Decreasing choice of branded products results in greater and greater frustration. Today to add yet another lost product to the list 'All-bran' has disappeared from the shelves...not being replaced apparently. The greatest frustration is the amount of copycat packaging of products that purport to be the equivalent of a well known branded product (and not the same quality by the way). The well known branded products are hidden away on the bottom shelves in very small numbers if they are even there! (try buying non-Tesco tinned veg for example) One good thing however is I at least have had the chance to revisit Morrisons on a more regular basis...so thats nearly £30 Tesco lost today because I got what I wanted from Morrisons and found some other products I would have normally bought at Tesco

I'm an autistic and physically disabled woman. The delivery driver agreed to put my black bin liners in the rubbish - then complained to his Manager, who contacted Social Services. I complained and Tesco's agreed that this was inappropriate and unreasonable, apologised and issued me with goodwill vouchers. As a result of my reasonable complaint, Tesco have blocked 'delivery' to my address - and without warning. I'm appalled at my breach of human rights and feel violated and discriminated against in my own home. This is a case of alleged direct and indirect disability discrimination.

We consistently have bad delivery service from Tesco. For this reason, we started ordering with a competitor who provides a spectacular service, however their availability is considerably more limited so when we are in a hurry we have to go back to ordering from Tesco for the same-day or next day slots. Yesterday was one of those days. We ordered in the morning for a 9-10pm slot. We received no calls, texts or emails regarding a change in time. At 10pm, we had not received our groceries; customer service closed at 10pm so we couldn't call anyone for assistance. At 11:20pm, just as I had finally given up, the phone rang and the driver indicated he was nearby. When I questioned why he was so late and why I had not been notified, he never apologised, never explained, essentially just acted as if was normal that he was almost one and a half hours late. When he finally came (10 minutes later), he still gave no apology. I am completely done with ordering from Tesco - even if I have to wait for three days for an available slot with a competitor.

Shopping delivery didn't arrive. Woke up to find a message on the answering machine left at 11pm explaining that it wasn't coming. Didn't receive a call back to reschedule. Called customer service and they can't deliver until tomorrow. Cancelled order and got money back. Have requested to speak to manager but not heard from them yet...

Customer service is rubbish. Steadfastly refused to listen to my complaint, and gave me a load of "company speak". Truly abysmal.

Categories jenny For companies jenny United Kingdom 3 Reviews 614 Reads 1 Useful Review of Tescodirect jenny 3 reviews We ordered two Earley sofa's and a foot stool from Tesco Direct earlier this year, it arrived late April delivered by people who told us "we haven't delivered sofa's before" the result the backs of both items damaged and one leg missing and a lot of stress and inconvenience. We contacted Tesco Direct immediately; they arranged for a replacement leg to be sent, asked for pictures of the damage and eventually compensated us as we couldn't face the stress of a refund or replacement! we really wish now we had opted for refund, within weeks the padding on the arms had started to slip and leave dips, it was very uncomfortable. We again contacted Tesco Direct to find they and the company who made the sofa's had gone out of business but they did agree to send a technician to inspect the damage and although it took some time to get him here he did make a thorough inspection, telling us that while it was not a design fault as such; it did need attention and he would recommend that a further rail be installed in each arm and the padding replaced. We heard nothing from Tesco for over two weeks, this was not a surprise since we have found that customer care at Tesco is a best spasmodic, with some customer care operatives being focused and pro active and others tossing customer queries like hot potatos! we eventually contacted them again to be told "no further action, it is not a design fault"! we have tried to explain that while it might not be a design fault it most certainly is a manufacturing fault since all four arms have deteriorated in the same way. Their only suggestion was that we contact the furniture ombudsman. Since the furniture is not suitable for the purpose intended and sinceTesco have been the ones to take our money we feel this is in direct conflict with our consumer rights. So; anyone who didn't get delivery and have had your money refunded, you have been very fortunate. Take this as a warning and spend you money anywhere but Tesco.

The manager Gary at the Prestwich Superstore in Manchester needs to be retrained in customer service. He is cocky, immature and arrogant. On my last visit to the he was unnecessarily confrontational, shouting " Get out of my store" and " youre barred"

I was over charged by over £20 for items I hadn't ordered. My order was also not complete with no subs and no explanation. Eventually sorted out, but not without NUMEROUS emails and me becoming more and more disgruntled.

Very unimpressed and will not be buying from Tescos again. I purchased a smart TV back in July. My parents collected and paid for it on my behalf. They had a dreadful experience in store, where they were told no one could help them with the TV. They are pensioners and struggled down the escalators resulting in a near accident. My parents were very shaken up. They accidently got the points put on their club card. Tescos will not transfer them to mine even with verication from my parents, they say they cannot do this. We have offered to put it in writing, but have flatly refused to transfer them., which I find very disappointing and unreasonable. They have lost my custom

I did order for 36,27. I had email for 36,27, but when I received my delivery a few days later ,I received a receipt for 46,27. The answer from Tesco-"Thanks for taking the time to contact Tesco Grocery Home Shopping. I am sorry to see that you order is dearer than you had thought it would be, On checking your order the reason why you have charged £46.27 is because the offer on Dr. Oetker Ristorante Pizza Mozzarella 335g and Dr. Oetker Rist Pizza Pepperoni Salame 320g had finish on the 06/08/18 and that you didn't get the offer. For your information if a Offer on any products finish on the a date before your order gets picked for delivery then you would be charged the price of that product on that day. I hope this answer your question. If you’ve any further queries, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Take care & enjoy the rest of the day. It's ALWAYS a bad experience if you have to go there cause you're in a hurry and too far from a competitor. The utter contempt they hold their customers in is reinforced by the latest TV ad, in which they advertise steak but warn us not to lick our television set in the belief that the picture might taste of steak. They really don't understand the concept of appreciating or respecting customers, do they ?
