“I purchased a set of 4 bar stools, along with a few small items. I received the small items and not the barstools. I provided proof from the post office that what they delivered with the tracking number that was supposed to contain barstools was a small 64 oz package. They refused to refund me for the $317 barstools!!”
“My experience has been a nightmare. When I received an email on Nov. 19 saying that my package was delivered at 2:51 p.m., I immediately checked outside my door and even in the lobby of our condo building and saw that nothing was there. NO one called my callbox to asked to be let into the building, NO one knocked at my door and NO one delivered a parcel. Security cameras can prove it. I repeatedly tried contacting EMIle couriers, but they would always disconnect my call before I got to speak to someone. Temu, on their AI chat, kept insisting that the package had been "delivered" according to EMIle's tracking sheet. Then they said I had to pick it up at a "pickup location" even though no location name or address was given. THEN on their chatline a probably AI generated person named June Cloi said they would send a refund. THEN I received a message saying my parcel had been delivered and the case would be "closed". Then when I tried to contact them this morning, another chat line agent named Jonard B. (likely another AI "person"??") said I would get a rebate again. From what has going on so far, I think it's all just a ploy and coverup for what is a total scam. When I downloaded Emile's tracking for my delivery, it shows that the order was not even sent to Whitby, but to an address in Toronto.”
“I’m such a sucker. While I was shopping, more discounts popped up, if I bought (2) more items it was 90% off the original price.
I had only minutes to select a couple other items and get to my cart. It wasn’t difficult considering how much camping gear they have.
When I checked out, I didn’t get my total. It was emailed in a confirmation email. I saw then that I had paid full price for everything.
I contacted customer support and they make it so difficult to amend an order. They consider each item on an order a separate order. It’s nuts
I finally demanded that they cancel my order and not to ship me anything. I said to reverse any credit card charges and do not ship this order, repeatedly.
They shipped all of it that night of course.
Now they want me to pay shipping to get a refund. I did cancel the payment on my credit card but we are battling it out.
I hope that I win. I don’t care if they send after the stuff or not. I’m just going to do all I can not to pay them for being so disrespectful and disregarding of my wishes. How can they think that was just ok to do to someone???
No business ethics at all! No decent customer service at all! They haven’t tried to contact me in well over a month since I disputed the charge. They have re-disputed it with my card company recently.
The only contact I have had is from a company called X-ING Camping, I do believe. They were quite nice and were inquiring what the trouble was with the credit card block. I was like: “what do you mean, what’s the trouble?” I thought it was Temu messaging me at first. Then I realized they were one of the distributors.
That cut that conversation short. That’s the only messaging of any kind related to this other than my card company.
I do have copies of my conversation with Temu. They are in the wrong. I should not have to lift a finger to help them retrieve these packages. They should send a courier to my house and pick them up. While the courier is here, they can, re-box them. LOL!”
“I spent over an hour trying to explain, if I put all my return items (7 being heavy tarps) in one box, it is too heavy to lift. All in vain.
Thought I had solved weight issue and put 3 x large tarps, and some smaller return items, in one parcel and the rest in another. Did not work as it generated a return postage charge. Again, tried explaining weight issue to different staff member. Kept receiving generic replies about returning items. Realised I was bashing my head against brick wall trying to find common sense answer.
I cancelled all return requests and started again.
Returns system would only accept the tarps and 11 other items - 18 items in total - in one box, which I cannot lift.
Return system generated another return, this time allowing 11 items to be returned in one box. Except for 2 items, the rest were baby clothes, which bareĺy covered base of box.
Another return generated for three remaining items of return.
Thought I would give Temu one more try to see if three items could go in box with baby clothes. Stupid me!
On top of this ridiculousness is
Temu's HUGE carbon footprint it is unnecessarily making.
Loyal customers were hit with minimum purchase limits, mine is $50. It now means, to purchase my $20 item I have to waste extra $30 on items I do not want and am going to return.
Extra fuel used for heavier bulkier oackage to be shipped qnd delivered to me. Fuel used by me to return excess items to post office. More fuel used for delivering package to ship and shipping back to Temu. If not shipping then flying.
