I have used the click and collect service a few times now and despite the usual oddly-chosen substitutions my last visit was a shambles. I arrived at Tesco's at around 6.10/6.15 and did not leave until 7pm. If I wanted to spend 45 minutes doing my shopping I would of gone in and done it myself! When I arrived there was a queue and I patiently waited. The lady serving everyone (although she was polite) was only serving the first car under the canopy, meaning we had to wait for them to pack their shopping themselves whilst she clearly could have been serving the second car as well. The first car was packing their items whilst she was just standing there, only when they left did she serve the second car and just stood there again. Surely it would be sensible to have two cars being packed at the same time? After 7 of us now in the queue finally got to the second spot when the lady decided to have a mothers meeting with the customer in front of me. Do we really need to be having mothers meetings when people have got other things to do ? I think there are meeting places for those kind of things. 5 minutes later when she decided to start work again they were served, after another quick chat I got in. Whats the point of click and collect if I could do my own shopping (and get the products I want) in a short time frame?? The lady also asked me to switch off my car engine, we can sit there for 45 minutes yet she can't be near our engine when she tries to have a mothers meeting? I complained to Tesco who confirmed that the staff member should be serving two people however didn't say my 45 minute wait was unacceptable! and said they would give me a £10 coupon to shop there again... I don't think so !!!!!

Purchased a pay as you go sim, initial top-up was online, Tesco CS, when contacted will only accept security questions based on the phone account which failed to initiate as Tesco failed to issue the required Pin to allow the system to activate. When you apply to them they will not deal with you as they hide behind stating that its GDPR rules this is an insult to the general public by trying to state Tesco policy is GDPR they are not the same. They hide the fact that when you make such purchase they provide online payment via PayPal, this removes Tesco from requiring to issue any refund as you are no longer covered by the consumer act as PayPal are the paying customer, not you. To regain a refund from PayPal this involves you incurring call charges to the US or admin charges to return your monies, both Tesco and PayPal are aware that for refunds of monies £10-30 customers will not follow through as it cost more to get the monies back. This is a legal loophole and corporate scam which Tesco should clearly display and note on their online system as they offer no alternative other than PayPal even as a guest customer to pay. Tesco would not be a shop that I could recommend and ask shoppers to be aware of what Tesco don't print on the website. This site also limits your feedback as you can only select one area of previous communication I have used Live Chat, email, call and contacted the CEO all to no avail as they use the hidden GDPR mince and PayPal as their get out of refund clause, Has shopping really become so poor that corporate companies have resulted to what is basically obtaining monies through false pretences

I purchased the new pizza company meal deal £10 I expected it to be very similar to dominos but cheaper value as the brand and packaging looked really good. Except when we took it home and opened the pizza box it was not what it said on the packet. It states fully loaded pizza yet there was the smallest shaving of cheese that hardly even cover the pizza and the smallest amount of toppings that didn't cover quarter of the pizza. I wanted to take it back there and then but decided just to try it anyway. Well the meal did not get eaten it was awful a massive disappointment and con. I feel lied to. scammed.

I ordered my baby's milk powder on 1st Jan which was supposed to get delivered on 8th Jan evening. I got the text in the afternoon of 8th stating delivery window for my order. After couple of hours got a call from Bletchley store in Milton Keynes that they are not going to deliver my order. Not even tomorrow!! Called customer services and they said there was no delivery last night so store cancelled the order!! This is ridiculous. My baby's food has run out now and i have to rush to the store in this cold to get her milk powder. If Tescos are going to continue service like this, don't know how many customers will still use them? So, if you reallt want to buy something and get it delivered then tesco is not the place for you. They just play a game where there is no actual transfer of goods!! And yes they do charge for the delivery, then also they don't want to deliver- how nice!!

Since Tesco is trying to force their own pasta brands on customers I have no alternative but to go to another shop! Tesco pasta is absolutely rubbish! No way I'll buy those! Zero stars to Tesco. Same for the meat or fish counter they have. Not fresh at all and the fish section is mostly from frozen! Shame on YOU TESCO! RIP OFF!

Found a dead Cockroach in my fruit punnet. Absolutely disgusting and Tesco couldn’t care less.......makes me wonder what type of environment our food is prepared/packed in, because I know for sure it isn’t a clean one!

