My rug wasn't cheap £100 constantly have to hoover around it, loose ends all Over, shouldn't be doing this still

Rug was poor cheap quality and not as described or as viewed by the picture. This to some extent I accept, however to refuse to pay for my return postage I find totally unacceptable. I am expecting a full refund. I have already advised other customers to avoid using your business

The delivery arrangements were not acceptable. Short notice, tried to contact UPS without success. E-mailed your company, no response. Came home at 11.30 pm to find a card through the door and searched in the dark to find the parcel, which could have been stolen. Will not deal with you again and will tell others of our poor experience.

Ordered a rug on 14/11/16 we are still waiting for it to be delivered. Still no emails to confirm when it will actually be delivered! Shocking service, would not recommend to anyone.

I recently purchased the Spectrum Limbo Multicoloured Rug from The Rug Seller. It looked lovely in the photo but the reality was a very poorly 'hand carved' rug. The carving around the pattern does not follow the design on the rug (unlike the picture of the rug on the website) which makes the rug look cheap and poorly finished. I asked if I could exchange the rug for a better finished replacement. The Rug Seller informed me that I could return it for a refund or exchange, but the cost of posting back the rug would be down to me. The director said that the rug could not considered faulty because it had been 'hand carved'. I do consider poor workmanship to be a fault, and the cost of returning a substandard product should not be down to the customer. Whether it had been finished by hand or machine, it should still reflect the standard of the advertised product, which it did not. I'm very disappointed by this company and would urge anyone purchasing a rug from them to factor in the potential cost of returning the rug into their decision before they purchase, because the cost will not be met by the Rug Seller.

My parents ordered a rug based upon the colours shown in images online. When the rug arrived the colours were different and the rug did not match their room. Despite several requests The Rug Seller refused to collect the rug or pay for it to be returned and my 90 year old father had to carry it to a Post Office and pay £12.85. We found The Rug Seller to be mean spirited and would not recommend them.

we ordered a rug, and they emailed us the confirmation of payment and delivery ,but after a couple of days they emailed us again that the rug was out of stock and never came... such a lost of time :( very dissapointed

Delivered incorrect item ( colour ) very abrupt intelling me that I had received the correct item and that I was wrong and that their managers agreed I had received the correct colour grey but I stated the item is brown was told that photo filters can show a different colour. I have just returned this shoddy item at my own expense £32.00

No communication following order. Order took longer than expected and when I phoned to find out what the delay was, they told me that one of the rugs I had ordered had been discontinued by the manufacturers. At this time, I had already bought curtains and furnishings to go with the rug, all this could have been avoided if they had contacted me with the information of the discontinuation rather than stick my order in the back burner. Very unprofessional, in fact, simply bad!

The rug is fine but delivery was deplorable. Because of UPS and the way we were mucked about I will never use your company again!!!!

Very disappointed with this company been let down the second time ordered a rug they had advertised as being in stock then received an email saying not in stock and would refund the money that's just time wasting and not acceptable I bought matching cushions and wall paper just to know I can't get the rug I was very upset just a waste of money would never recommend this company to anyone let down

The product, anti-slip underlay, was useless. The rug whose slippage it was meant to prevent moved just as much as before fitting. I have bought another product which has prevented any movement since being used.

Delivered the wrong rug. Gave incorrect information about the collection of wrong rug. Customer service don't call back when they say they will, some advisers don't know what they're doing. Customer service manager refused to help. Take no responsibility for their mistakes and offer no solutions to fix problems they have created. Terrible service. Avoid at all costs.

I purchased a rug at the cost of £250. When opened from it's packaging, it appears to be used and second hand with a unremovable stain, water marks, cigarette burns and chair or table marks. This is a real shock. I'm just waiting to find out how the company deal with this situation as I expect that will make all the difference. So far, this is most unacceptable and unusual and I would urge real caution before buying from this company. I will post to advise of the resolution to this problem.

Wrong rug sent but told I could only return it at my own expense! The rug I received was different in colour and style to the one I chose on the website. James in the customer service team told me that it was a handmade rug and they all differ in style - the website did not state anywhere that this is the case. I am appalled by this company and feel that their website is misleading, especially given all the recommendations they claim.

Iordered a rug at about 9.30am Friday 18th November, cost £159.99 incl `free' delivery. About five minutes later I saw exactly the same rug (same size) on Amazon for £144 so rang Rugseller to cancel my order. I saw an email to confirm the Rugseller delivery was booked (for Tuesday), but assumed it wouldn't happen as I had cancelled. In fact, the rug did arrive, Monday am! Since then I have been trying to get The Rugseller sales office to agree that I telephoned to cancel and to arrange return, but they say no proof of calling, no Sales lady remembers me ringing, so the return is for me to arrange and pay for!! I also forwarded the Amazon e mail to confirm I had bought the other (cheaper) rug! Why would I order and take delivery of two rugs?

I found a rug on this website that was much cheaper elsewhere. I asked them to honour their price promise but they refused.