Temu is creating more carbon output through their minimum purchase rule and costing company millions $ for customers returning unwanted items.
This explains the 'logic' I had to deal with regarding package weight issue.”
“Despite receiving a text on November 19 saying my items were delivered at 2:51 p.m, I did NOT receive my order. I live in a condo and was home all day. NO one called for access to our condo building, NO one knocked at our door with a delivery and NO photo of the delivery was taken. Our building’s security camera would prove it. As soon as I received the email from their logistics company (Emile) saying the parcel had just been delivered, I immediately opened my door and found nothing there. I even went to the lobby of our condo building and checked outside to see if a parcel was left. I repeatedly tried calling the delivery company called EMile, but EVERY time, they would disconnect my call after being put on hold. I also tried getting in touch with Temu, but I still have had no success in learning anything about my order, despite what appears to be an AI "person" saying that the package had been delivered Eventually they said my package was “delivered” to a “pick up location” but gave no address or even city for the pickup location. When I asked where it was, I never received a reply and am still waiting for one. My previous orders from Temu had all been delivered to my door with no issues. This was a different delivery company though. It is extremely frustrating not being able to talk or write to a REAL person at Temu.”
“This company lies to get u to buy now for $300 jackpot then u pay now but have to be a certain amount so you pay now with extra money and never get the jackpot. Dumb me tried 3x never received
Don't shop here try SheIn same stuff”
“Really poor - was meant to deliver in 5 days, 15 days later still no delivery, customer care is only AI and they still keep sending me more ideas to buy - complete scam”
“Just spent ann hour with a customer support Monica N who , instead of support, argue that I did not do steps 1,2,3 and that is why she cannot help; but at the first contact, I already told her I did steps 1,2,3... she should apply for a job at the Claims Dept of an insurance company; not only her attitude is negative, she keeps finding ways to say it is customer's problem and refuse to ask supervisor or another agent to talk to me; I talked to Temu agent many times and each time they would get another person or supervisor to help resolve the issue; this time this Monica N pretends she cannot transfer and tried to bluff me off after I asked her to change to another person 13 times
; this is really BAD customer service....”
“Won R4000 in-app coupon. To use I was requested to buy 2 items to be abled to action. Once items were paid, the coupon disapeared?
Afterwards new voucher of R2000 was allocated to me but 2 new items had to be bought 1st to use it??”
“I happy at the beginning because good bargains and the price was good, quality, however lately, the prices went up, the quality terrible, I don't think it's worth it keep buying, I guess, I'm to go back local since I can see the quality and price before the purchase.”
“Terrible terrible
Customer service . I have an order that was “ delivered” it came in 2 packages and I was refunded one but not the other and they are refusing to refund or reship the order. I have been waiting for a supervisor to call me since 11/12 it is now 11/21 and several tickets have been made and closed. I get an automated email at 6 am from “Gabriella” saying they are working on it but that’s not true either. They just transfer you around to shut you up and say it’s been delivered. I’m out $100 now and no items before Christmas! They also keep asking me to send pictures and videos of me not receiving the order!!!???”
“If you win free gifts, really you "Don't" you won't get them unless you buy a lot of other unwanted stuff. To get the free gifts. Then you want to order 1 item they will force you to buy more unwanted items to get that one item you want.”
“Whenever I order something, it is not shipped to me. The package Is returned, nobody informs me about the time of picking it. The quality of goods Is poor and if I could give a zero in this review, I would. Horrible, unprofessional, not serious at all.”
“Title: Fraudulent Claims and Horrible Service
I had a terrible experience with Temu. I purchased a 10x10 pop-up canopy tent and never opened or unboxed it because I decided I didn’t need it. I returned the item exactly as it was sent to me—completely untouched and unopened.
However, Temu only gave me a partial refund, claiming the item was “damaged” and “missing pieces.” How could that even be possible when it was never opened?! They are refusing to refund me fully and are essentially blaming me for their own false claims.
Their customer service is atrocious. No help, no accountability, and no respect for their customers. I will never shop with them again and urge others to avoid this shady company. Save your money and shop elsewhere!”
