“Ordered an item for my sons birthday. Item was out of stock even though it was in stock on web site. Had to chase tesco to find out what was happening. Was told "it would be easier to have a refund and go and buy it from argos" not good from tesco. Waste of time”

“Purchased school tops as always as they wash and iron perfectly yet look smart. I also purchased batteries off the £1 section and noticed Aldi selling simular but at £1.99 so a nice saving xx”

“Attended my local store last week and was subjected to racist rhetoric from a checkout supervisor because I had the audacity to buy what Tesco was selling, a few months ago my son was also left bruised by a Tesco security guard for..... being chased into the store by an older bully. I lodged a complaint with Tescos customer service and conveniently it has been swept under the proverbial carpet. There is a reason why more and more customers are leaving Tesco and shopping elsewhere.”

“I bought a vacuum cleaner and it stopped working two months later. I called the technical service and they asked me to call the manufacturer directly instead of taking care of the problem themselves. This is against the Consumer Rights Act and, unsurprisingly, also against what they claim in their returns policy web site: "From 30 days after receipt of the goods until 12 months, we will arrange for a repair or replacement of the goods and, if this does not work, a refund." As I'm tired of wrestling Tesco's customer service, I will call the manufacturer myself but, it goes without saying, this is the last time I buy anything from Tesco. There are too many online shops that deal with these problems efficiently to be wasting time on this one.”

“In the busy 'back to school' period, they had the colour & the sweatshirts that I needed in the right size when I couldn't find them anywhere else. Also click & collect is fantastic as it's free & delivered to a very nearby Tesco express.”

“Bought a Sharp 55' smart TV from Tesco in August, the website was easy to use and everything I needed to know about the product was on the description and specifications, delivery was planned for the next working day with and option to track the delivery in real time, I had to alter the time so as to be in when it arrived which was dealt with easily and without fuss. TV was delivered at a convenient time to suit me and was in a good condition. Tesco even gave me clubcard points with my purchase which was an added bonus.”

“I lost my daughter and had purchased baby milk etc that I would not be able to use. The customer service team in the Roneo Corner branch were outstanding, my receipt had expired for refund but they made an exception in my case to refund the goods. Thank you”
