“I purchased a medium blonde expecting my hair to go a blonde colour. My hair went a copper colour, not even close to blonde. Not sure if I was sent the wrong colour as didn't check. Am not happy at all with The Shade and how it coloured my hair the wrong colour.”

Hi Sam, Sorry you didn't get the result you were looking for. We always recommend contacting one of our colourists when lightening by two colour levels, as lightening always reveals Natural Contributing Pigment (natural warmth) . “I was really disappointed with my order from the Shade. The incorrect colour was sent to me (dark ash brown) and I only realised it after I applied it to my hair, resulting in my turning a much darker shade than I wanted. I feel product control must be lacking.”

Hi Emma, I'm very sorry you were sent the incorrect colour. We will send you a bleach wash kit which will remove the darker pigment from your hair, and a replacement colour kit. Unfortunately one of our packers made a mistake by sending the incorrect colour. We will reiterate with the packer the absolute importance of packing the correct colour listed on the packing list. “The product is good. Smells great and I especially love the conditioner. My only two issues are the cost, which is a little high and how long it takes to receive the order once shipped. I also found that when I have applied the product in the way suggested as a "touch up" rather than total colour change the grey coverage did not last. It seems the colour needs to be on longer. In regards to cost perhaps we could simplify packaging and just be sent product on its own.”

“I love this product and subscribing is convenient, but the frequency of the product coming to too quick - I would prefer every 3 months, not every 2 months. I find it a very inflexible arrangement.”

“Dear team, I have tried to cover the grey hairs and followed the directions for use as per the instructions - I still have not and cannot get the grey hairs on the side of my head covered. My hair is pulled back daily and I have become used to having the greys exposed. I would appreciate some guidance on how to get the greys covered for a long period. Max after a week or less its back.
