“I ordered a green rug. Was sent a cream/green rug which wasn't the right colour. Told I could return the rug but the postage was my responsibility! Unsatisfactory to say the least. I will be on Twitter and Facebook to express my opinion as to The Rug Seller. Will never use them again ever!”

From discussing this over the phone it was confirmed that you had actually received the Green Cream as ordered. The Cream/Green would have a Cream centre and the one you received was Green. We confirmed that a return could be made should it not suit the customers expectations.

“I purchased a rug by this company but once it came i realised the colour looked nothing like what it did in the picture. I then contacted the seller to arrange a return of the rug, i then told i'd have to arrange a courier to send it back to them and that it wouldn't be possible for a refund,just a credit note.And that i only had 7 days to return the rug starting from the day i received it or else it would be none refundable. As i had contacted the seller a couple of days after receiving the rug,this didn't give me long. The price of a the rug to be sent back to the seller via the courier is going to cost me £32 which is one of the cheaper quotes i came across.That is more than half of the price of the rug in the first place and is ridiculous. Very unhappy with this company. would not recommend.”

“1st rug arrived quickly, the expensive one still hasnt arrived even though its over a week and was told it would be weds delivery. Still waiting, inconvenient and you have our £750!!!!! Not impressed and would like someone to follow up asap”

“Unfortunately the rug has only been with us a week and already has stains from dirt on it that can't be got out. Sadly that was £50 not spent well as the carpet is now in the cupboard as looks unsightly in the hall.”

“Rug was nothing like the pictures very misleading. Then returning the rug, you have to cover the cost of postage and packaging! Which is ridiculous. Most companies do free returns, NEVER EVER using this company again and deterring everyone from using it. Very unhelpful, very unprofessional.”

“These people are a bunch of cowboys and liars, to be avoided!!! I bought a rug online for nearly £60 which was very poor quality. I sent it back but they REFUSED to refund my money, breaking all trading regulations. Take your business somewhere else.”

“I bought a "sheepskin" rug which felt and looked completely synthetic. I send it back and they are completely refusing to refund my money. The customer services person, Jason, was really very rude. i just want my money back. Seriously, don't buy rugs from this bunch of cowboys.”

“I ordered a rug from the rug seller however when it arrived on the friday the colour did not go with our room. I therefore contacted the sales team to proceed to return it. They got back to me 2 days later on the Monday at which time we had gone on holiday. I was told that the rug had to be returned to them by courier within 7 days (not working days !!) of receiving it. As I was on holiday there was no way I could do this and no flexibility for these circumstances was given. By the time the sales team got back to me with this information I had 2 days to return it or get no refund. Even when I arranged a friend to return it the cost was more than what I paid for the rug. The returns policy is very inflexible and the sales team very unhelpful I will not buy from them again or recommend them.”

“The rug didn't match photo on website either by quality or colour. It appears on web to be a natural colour - actually it is a quite a yellow/cream. The rug dispatched to me had several dark brown coarse threads runnning through the backing weave but showing through the top of the rug. I have emailed and waiting for a response re your returns policy as I do not feel the return postage should be at my expense for a faulty item.”

“It is advertised as a brown rug but in actual fact it is brown and gold. I rang up to complain that the colour was different than that on the picture and was told, very rudelt that if I wanted to return it I would have to pay for the return delivery charge.”

“Very unhappy with service. I ordered the rug. I then received an email saying it was out of stock and had been discontinued by manufacturers. I then went and bought another items for my daughter for xmas. The rug then arrived???? It was too late as I'd already bought other presents to replace it. Your company's inefficiency has meant that I will certainly not be recommending you to anyone else.”
