We booked a hotel with you to stay in Tenerife on March 21 ,sent a email ,that the government were telling people not to go,,and tried to change the date due to the coronavirus, had a email to say you are looking into it, but still, nothing ,spoke to my insurance,who said there is no they have payed for a hotel which is closed, please return my money ,or I will go to the small courts to reclaim it and the television consumers programs

AVOID THIS SHODDY COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!! They have emailed me on 13.03.20 at 3.42pm to say my holiday has been cancelled and will be refunded due to the travel ban for Malta. They have failed to action my refund so far!!!! They have cheekily closed their phone lines so customers like myself won’t be able to contact them at this time of crisis!!! I have emailed them so many times over course of 5 days and all they have said is that someone from their so called operations team will be in contact to discuss my refund and yet no one has!! One is telling me it has refunded, the other is telling me someone will be in contact to discuss!! There’s nothing to discuss except you lot to GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!! WHY DO I HAVE TO CHASE AFTER MY OWN MONEY!!!!! NEVER WILL I EVER BE BOOKING WITH THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN, NOT A VERY GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION!!! BOOK AT YOUR OWN PERIL BUT I WOULD AVOID, AVOID! I HAD TO RAISE A CHARGEBACK CLAIM THROUGH MY CREDIT CARD.

Worst ever customer service was due to fly to Tenerife today got our flight money back from jet2 sunshine won’t reply to any emails and phone lines have been switched off need my money back for Hotel never will I use these again terrible customer service

Booked for Egypt on the 23rd March but the holiday is cancelled now. This company do nothing to let you know whats happening, they don't respond to emails and the phone lines are closed !!! Never ever will i book with Sunshine again or any other online place such as the parent On The Beach, if any remain open after this.

We was due to fly out on the 19th all inclusive to Cyprus and are due a refund due to the coronavirus. We heard from them via Email On Friday but since then they are NOT responding to emails and phone lines are closed! Please do not booking anything with this company. I Will post an update if I hear from them. Very disappointed.

We booked a hotel with sunshine for March 21 in Tenerife, we cancelled it last Saturday due to the coronavirus,we are not under ABTA, because it was only the hotel,I can’t see the hotel being payed by sunshine, but think it very unfair ,we have got go to insurance to claim our money back, not sure if will have it

Had trouble booking my family holiday as each time I selected a hotel it was not available and they took my deposit and trying to charge for cancellation would not recommend at all and will not be booking with these again!

Took our booking then received an email to say that it wasn't a confirmed booking and that it would take 48 hours for confirmation. Over 30mins waiting on the phone. Put through to Alex in bookings/confirmations. Unhelpful and rude .then refused to put me through to supervisor or colleague saying if I had a problem I needed to email. When challenged about poor customer service hung up on my me. Just a note to sunshine ...I wasnt rude or offensive nor did i swear so 100% no reason to hang up. When I rang back to cancel was spoken to like dirt by a colleague. Both members of staff should not be working on telephones serving customers.

We booked with you 3 different hollidays, and then received calls telling us that flights were no longer available, we did this over the period of a week, arranging time off work and kids hollidays etc, then when we booked for the fourth time we then received a call saying the price had increased by over £500 which has now destroyed our spending money allowance but we had to pay it as we had now ran out of options, you shouldnt have hollidays advertised which are not available, that is just crazy 😞😞😞😞😞😞😞

You dont pay the price on screen. They ring you up the next day demanding more money and say their prices are not live

I was thinking about going half board but was disgusted on what you were going to charge me £40 and on top of that would of been £19 which I would of gladly paid

Today we were disappointed because despite 'booking' with friends online last night we have now found out that we are required to travel on different flights - and that option cost more than the advertised cost! We've used Sunshine/On the Beach several times before but am not sure we will again...

Holiday was cancelled by Sunshine & i am still waiting to receive my money back. I have been very patient as we were travelling on May 31st. But if I don't receive it in the next week we will be seeking legal advice & acting accordingly. I wouldn't reccomend Sunshine.co.uk to anybody. You can't get through to them on the telephone. You get cut off whichever option you choose
