“I’m sick of their bait and tactics. Constantly saying one price to check out then bam not included, then ohh, you need to spend another 12.49 to buy a 1.75 item. I never know what I’m getting. Sizes I expect are always smaller than what I chose. This is a constant. I stop shopping for 3 months at a time, just to avoid the confusion of their ordering service.”

“They are selling into the UK, mains electricity products with no fuse in them. The mains plug on these products do not conform to British standards in law. The lack of a fuse is creating a fire hazard as the cable becomes the fuse! A fuse is required because British houses have a ring main configuration!
Despite highlighting the problem to TEMU multiple times, they insist on ignoring the issue and are happy to let their products BURN British houses to the GROUND.”
“After ordering a few times we have decided not to use Temu ever again, products are very cheaply made, and the performance is not as good as it’s supposed to be, some products are delivered damaged and it’s not from shipping, it’s from manufacturing or the warehouse, but basically we gave up because we couldn’t trust that what we were buying wasn’t a piece of junk, the free gifts are all cheap junk to hook you into buying more, don’t fall for it like we did, bought a mini projector for my cell phone and the image is absolute garbage, I don’t even use it, bought a shower curtain and the stitching on the folded edges is defective in a few places, bought a shower head with a hand held piece and the connector came all gouged up as if it had been cut with a hacksaw, anyway that’s what we have to say, be warned.”

“I purchased 17 items to my surprise it was despatched in 5 delivers and I had to pay tax and custom 5 times which amounted more than double that I paid from temu. The items I purchased from temu is now cheaper if I bought locally.
Disappointed with temu”
“I was offered $130 in Temu credit, which sounded great at first. But when I tried to use it, I found out I had to spend at least $250 just to unlock it. That’s not a real deal—it’s just a trap to get you to spend more money. The offer is totally misleading and feels like a bait-and-switch. Be careful and read all the fine print before trusting their promotions.”
“I had purchased several products from Temu without any issues until a few weeks ago when a shipment arrived missing over half of my order. The shipping box was clearly marked with the quantity and weight. I informed Temu that my order was missing items and sent pictures for verification. However, they refused to issue a refund or send the remaining items that I had paid for.
Everything was fine until it wasn't. Temu is a rip-off, plain and simple!

The order was for a 230 lb weight set that was supposed to consist of eight pieces:
- (2) 45 lb plates
- (2) 35 lb plates
- (2) 25 lb plates
- (2) 10 lb plates
What I actually received was a box labeled with a quantity of 6 pieces and a net weight of 45 kg (100 lbs):
- (2) 25 lb plates
- (2) 15 lb plates
- (2) 10 lb plates”
“I ordered a large amount from Temu, however, when I ordered one item they would send me 2 to 5 more of the same item. Their refund policy is ridiculous. I had a very difficult time getting a refund and the majority of the items.”
“They are just so bait and switch. Almost everything is misleading. Do not trust and description at face value. There are definitely some good deals on there, but I am tired of the false advertising and clicking on an item to see that the price was for a totally different version of it. No trust for them.
