Not easy to get hold of the right department and when I made an ‘enquiry’ about my policy I was told that even though I had not made a claim on my policy it would affect next years premium as they had to take time to answer my questions. Won’t be using them again when my policy expires and certainly won’t recommend them to anyone.

MY PARTNER'S CAR WAS BADLY AMAGED BY A DOG CHASING A CAT. THE DOG OWNERS PET INSURANCE PAID FOR THE DAMAGE AT NO COST TO OUR INSURER. YET WHEN WE CHANGED OUR INSURANCE TO THE AA THIS YEAR WE WERE CHARGED EXTRA BECAUSE OF THE ACCIDENT. WE THINK THIS IS SO UNFAIR.

Had real problems getting through to cancel my membership when I sold my car and membership was automaticaly renewed and charged to my credit card! After 45 mins on hold spread over 3 separate attempts to get through, I eventually got through to the right department and the gentleman cancelled my membership without further incident, I initially set out to leave a terrible reveiw here whilst waiting for my call to be answered, however in hindsight it is fair to say that once I'd actually got through the call centre staff were eager to be as helpful as possible,. I have never had occasion to call out roadside assistance so cannot comment on this aspect of the service.

Home insurance not car. Did not need to claim for anything. Best value when took out policy a year ago. Significant rise in cost this year so did not renew. Nothing negative to say but no need to test their systems and services so nothing specially positive either.

I Broke down and I could not get my break down cover which was "Invictor Motors" so I managed to get in touch with you, it was along drawn out phone call on behalf of Tesco nice nature, and I was charged a lot of money from you, to get to a garage

Whil st stationary a car reversed into me. The AA were unable to recover the costs of repairs, I had 9 years noclaims whitch l did not have protected and have been penalised with the loss of 5 years noclaims. I am lost for words

They asked me to provide a lot of documents. It is the first time that I need to send all those papers to get an Insurance.

I took AA membership two years ago. This year I was busy with matters relating to moving house and did not attend to the automatic renewal of membership subscription to which I had apparently agreed. I was also slow to attend to documentation sent to me. I was aghast to note the price hike for membership. This seems to be the way they do business - they just take money and hope you won’t notice. I will never use them again.

Not able to add on another driver for a short temporary period, e,g couldn’t add my daughter onto insurance during a family emergency, will not renew with AA as result of this. Will return to a previous insurer where this was possible.

You have to phone them to tell them not to renew your insurance automatically which is irritating

The AA for me was the most disrespectful insurance provider I have ever had to deal with. Lack of communication and courtesy has put me off when it,s come to the AA. At the end of my term with them, I will take another insurance provider. Jp Butera

Always helpful on the telephone and efficient when needed for a clsim. however it is annoying when each year the premium goes up massively and it is only when you confront them that it is reduced considerably. Why don't the give you the lowest quote in the first instance - most annoying and time consuming.
