would give zero but no option. My partner and I have lost our jobs due to the coronavirus and were forced to cancel our booking. The very next day they took the remaining balance of the holiday out of our account without warning in these harsh times. called multiple times to try to reason with them with no joy. CON ARTISTS, DO NOT BOOK YOUR HOLIDAY WITH THESE SCUM!!!!!

This company is a complete rip off they will take as much money as they can I made a genuine mistake on a booking booked it again wrong date had come up so tried again for a third time tried to ring them to cancel the last 2 bookings off within 12 hours could not get to speak to anyone 3 days later I got an email saying I had 3 bookings and I told them I had been ringing all the numbers to cancel them now they want 2 lots of full price flights and us to pay for the holiday we wanted they have already took 3 booking fees it's an absolute disgrace

This company is a joke I booked with sunshine for November I could not speak to anyone on the phone I booked for 29th Nov for 4 weeks I didn't get a confirmation so I presumed it had not gone through so booked again I put 29th in and after I had booked I noticed the flights had come up 26th so tried again they came up 28th so I tried ringing sunshine to cancel the last 2 off within 12 hrs of booking could not get through to anyone 3 days later I got an email saying I had 3 bookings with them I explained what had happened and wanted the last 2 bookings taking off they now telling me I have to pay full flight price for each booking how the he'll can I travel to the same hotel 3 times within 3 days now they are refusing to knock the other 2 flights off and still expecting me to pay for the holiday going on the 29th I have already paid 3 booking fees it's discusting

I have had an email from Martin Lewis who has advised me me claim chargeback from sunshine on credit card,anybody who has not received refund can claim this

This company have blatantly lied to me and stole my money, wanted to cancel hotel and was informed to pay full cost of flights first then they can cancel hotel, advised not to check in my flights for my flights in June due to cv19, now Ryanair have cancelled my flight and I have asked for refund to be told I cancelled the flights therefore no refund, looked on Ryanair website my flights are still active and can apply for refund or change. I’m a practicing nurse on the front line and have been treated despicably by this company who will pocket my refund. Ryanair have informed me the monies will be sent to the company and it’s up to them to refund. I’ve tweeted pies Morgan and think all disgruntled customers should do the same. I have been treated appallingly by sunshine and on the beach company

I booked with sunshine holidays jan for a holiday in April, all cancelled and they are absolutely awful refunds and just give one excuse after another and keep blaming the airline for lack of refund.....yet the law states that the travel agent is the one liable for any refund. When I asked for a direct contact with the airline co that THEY paid and are waiting for refund they simply said go to customer services of the airline.... I’m just being shoved from pillar to post and they are absolutely of no use whatsoever.......Very quick to take your money and very slow to abide by the law over refunds

Booked holiday for 19th March 2020 holiday cancelled..had refund for hotel and transfer but having Zero luck getting our flights money back Sending emails but getting just automated reply NOT HAPPY anyone else having same trouble??

I had a holiday booked for the Easter holidays but was cancelled I've not been able to get in contact with sunshine holidays i had a refund for the hotel but not the flights. I will never use this company again.

Booked a holiday for March 2020 which understandably was cancelled. I am having absolutely no luck with trying to get either a refund or a voucher. I have been told they are dealing with claims in date order. However, I have been refunded my May departure so what’s happening here. I seem to get an automated reply when I try to contact them. Never again will I deal with this shambolic company

Initially I thought everything was fine but it seems when there is a problem it's not that easy to get your money back. I've been patient and finally I got an email this morning saying my refund has been approved... This refund is for the hotel only and not the flights and of course there is no way of contacting sunshine.co.uk as emails are "noreply" and the telephone lines are now unmanned. The follow up questions on this survey are a joke too..

Received an email 3 weeks ago to say my holiday has been cancelled,I have emailed sunshine so many times with reference my refund,They just keep saying they are dealing with it.Not very good customer service but they are quick to take your money.sunshine just give the people what you owe them as this will have a knock on effect on you in the future .

I too am having big issues getting my refund through. If they dont have the money they should go into administration then we can all claim on ATOL. The worry is if all travel agents and airlines go bust then ATOL wont have the funds to cope with this. Sunshine holidays have always been good in the past. Not anymore - im just waiting for them to go into administration.

had a holiday booked for turkey on the 9/5/2020 had an email giving us a chance to cancel with this covid19 with the world up the wall we took there request then to be told they are taking 30%plus £25pp out of the money we have paid totally ripped us off knowing people can’t travel wouldn’t book with this company ever gain beware

I do not recommend They cancelled our trip because of the COVID19 and they don't wan't to refunded our money Do not buy trips from them They are scammers I have always bought trips from website on the beach and this travel agency is highly recommendable They always refunded money if I had to cancel the trip without any problems And my fault is that this time I bought trip from sunshine website I regret it very much Be careful people and do not buy trips from them It is better to add more money and use a travel agency that is fair and competent

Very DISHONEST company Booked a full package holiday due to be traveling on the 27th of March. Due to COVID 19 they cancelled the booking. Now, they are REFUSING to give me a Full Refund. Vouchers anyone??? I have contacted the Citizen Advice, they confirmed what I thought. The Law says: "If there are exceptional circumstances before you leave: You can cancel your holiday without having to pay a fee. You’ll get a full refund but won’t be entitled to any compensation. The exceptional circumstances must be at or near your destination. They must have a significant effect on your holiday or on getting there - like if planes can’t fly there because of volcanic ash. Examples of exceptional circumstances include: - war - a serious disease - natural disasters - like floods, earthquakes or weather conditions" It is very, very simple: there are exceptional circumstances before travelling, the LAW says I am entitled to a full refund. I have asked them repeatedly for a full refund, they keep refusing. Their internal answering messaging is answered like robots, without even reading my messages and they even just had the courage to change the subject of MY messages, from “Refund owned” to “Holiday effected”. That leaves me no other alternative than take them to Court or even quicker take the “chargeback” through my Bank. What a bunch of dishonest people. NEVER again.

THE COMPANY ARE A BUNCH OF THIEVES!!! BEWARE... I have booked a holiday to Malta all inclusive on 15.03.20 to return on 19.03.20 but due to the covid19 my holiday got cancelled by sunshine on 13.03.20 and I received an email from them to say I will get a refund of £368.56!! HOWEVER, after many countless and endless amount of messages going back and forth for almost two weeks I only got a partial refund of £270.80!!! WHICH IS NOT CORRECT!! I paid you lot £368.56 so I expect the full amount back, not a partial refund!! Now they are saying they can not refund me unless the airline refunds them £97.76 but that is NOT my problem you dimwits!! I PAID YOU £368.56 SO I EXPECT THAT MONEY BACK FROM YOU!! WHERE THE HELL IS THE REST OF MY MONEY???!! I AM STILL OWED £97.76!!! I WILL NOW HAVE TO TAKE THEM TO COURT AS THIS IS GETTING BEYOND A JOKE!! THE FACT YOU ARE CLOSING MY REQUESTS WITHOUT ACTIONING MY REMAINING REFUND SPEAKS VOLUMES OF YOU AS A COMPANY!! People please please do not book with them!!! They steal your money and do not refund you the full amount that you are rightly owed!!

Booked a hotel for the 21/03/20 in Gran Canaria. Sunshine cancelled the holiday on the 15th saying I would be refunded, however after loads of messages was told I wasn't ATOL protected so wouldn't get a penny back. What difference does it make? Does that mean they can cancel any holiday anytime and keep your cash?.Needless to say I won't be booking through sunshine again
