“With Akl being at L4 lockdown, we thought we'd place an order with The Warehouse for some essential items like toilet rolls, etc.
We put through an order on Fri 27 Aug for 42 items.
From Mon-Thurs we started receiving several small packages. There was no delivery today Fri 3 Sep and only half the order has been delivered so far.
Someone mentioned below that their order was shipped from various w/hse locations around the country (??). Well that has happened in my case also...so far my order has come from Manukau, Pukekohe, Whangarei, Rangiora, Wgtn, Chch & Invercargill. What a waste of resources/shipping/courier costs for the w/hse but luckily I only paid $5 for delivery.
I'm quietly giggling as to where the next shipment is coming from and hopefully the toilet paper can be crossed off my list. I've not contacted the warehouse yet, as I know the staff & other essential businesses/couriers are tirelessly working around the clock especially with the increase of online orders and so I thank you for your invaluable service.
I patiently await to see what arrives tomorrow (or the coming days) and from where.

“Sustainability
It's no knowledge freeze that the Warehouse imports the majority of its products from China.
China has the largest carbon footprint of CO2 emissions by a long way, on our planet.
Yet the Warehouse seems to feel it's ok to advertise itself as having a 'Sustainability focused' business model.
I used to shop at the Warehouse myself, but having had to returned so many products due mainly to poor quality, the original reason for shopping there became uneconomical.
The Warehouse is not an ethical company by any stretch of the imagination.”
“We bought clothing for my husband. Sadly 3 of the items didnt fit . I took them back this morning and was told the could not give my money back as they had some hair on them. Now I have a little dog , but if the watehouse still supplied bags for the clothes we buy, this would never have happened. I said I wanted my money back and was treated very rudely. I broke down in tears and made a fool of myself and after getting very upset the manager then said give her money back. I am disgusted with the way I was treated and after many many years of shopping at the warehouse , I WONT BE BACK.”

“I just had a really bad experience in the warehouse in Fraser cove Tauranga. My little girl fell and got a nosebleed, no one helped me what so ever. Only got some looks which made me feel like I just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible!
