“Saved my sight.” My practice is in Dereham.I phoned them on Good Friday also during lock down as had a very sore and blurry eye, I am blind in my right eye so was worried as this was my good eye, I left a message and they got back to me within the hour to meet them at their practice. Was sent urgently to hospital as had a piece of metal in it and it was healing over which could have turned out really badly.. They were so professional and kind, many thanks to Calum and to the lady I dealt with as they were amazing.

I am happy with the service that I was given at specsavers. I have stuck with them over the last few years of wearing glasses as I found them to be cheaper in price, and I like the glasses they have on offer compared to other high street or online opticians/suppliers. Considering we are at the moment as a nation in lock down with the Corona Crisis, the service I have been given has been very good. The day before lock down I had an eye test which I didn't have to wait long for. The test I paid £15 for as I had an offer to use, this included a £10 test that I obliged to have extra to test for eye diseases that I could have or get within the next 4years. I ordered 1 x clear lense ,and 1 x sun glasses which were designer with verifocals. My store had closed due to the virus but when I called them they told me that my glasses were ready to collect from a nearby store in Sainsbury's. My glasses had been made and ready for me earlier then I expected, only took Nine days!. I love my new glasses and they fit perfectly. A Big Thank You to Specsavers. 👓🕶👍

I popped into the lewisham branch because I broke my glasses, and didn't have a spare. The young lady fixed the broken ones and told me about the buy one get one free, just incase anything happen to these again. Well done Lewisham.

With the majority of the nation in lock down and fellow optical stores closed, the bigwigs are sacrificing their staff to make a few odd pounds a day. I feel for these individuals who have no choice but to work as their bosses sit at home safe. Im not sure how they live with themselves! Someone needs to help the staff out of this awful situation that their selfish directors have put them in!

Terrible company to work for in a national crisis - risking the health of employees as desperate to keep their doors open, the head office geurnsey have a total lack of respect for staff and store directors - more worried about holding out for as long as they can, true colours have really shown! Not a good company, concerned about profit loss and customer footfall, couldnt give a damn about their staff members!

Firstly, the staff weren't friendly, expect one. I had my eyes checked with the normal test and the OCT scan. I told the opticians about my problems with my eyes, she wasn't really listening to me just looking at her computer. she didn't answer my questions on my concerns. she told me I needed new glasses for my reading, then see looked at my OCT scan and told me I have a slight or thin line of Glaucoma which she said was ok for my age and just to see her in two years time. I let the Opticians feeling worried and upset. when I went back to pick up my glasses I asked the staff about my worries about the glaucoma, they weren't helpful what's so ever. I felt really annoyed. I told my G.P about what she told me, she asked for a note from the opticians about the scan results, when it was send to my G.P. the opitician makes out that theirs nothing really wrong with the scan and that she didn't say that I had glaucoma. why would I make up something so serious. Secondly, I have used my new glasses but it makes my eyes detorted, online it says it would take 2 days for the to adjust to your eyes. but that hasn't happened. I am reluctant to go back having had a bad experience.

A consultant called 2 weeks ago asking if we would like to make an appointment, which I did. The date agreed upon was today 12.3.2020, after 2pm and I was told we would be contacted and given a time beforehand. Four calls to the relevant number and a message each time saying 'leave your number and address and we'll get back to you' have obviously fallen on deaf ears !!!! A poor show !!!

Worst experience. Ordered a urgent refill . Told me ready following day but waited 5 days . Ringing everyday explaining pending travel. Had to get a car to do extra stop on way to airport . Salesperson told me they would be ready but we’re not . Incompetent staff and lots of misleading information even after many calls was less than satisfactory service

Went for my first eye test in years, Was told I needed glasses for reading and using a computer. Collected the glasses, tried to use them and they made the screen and text blurry and I became slightly disoriented. Rang up to ask for advice and was told my eyes need to get used to them and to keep trying them. (Impossible as it was like being drunk) Went in store on Friday and was abruptly told the prescription was correct and my eyes needed to get used to them.(no not at all thy are just wrong) I decided to get a second opinion from a well know company. To my surprise I DIDNT need glasses at all. Spoke to Tom today and explained I’d had a second opinion and that I didn’t need glasses, all of a sudden I can have a full refund once I take the glasses in. Will not be going here again for my daughters glasses. They treat you like your stupid

Following phone call I took in a pair of my spectacles that had fell apart on the nose bridge. I was charged £70 for a replacement frame. They did not even clean the lens. I do not recommend the Hereford branch and would not use again

Excellent service.great prices and they really knew what they were doing. I had some unexpected serious vision problems and I was treated with kindness and they knew exactly what to do. I was more than happy with the service and would not think of going anywhere else.

Just booked a home appointment, the girl on the end of the phone was so quiet and drippy, constantly asking "can i get...?" in a half hearted pathetic voice. I struggled to hear her and felt lije she was half asleep... Goodness knows how an older person would have coped. However... I can't fault our local store so we'll see how the actual home visit turns out.

Always rated your service highly for both contact lenses and glasses, however I visited Boots Opticians and have now changed my mind as their offers on glasses far better. I found the quality and range of glasses far superior. I am now considering changing to Boots the Opticians for both contact lens service and glasses.I found Boots cheaper and offer a more up to date choice for glasses. Sorry Specsavers !

Oh my goodness! Avoid Specsavers at all costs. 2 members of my family have had to return glasses for full refund owing to poor testing and an incorrect prescription. Extremely amateur, unskilled optometrists who clearly make errors. Try Boots, totally different experience.
