service is TERRIBLE!!! I have tried emailing them because they NEVER answer the phone and to my surprise they don’t reply to emails either! A big let down since it’s supposed to be a prestige company with clothing that costs a lot!”

“Jamie was great with the dispatch...unfortunately the gilet was too small..I emailed Shackleton on the same day 16 th jan regarding how to move forward but haven’t had a reply after 4 days,I I’ve also tried to ring but no answer....hopefully I’ll get a reply on reading this email .the expedition jacket fits great but the gilet ordered after the jacket is the one I’m referring to in this review”

“I recently purchased a Pilot All-Conditions Parka from Shackleton and I have to say it is fabulous. This coat keeps you very warm so there is no need to wear anything other than a polo shirt or light jumper under it. I went for a large but in hindsight I could probably have gone for a medium (I’m 6ft and 40” chest). Jamie provided superb customer service when I was looking for help before purchasing. My only (very small) complaint is 2 of the ties which are attached to the zips have fallen off already. I will definitely be purchasing again from Shackleton. Keep up the good work!”
