“Sport Direct is excellent”

“Terrible. Half my order arrived in an unsealed box (not taped up!), and the other half just didn't arrive at all! Contacting customer services is a nightmare. I just ended up with bot responses until I found the Sports Direct Facebook page and contacted them via Messenger. Unprofessional to say the least. I have to accept that my order was lost a week ago and I've got to contact my credit card company to pursue a refund. Disgusting service.”

“Could not fulfill the majority of my order as even though available to select on the site got a message was out of stock after submitting order. This happened with two order, 2nd time what was left was not value add with the same applied shipping costs. Requested to cancel as should be allowed but they refused even though the order was not processed for another 4 days (still one item not processed). Will not use them again.”

“Still waiting for delivery of my item - more a problem with Hermes than Sports Direct. They have had my parcel for a week and still no sign of a delivery date. Parcel arrived intact and complete. Good quality weight set.”

“After ordering trainers in my preferred size I was sent an email which notified a completely different size. I emailed your customer services within minutes of receiving the email and was automatically told that nothing can be done. Rather than have the order cancelled before dispatched I had to wait until delivery - decline the delivery and then again email multiple times before having a resolution. Automated responses are awful in this situation and having to repeat my issue was frustrating. The advisor Asma was the only one to read back the email the email thread and took ownership of the situation which was the only saving grace. From someone who has worked in the customer service journey I would highly recommend looking at a new structure that would help your customers and also realistically save the company money.”

“Getting the item delivered is just great...but what a pain it is when having to send it back again. As for the shoe size - Sports Direct size 10.5 is closer to a 9 than it is anything else - cannot get my foot in the shoe; never mind see how it feels. All in all, not brilliant!”

“I ordered some trainers which arrived really quickly with Hermes. They were a little too big but I was easily able to exchange them (although It wasn’t free postage) and the new pair arrived equally efficiently. A very good service but when so many other companies are providing free returns/exchanges I was a little surprised that a company as large and successful as Sports Direct aren’t able to offer this too.”

“Very poor service from Sports Direct. A pair of trousers from a wet suit set that I ordered never arrived. I have contacted Sports Direct about the issue (sent back all required photos of packaging etc.) and was told to wait 14 working days and nothing has arrived- nor have I received any follow up communication from Sports Direct. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the service. I have paid for the goods and I would like to the receive the entire product that I paid for.”