On numerous occasions I purchased supposedly fresh foods and found that the refrigerated truck had actually frozen the product. Tesco is going down hill and at the small stores charging a fortune. We where better off without you.

I ordered a delivery but unfortunately had a slip on the stairs as it arrived. The driver rang me, I explained and asked me if I needed an ambulance. I replied no . Within 5 mins I was laying on my sofa. The next thing I know I have 2 policemen and a paramedic walking into my up stairs lounge when the house was locked. How would you feel about that??? This was all as a result of Tesco! It happened on 13/11/18 but no answers to any questions raised. They claim they didn't break into my house but they rang the emergency services. What a waste of their time. I had 5 policemen here and a paramedic!!! The emergency services should sue them for wasting their time!! Nothing could get any worse I'll order my deliverer ids from elsewhere in the future!! Message is don't bother with Tesco online they just don't care about their customers.

I have ordered party sandwich platters to collect tomorrow . At 10am today they rang me to say they were not available and could not swap to different ones as I had missed the lead time they need for an order but it us ok to cancel my order when I now have no chance of ordering elsewhere. They suggested buying packets of sandwiches and cutting in half- that just added insult to injury. Remember just because you ordered it they do not have to keep their part.

I don't usually shop at tesco, largely because many items are over priced compared to the same products elsewhere. The last purchase I made only went to confirm this. I bought the tesco finest lasagne and cottage pie and both were absolute tasteless rubbish with the tiniest amount of meat in each of them. The lasagne was completely bland and the cottage pie had a herb crust which was the only taste in the dish, the layer of meat was miniscule and tasted of nothing. I rarely buy ready made meals but the comparable ones I have bought in Aldi for my mother in law have far far exceeded the tesco ones and were half the price!!!!

I ordered a mobile phone online and selected click and collect at the Rutherglen Extra store. Item was supposed to be ready for collection on Friday 21st December, after 3PM I went to the store at approx. 6PM on Friday. The item was not there and the staff were very confused and did not know where it was. The lady could only suggest that I call Tesco Customer Services. I called Customer Services at approx 7:45PM. Again the gentleman I spoke with was very confused and kept saying it’s not his department. He eventually said that the department that I need to speak to is now closed! He gave me a number to call for the correct department. On Saturday I called the number that I was provided. The lady I spoke with said that the item was sent out for delivery on Friday, but was rejected by staff at the Rutherglen store! She did not know the reason why it was rejected. She said that deliveries to store are not made at the weekends, so the next attempted delivery would be Monday the 24th of December, and this would probably be rejected again! I told the lady that this is completely ridiculous, the mobile phone is for sale in the Rutherglen store, I could have just bought it there anyway! She called the Rutherglen store to ask them if they would provide me with the phone, and return the online order if it did arrive. The Rutherglen store refused this request! I asked the lady to refund my money, and the £40 Clubcard vouchers used to purchase this item. Now I won’t see this money back into my bank account for 5 Business days. How long will that be at this time of year! So I managed to collect £40 Clubcard points this year, by doing the majority of my shopping in Tesco, but that’s it now, will never be going back to the Rutherglen store or any other! Thanks for ruining Christmas Tesco!

Too many old Indian women work at Glencoe Tesco. They are rude, and most don't have a clue about customer service. I really don't know how they get the job. They need to check the staff because they are not capable. It is poor service and getting unpleasant to go in to.

Tesco free from - Christmas cake mix. Following instructions I a ) Greased my tin, b) emptied dry ingredients in to bowl, went to empty dried fruit into bowl and realised it was DRY. I could barely squeeze a raisin so I soaked the fruit in the brandy for several hours to resuscitate it the proceeded to make the cake. After 55 mins I checked the oven and the cake was cooked. When it had cooled for 90 minutes I cut a little square from the bottom so that I could taste it, HORRIBLE, dry , tasteless and uninteresting, all the things a Christmas cake shouldn't be. My husband said it might be OK with a pint of custard poured over the top, but in fairness he'd eat just about anything with if custard accompanied it. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I'll use my own recipe in future.

The breakfast was unfit to eat. Not cooked properly and tasted disgusting. I left it behind, it was that bad. I am not a fussy eater but I do expect food to be cooked properly, I'm surprised no one's been ill.
