dispatch emails claiming deliver between 1752 to 1852. Then whilst I am in my front room a mail claiming no one was in... odd as i was in and 3 feet from front door

We are sorry you are disappointed , as per our email - and highlighted on product page we do not send the product you bought outside of the EU. This was the reason we cancelled and voided your transaction. You would have received an email as the order was also cancelled within 5mins of being received.

Very poor first experience I'm afraid. Took 45 minutes to purchase a pair of shoes with two phone calls to customer services. Website unable to cope with billing address in UK and delivery to Spain. Once information put in unable to change because of cookies! Also email sent to me to track goods input order number an no information. Goods not yet received and unable to track so compleatly in the dark.

Hi Thanks for your email. We are sorry it took you so long to place an order. As an account was created, all that was needed was to add an alternative delivery address so when getting to final page of payment you just select the shipping from your address book. However the original account created was just for your UK address. The checkmark has to be un-checked - "copy billing address to delivery " so you can input delivery manually. This is check marked by default so customers don't need to input billing and delivery addresses twice. When you phoned customer services they simply asked you clear your cookies, as this would resolve any inputted information from you history allowing you start again fresh. I believe this worked and we have received your order successfully. The tracking information is sent out by default so you are aware of when your parcel will be on its route. If the information is not showing straight away on the courier site - this would imply the parcel is in transit to the dispatch depo where they barcode and make each tracking code live for the rest of its journey to the delivery address. It is no good sending a review when you have not received item yet. I suggest that you dispatch item quicker or hold back on sending reviews. Item may well of deserved a excellent but a poor service by sending this before I actually have what I paid for

I paid £400 for a pair of boots that were very poorly finished. As I am about to travel I don't have time to return them. It is a poor performance from Grensons and Stuart's. I am disappointed

Insole wasn't even stuck to the inside of the bottom of the shoe, scuff on the back of one of the trainers. Not happy considering I spent £60. Will not use this company again.

I ordered a pair of trainers which I needed next day delivery on. I paid extra money for the service but the item arrived 48 hours later. Which was too late. I ended up having to go to post office as I already waited in a whole day from work. Which was a waste of time. Then I had to send the item back and I will await to see when I get my refund hopefully MY NEXT DAY DELIVERY CHARGE WILL BE REFUNDED. DIsappointed as prices were ok.

I received confirmation of delivery from your delivery partner. I was told I'd get an email telling me when I could pick up the parcel from my designated pick-up shop on 3 December before midday. I haven't heard anything since then.

I have to pay for the return and then I get charged for the original delivery although I qualified for free delivery and I'm keeping 1 of the items !!! Disgusting, never heard of that before and you will never get mine or anybody I know custom again.

Really disappointed with the service you have provided, ordered a size UK 7.5 and received a 8.5. The trainers are far too big for me and there are no more left in my size. Is there anything you could do? Or should i just return the trainers.

Dear Jack I believe a member of our Customer Service team has been in touch. Sorry for our negligence on this order, the shoes inside the box were not correct to that of what was marked outside of the box. We do try and check all footwear before sending out, however Nike usually are 99% perfect of that what is delivered to us from their warehouse. I know that all has been resolved and any postage cost to you plus footwear will be refunded. Kind Regards Trevor

I purchased a pair of swims in the sale at a very good rate. The order I received was incorrect and no attempt was made to resolve it. I was told the item was now no longer in stock and just to return them. When I placed the order the shoe was clearly in stock and due to incorrect processing I missed out on the product. If the shoe comes back into stock they should honour the price and provide me with the correct item in my opinion.

Dear David, We very much agree with your opinion and if they do come back into stock we will of course will honour a discounted price for you. The shoes in stock were incorrect due to Swims packaging. We sometimes in high volume sales times rely on our suppliers quality control. In this case the box was correct but the packaged items enclosed were not. We should have checked the item before sending out , but it seems, this was not carried out. You will be refunded in full and the item will be collected from you. Please, if you get the chance to, email our director Ravi@stuartslondon.com about this error and we are sure he will offer you a non-sale item at a discounted price just for you, or your choice. It's a first time we have had an issue like this and we would very much like to restore your faith in Stuarts London. Pleas accept our sincere apologies from all the team. i purchased 250+gbp to have a free shipping! but then after 2 days of waiting they still did not shipped my orders and charging me 18gbp so they will dispatch my order! unacceptable!

I've given one star because I called for some sizing advice before placing my online order for an Anderson's belt. I've returned 2 belts now at my expense because the sizes were too small. If the advice had been accurate, which wouldn't have been too difficult to achieve, I wouldn't have had to go through this process. Better sizing advice for these products on your website would help too. Regards Oliver Shenton

Make sure you read the delivery and returns policy, the online prices may look good but if a refund is required then the charge for returning is not covered by Stuart's but at a cost to the customer, I paid £18 via Royal Mail and then also charged the £3.95 for the free delivery which Stuart's request you pay if a refund is require!!!!

Ordered a pair of jeans..Was told I would get them in a couple of days..Still no sign of them..By comparison I ordered a camera from USA on a monday received them on a wednesday..Not impressed with the delivery system used...

Dear Mr Porter You place an order 28th Evening. Stock was dispatched first thing on the 29th. Due to New Year's Eve and New Year's Day - The parcel was delayed. However please check tracking information as it suggests they attempted delivery today on at 1.39pm and no one was in to sign for it. Very bad experience as first time shopping here. I received a stock notification mail for boots i wanted so i ordered them straight away only the next day received an email to say no stock found. Very dissapointing as could have ordered them elsewhere now they have sold out of my size.

Dear Customer, Due to a glitch in the system, the product was showing available online for a very short period of time. I was very unimpressed by their 'like this to receive £1 off your order' offer on the payment page. I duly 'liked' and my like was visible on Facebook - yet did not receive £1 off. I emailed Stuarts to query this but their 'customer service manager' preferred to argue the point about why I would not get £1 off. It's not a lot of money but it left a bad taste - it seems like a sneaky way to trick people into giving you free publicity.

Dear Simon, Many thanks for your message - I am sorry that the £1 wasn't deducted at the point of sale. However I have overlooked everything and the function for clicking "like" on Facebook will work when you are logged into your account on Facebook. Or the system, will recognise you are not logged in and prompt you to log into Face book to complete your post. As you are doing us a favour by letting your friends know about Stuarts London we deduct the £1.00 of your total basket value as thank you reward.
