“I ordered a mobile phone online and selected click and collect at the Rutherglen Extra store. Item was supposed to be ready for collection on Friday 21st December, after 3PM I went to the store at approx. 6PM on Friday. The item was not there and the staff were very confused and did not know where it was. The lady could only suggest that I call Tesco Customer Services. I called Customer Services at approx 7:45PM. Again the gentleman I spoke with was very confused and kept saying it’s not his department. He eventually said that the department that I need to speak to is now closed! He gave me a number to call for the correct department. On Saturday I called the number that I was provided. The lady I spoke with said that the item was sent out for delivery on Friday, but was rejected by staff at the Rutherglen store! She did not know the reason why it was rejected. She said that deliveries to store are not made at the weekends, so the next attempted delivery would be Monday the 24th of December, and this would probably be rejected again! I told the lady that this is completely ridiculous, the mobile phone is for sale in the Rutherglen store, I could have just bought it there anyway! She called the Rutherglen store to ask them if they would provide me with the phone, and return the online order if it did arrive. The Rutherglen store refused this request! I asked the lady to refund my money, and the £40 Clubcard vouchers used to purchase this item. Now I won’t see this money back into my bank account for 5 Business days. How long will that be at this time of year! So I managed to collect £40 Clubcard points this year, by doing the majority of my shopping in Tesco, but that’s it now, will never be going back to the Rutherglen store or any other! Thanks for ruining Christmas Tesco!”

“Too many old Indian women work at Glencoe Tesco. They are rude, and most don't have a clue about customer service. I really don't know how they get the job. They need to check the staff because they are not capable. It is poor service and getting unpleasant to go in to.”

“Horrible shoping experience with arrogant destiny child type employees too busy admiring themselves to help anyone today I got two Nivea beauty bags for presents and when I got home to my horror they had not removed the security tag and last month bought a tracksuit bottoms and when got home security tag on plus on the t shirt all attitude with poor people's skills in this day and age its terrible to have to go home and take out the black and decker drill this happened in Tesco Arthur's quay and tesco in coonagh limerick please please please train staff to help with security tags and be friendly give me ALDI OR LIDL any day”

“14.12.2018 at 23:40 went to Tesco extra in Dundee Kingsway to purchase Kids LOL surprise toys.As toys not get sold from shelf asked stuff to give me toys what I looking (total £88.50)got answer guy who have keys for room busy on till.Lucky if all shop have 20 customers on that time.Plenty tesco workers wondering round shop tills emty.Three of tesco stuff smoking outside shop. What review you can expect.In this situation end up driving to Asda to purchase Kids christmas presents. Spending extra time,fuel and health traveling round town.Can that is right attitude before Christmas guys. :(”

“Tesco free from - Christmas cake mix. Following instructions I a ) Greased my tin, b) emptied dry ingredients in to bowl, went to empty dried fruit into bowl and realised it was DRY. I could barely squeeze a raisin so I soaked the fruit in the brandy for several hours to resuscitate it the proceeded to make the cake. After 55 mins I checked the oven and the cake was cooked. When it had cooled for 90 minutes I cut a little square from the bottom so that I could taste it, HORRIBLE, dry , tasteless and uninteresting, all the things a Christmas cake shouldn't be. My husband said it might be OK with a pint of custard poured over the top, but in fairness he'd eat just about anything with if custard accompanied it. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I'll use my own recipe in future.”

“The breakfast was unfit to eat. Not cooked properly and tasted disgusting. I left it behind, it was that bad. I am not a fussy eater but I do expect food to be cooked properly, I'm surprised no one's been ill.”

“Purchased this on the phone as i wanted to make sure i was able to get the priority Christmas bookings. Was told it was all fine and when to go online for a slot, needed as going on a large family holiday so trying to shop for 12 people for over a week would be a nightmare. I only purchased this for the priority slot as i don't need home delivery. Pre filled my basket almost £800 worth of shopping the day before the slots opened i rang with a question only to be told i had been given the wrong info, i couldn't have the priority booking and had wasted my vouchers. Complained stating my issues told there was nothing they could except speak to the advisor so she didn't do it again. Thankyou Tesco i am up the creek withno paddles and a big hole in my boat. Angry is putting it mild.”

“Disgusting company. Greedy .glenrothes food bank lost out due to their greed . Beware shoppers as the final price of your shopping is only a guide and may go up on the day .I was told to have an extra 20 pound in my account”

“your employees specially managers are rude and do not care about customers. This particular employee who happens to be a manager also was very rude and other customers have also witnessed him being very rude in the past also. Something should be done about this individual!”

“Decided to use Tesco home delivery service to do a weekly shop when recovering from illness. 1st week was ok. 2nd week was awful. There was a note to say 1 item had a short use by date. I checked this item at the time of delivery and accepted it. The next day I discovered most of the fresh food had very short use by dates. The little gem lettuce were already a slimy mess and had to be thrown away. I rang customer service. They refunded the items, but there was no apology. So one star for quality of produce and for customer service. I will not be shopping at Tesco in store or on line in the future.”

“Tesco cafe in amesbury has bad service I waited over 45 mins for food last Friday only one girl serving and cooking when the good came it was disgusting this cafe used to be great for food standard and since the he staff management has changed its gone down hill I won't be returning as a lot of other people ok have spoke to have had the same experience”

“General: The delivery is never on time frame. Specific to last night order (Oct 31): The driver lied about road closure and calling which stupid to lie about given that these can be proven. The customer service did not call back to update today and we should call to find out that our order is cancelled after two phone calls later. They refused to expedite the delivery and refused to update on their CLAIMED investigation about this delivery. Who knows whether they will actually investigate. The company should do better on estimating. We live in central london. You can't forever blame the traffic. The traffic should be counted in the time slot.”

“I used to purchase Tesco's Value Fruit Cocktail Trifle probably more often than I should. However the 'Miss Molly' bdanded one that has replaced it is awful and I won't buy it. Please bring the old one back.”
