If I could give -10 I would. Worst ever customer (no service) experience ever. Guisborough branch, should be ashamed of yourselves. Just interested in taking your money. Shocking , go somewhere that deserves your custom.

Should be a minus star!!! I am still waiting for my prescription sunglasses that my local branch have had since November last year. Stuck in a drawer for over 3 months!!! Then reordered with me paying extra for high index lenses, that was April 2022. No contact with branch so phoned them in August to be told it was a Lost Order and they were waiting for me to give them the go ahead to reorder!!! I’m not telepathic, no one phoned to tell me that it was lost. So they reordered on 25th August and today 8th December I phoned to ask where my glasses were, only to be told that it was a Lost Order and they were waiting for me to give them the go ahead to reorder. You couldn’t make it up. Like a comedy show and they constantly tried to make out it was my fault in the first place. Be interesting to see how long it takes for this new reorder to come! Watch this space!!!

Youv'e seen the adverts, Specsavers Home Visit. I contacted the company about a home visit, as I am unable to get to the store that repeatedly sends me letters saying I'm due another test. I was asked if I can go outside on my own or have to be accompanied, I said I could go out on my own; then they said I don't qualify. I have now made an appointment to see Boots Opticians.

phoned for appt for my son as they sent letter, which is ok. i was asked if my son knew i was making his appointment........which i found odd. as usual with this firm the customer service comes second to them making money . i will try another firm from now on.

This company are the worst ever for the home eye care team. They took a lot of my money in a living crisis and no glasses a month later. Not one call returned. Robbing the disabled and ignore they exist once they take your money for glasses that never appeared and calls never returned.

If there was a MINUS ONE star I could give I would. I’ve had the worse opticians experience I have ever had in the Enfield branch. Starting from my initial appointment being delayed 1 hour after my appointment and an eye test taking 2 hours in total to then being extremely rude on the phone when they eventually answered the phone! The never pick up the phone. Then when I rang ahead to make sure they were ready for collection and they confirmed they were I went there to only find they had LOST my expensive frame I left to have their lenses put in and they have yet to get back to me regarding where they are. AVOID this branch as they don’t seem to know what they’re doing and are extremely unprofessional and rude!

Purchased glasses from specsavers Birkenhead may 2022. Only used them for watching TV. They actually fell to pieces in November. One of the arms fell off. I went back to the shop to see if anything could be done as i didn't break them The arm just fell off. I was told they were unrepairable and I would have to pay for a new frame. I just told them to put them in the bin. Not happy with the service. Will never use them again and will stick with my local opticians. Would not recommend.

I've phoned the Fitzroy Street branch of Specsavers 3 times over as many days to arrange to collect my new glasses. Always busy, but a return call promised. It hasn't come. This happened last year too. Yesterday I sent an email asking for an appointment, again no reply and I have sent another. Very poor and disappointing customer service; I shall go elsewhere next time I need an optician and certainly won't recommend this store to others. Poor show.

Minus One star. Rotherham specsavers used to be good. My bus was a no show. Next bus late. I rang specsavers to say why I'm going to be a few minutes late. I ran to the shop. I'm 62 with asthmatic symptoms. Also have autism. The staff woman in the shop didn't give a s**t why I was breathless just kept telling me to re book. My stress levels were causing a meltdown. Someone needs to tell this member of staff that she doesn't actually own the company. Her attitude stank.

I've been going back and to, to Mold Specsavers saying my prescription is wrong. Jack the manager didn't believe me, I had an eye test and the optician agreed with him nothing was wrong. I visited another optician last week had an eye test and found my prescription had improved, hence that's why I was sliding my glasses down my nose and my eyes were very irritated wearing my contact lenses. In the past years I've had congenital fourth nerve palsy successfully corrected at Walton. Earlier this year Jack blamed my eyesight changing on not having height measurement in my glasses and decided to incorporate this into my lenses. This also I've learnt to be incorrect, then he proceeded to ask me if I was diabetic.

Due to vision problems in one eye (to include a shadow), I paid for a consultation during which my eye was scanned. Optometrist informed me that my eye was healthy. I did not feel confident with what I was told so the next day, with my vision still the same as it was, I went to my A&E who referred me to the eye clinic to be seen the next day. The eye clinic sent me straight away to Moorfields hospital where I underwent surgery that day. So much for specsavers diagnosis of my eye being healthy. It was pointless complaining to specsavers. If in doubt about anything with your vision, get a second opinion.

No answer to telephone calls or emails, failing to notify when glasses are ready for collection. Disgraceful service and pathetic apologising shall not be visiting in the future

Test at the branch was ok although some of the staff not too friendly. I was told my glasses are going to be ready by Monday but still no sign of them. Apparently they haven't arrived yet , which is 8 working days after my visit. I wonder if they were even ordered. Lack of empathy towards customers is beyond me. You might wait for your glasses for ages without a word from Do yourself a favour and avoid this branch as it's such a waste of time, money and your energy

Arrived for contact lenses check up today - 15 minutes late - went into room for test - the guy asked 'are you new to contact lenses' I've been wearing them for 45 years! Then he cannot access me online - waited another 10 minutes. Decided to leave as was fuming - went to desk 6 people huddled round chatting whilst one on the phone - I said I was unhappy and leaving to which the lady at the desk said ' well he is a trainee'. I told them the last few times I have been with specsaver for my lenses it has been a farce - issued wrong prescriptions as no one updated the screen. For my glasses I had a good experience. Lenses rubbish experience and have now booked in at VISION EXPRESS .

I had my glasses done 1 month ago. The temlpes fell off and had to go back to store to get them fixed. The employees told thus is only a little thing. I wouldn't say so as the fell apart right after I bought them. I also asked to check the lenses as I do not think they are right for me. The employees were looking at me as if I were going something wrong. At the end they said my glasses are perfect and don't need changing. I certainly wont buy from them again. Go to an eye doctor and pay the price for a better check, then go to another company to get proper glasses. You are likely to end up wirh good glasses. Highly dissatisfied.
