The outer cardboard packaging was only just holding together and I cannot be certain that the tent I bought was new. Could well have been a product retuned by a previous customer and reps led for me. Certainly didn’t appear brand new.

Once stock did arrive, we dispatched immediately but has been delayed in the Melbourne depot. Your tracking indicates activity and we are confident it won't be too long before it arrives to you. Made a purchase online slight anomaly on delivery address (the letter d was missing for the abbreviation of Road) useless courier service could not work it out so therefore after many contacts to the courier no joy hopeless service, therefore the item was sent all the way back to Queensland tentworld wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars for it to be sent to me again. I only relented as I needed the equipment to go camping ASAP. Most disgraceful customer service I ever scene. I hope the boss Jon Burrell gets to read this review. I will never purchase from tentworld again and I suggest you think twice of using them as well. Because if something should go wrong your issues will be dealt with nothing but apathy. Disgraceful.!!!!!!!

Hi Mark, Thank you for your review and feedback. It appears when ordering through our website, you had included "Residence next to office unit" before the actual address. This had used up a lot of the number of characters allowed for the address line and "Road" had been cut off from the address. We agree, that it would not have been too much of a stretch for the courier to make an assumption on this one. As the items were returned to us, we had incurred the cost of a failed delivery. Received a gift voucher headed down to my local tent world store and was told I could not use it in store only online.

I ordered some camping equipment online It was in stock, so I ordered it. Told a week later that it was not in stock and they would have to get it from Queensland 3 weeks later I am still waiting for my equipment.

Two weeks to package and get to Toll and two weeks for them to deliver. Wild Earth is far quicker (and their in Queensland as well).

Incredibly slow to deliver. The lower price is not worth the wait. I ordered 2 items via website on the 17th Dec. It still in transit and expected to arrive in 1st of Feb. Rather get an item from Wish next time. Very disappointed.

You sent me the wrong goods and now you are struggling to find a way for me to return the goods. I don't think it is fair that I have to wait for the goods I ordered and paid for and need now because you made a mistake by sending me the wrong goods. What do you think about that?

I placed an order on the 6th of January and only received an email saying that the details were given to the courier company. I’ve received no correspondence to say it’s been shipped, and it won’t show up on the tracking website. I have tried to email tent world twice about this issue but haven’t received a reply. Very disappointed with the lack of correspondence from tentworld

I purchased and payed for a item on the 8-1-2022 , I was sent the incorrect item. I contacted Tentworld who said they didn’t have the stock of the item I ordered and would arrange for pickup of the incorrect item that was sent . They the informed me that they had found the item that I ordered and will get it shipped to me. The incorrect item was picked up on the 21-1-2022 and we have had NO correspondence since.

I noticed after I made my order that my old address was tied to my tentworld account (which I normally don't use because I have been using the guest checkout) and that my package will be delivered there. I emailed in straight away and received a quick response (within the hour of the order being made, which was great), confirming it will be sent to my new address. The problem is this wasn't followed up on and 12 hours later, I receive notification from CouriersPlease saying that the package has been picked up and will be delivered to my old address. I tried using the option in the email to change the delivery address.. But their email redirects are broken and don't include the tracking number, and you have no option to manually enter it in.. plus it just won't accept a new address. Hopeless! Tried calling them, but get stonewalled by an IVR.. I give up on CouriersPlease and call Tentworld. I'm assured it will get sorted and an email would be sent to me with the correction. I hear nothing from Tentworld and 3 days later the package arrives at my old address. Thankfully the new resident is honest and called me about it. It's a 45 minute drive to pick it up which I wont get to until the weekend.. If you are in any kind of customer service, you should do what you say you will do. Admittedly, this is a flow on effect from me not checking the address correctly (the billing and delivery address was different) I could have cancelled the order and re-ordered it to save such a stuff around. I have also noticed that CouriersPlease are getting slammed in google reviews for some of the same rubbish I was complaining about. Using a company like this lowers my confidence to buy through Tentworld in future.

We ordered 2 weeks ago and paid from Express. We still haven't received the order nor an update of our order. We emailed 1 week ago and no responds. Very disappointing

Appalling "customer service" by Support Team Leader Jack Baldwin who refused to refund a deposit on a Coleman 10 Person Tent unless I provided him with a screen shot of my personal bank account claiming it was a directive by Tentworld CEO Jon Burrell. We purchased our tent from Anaconda without obfuscation or feeling patronised. It's a shame customers need to lodge a complaint with Consumer Affairs to refund their own money

I purchased a gift voucher but didn't realise it was for online use only. I emailed to request it be changed for an in-store voucher but have received no correspondence.
