When we bought the product it said in stock Western Australia and then took two months + to arrive and it was sent from qld

I paid upfront on behalf of a non profit youth organisation in good faith and then never received the goods. Delivery apparently went to the wrong house. A month later and i am still trying to get a refund after being told that it was the couriers issue. The couriers off course have given no answers.Very poor customer service and they have now lost a client.

Hi , really sorry to hear you're having a hard time getting your parcel delivered. All the couriers we use, we find to be reliable - but unfortunately, sometimes errors in their systems happen & it seems like your parcels having some troubles. I brought a gasmate camping shower, I decided to set it up in the backyard and go through the instruction process so I would be ready when I went away. It didn’t work and then when I started calling tentworld customer service no one could help me it was all to hard! I understand products don’t always work but I don’t think tentworld knows that and there customer service is not set up for that.

I reserved a device at the Fyshwick store and went in to put it on Zip pay. I was told I had to provide them with my email address. I had the app on my phone and open with the barcode etc. So I refused and left. With other various people in the store and within hearing distance there was no way I was providing that info in open air. I then ordered the unit online and no issue. Very disappointed in Fyshwick staff

Worst customer service experience. I sent the Joola Essentials v2 as a gift to my mum for her birthday. When it arrived, it leaked water from inside the main unit (not the connections, actually inside the hot water unit) whenever connected to water. Despite the fact Tentworld have a legal obligation to replace an item that is not fit for purpose, I was given the brush-off & basically told that it would be up to Joolca & that I should deal with them. This item was barely a week old, fresh out of the box & DOA, and Tentworld won’t even take any responsibility to replace it? The best thing I can say was they were fast in responding. Seriously think twice about these guys.

Worst customer experience I’ve had in a long time. Tried to return an ineffective item, but was told it wouldn’t be covered by warranty because, well - that’s just how the item is. Zero care given to customer satisfaction, and no possibility to escalate a dispute. Do not recommend buying from this company.

Warranty issue took a long time to resolve. Despite being told we'd be called when the replacement was available, we eventually called and were informed that it was now available.

I’ve owned two instant up tents, the first was an Oztrail and the later was the Coleman 10 person Gold Series. These tents are incredibly difficult to setup in high-wind conditions. For anyone living in WA, trying to set this up in Sandy Cape Jurien Bay, is near impossible on a windy day. Just as you pop the poles into place, the wind blows them back down. On my first camping trip with the Coleman, one of the poles was severely dented, so we had to replace the tent for a new one. Wind flutter could be heard all night, and they get very warm during the day. The tent is very heavy, and requires two people to place and remove from a car roof top. Packup is also time consuming, and messy. If you’re the sort of camper that will only ever camp in ideal weather conditions, this may be the tent for you - but I will not purchase an instant up tent ever again. The advertising is also a little miss leading. Although the main construct of the tent goes up within minutes, the massive fly takes another 15-30 to put into place and peg down. That is, if you can get it over the tent in windy conditions. If you’re looking for reliable tents, go for the good old fashioned fibreglass setups, pop-ups or even gazebo hubs. I would have loved to post some photos, but did not have any. As a potential buyer, if you do your research you’ll find some photos showing what happens to these tents in windy conditions and heavy rain.

The tent was broke in our camping trip and we went to store to return it back , they didn’t accept return, and they were so unfriendly and not helpful, tent has 2 years warranty and it is not supposed to be broken in first try only after 2 weeks of my purchase, I didn’t expect this from Tentworld

Not sure how Tentworld have managed a 4+ star reveiw rating. I've had a return for a RV3 Oztent with the Tweed Heads store for 3 weeks now. When lodged, store manager Adam advised it would take 7-10 days as Oztent were running slow at the moment. When followed up a week later, Adam said it was only early and with the lockdown in Melb that week, nothing was progressing. He assured me they were doing all they can to process the claim. Having not heard anything for another few days, I called Oztent direct, who were not in Melb, but Syd and I was told neither their Syd or Melb offices were shut for Covid the week before. They advised they had received my warranty claim just a couple of days earlier, a full week after it was lodged Adam at the store. "Doing all he can to process", which turned out to be nothing. Now it's 3 weeks on and still no resolution. Next time it will be Kings, BCF or Anaconda I'll be buying off.

Had the oztent bunker pro for 3 days when it broke a weld and had to be returned. Being a major defect I wanted a refund. Was told oztent need to approve the warranty claim and that I would be offered a store credit. Which is of no use to me because I live in Karratha. Return to the store 2 weeks later and get given a brand new replacement instead of a refund. Now I need to sell this to recoup what I paid for it. Won’t be back.
