“Temu customer service is AI generated responses that rarely address the issue you are contacting them about. Some of their sellers are quite dishonest and Temu allows that. I have often ordered one item and received another in its place. Temu says contact the seller. The seller says they sent the correct item. I send them a screenshot of their advertisement to prove it was not the correct item. They say they will look into it and Temu contacts me. Temu says they will look into it. After three days and many wasted hours nothing is resolved. Temu says your ticket is closed, dispute resolved. I am out $40 and will never shop on Temu again.”
“I ordered around 25 products from the Temu website, and while the pictures initially looked promising, I was disappointed with the quality of the items upon arrival. They seemed poorly made and did not match the images, which gave the impression that they were heavily photoshopped.

“I waited two months to redo all my order. When it finally all arrived I found it to be nothing like the pictures of the items I chose to buy. I had to resubmit my returns for refund twice while I waited for everything else to arrive as I only had one free return per order. I taped all the packages together and used a n entire roll of tape so nothing could go missing. They are claiming they haven’t received a large part of the order back, totalling over £110. How convenient… and customer services forwarded my issues to a supervisor who claimed there was nothing they could do, even though I have a receipt for the parcel returned and two of the items have been refunded from that parcel… but the rest of it has vanished. Con merchants! I will be deleting the app and strongly advise people to do the same.”
“I discovered Temu over a year ago after going through cancer treatment & losing a lot of weight. Now, I’m in remission, have gained weight, & even though cancer caused irreparable damage, I’m here. I purchased an entire wardrobe & sandals from Temu, and everything went fine. A friend warned me that as long as everything went well, no worries, but if I ever had to make a return, it was a nightmare & money loss. I should’ve listened and never purchased from them.
Recently, I purchased three pairs of sandals, and unfortunately, even though I ordered the same size as always, they didn’t fit & when I placed them next to the previous purchases, it was apparent the new ones received were much larger. I took pictures of the new sandals next to the older ones to show the size to scale. The website provides few options when returning items. Unfortunately, one of the things I couldn’t do was explain that due to my condition, being disabled, and not being able to go to a UPS or FedEx store, I would need the items to be picked up at the Assisted Living Facility where I live.
Their website is incredibly limited regarding refunds/returns & is set up for the customer to lose a great deal of money. You are given the option of accepting almost 90% or less of what you paid for an item, not have to return them, and the matter is closed. My purchase was about fifteen dollars and change, which may not be much to others, but I live on a fixed Social Security disability check. For me, that is the equivalent of about $1000.00 for someone else.
I had to choose a partial refund of $5.39 and keep sandals, which I’ll have to give or throw away. I get back $5.39 out of the almost $16 I spent. That is what I call highway robbery.”
“Temu now requires a minimum spend of $40 before allowing you to complete the purchase / sale, what a scam. Have now gone back to Ebay for my purchases where the seller has freedom of choice to buy and spend in the quantities and total sale price that they want.”

I wanted to return it in unused condition in original box and they want me to join a “return club” for 55$ per month unless I cancel the club charge. I can imagine how difficult that would be after jumping through all the TEMU hoops.
