“I am happy to have found Tippsy, from which I can obtain decent sake even if they are a bit overpriced. The company did deliver safely what I ordered. I do see, however, a lot of room for improvement.
First, while they claim to ship the products in a matter of 2-3 days, it actually took over a week before they shipped my order despite that everything I had ordered was in stock.
Second, the delivery also took longer than what they described on their homepage. By tracking the shipment, I learned that my order was sitting for two full days at UPS's local facility.
Third, they boast of qualify control during the delivery, mentioning, in their mail confirmation of the order, temperature-controlled tracks during summer. However, if anything like that is indeed done is questionable, at least in my case, which involved sake needing refrigeration but the box arrived warm.
They should immediately stop telling the customers anything that is untrue or unrealizable.
Forth, the communication via text messages is quick enough, but customer service via e-mail is very slow in response and their responses are prefunctory.
I'm sure some of these problems can be immediately solved if they endeavor to, which I hope they do. I hope that I will be more motivated to return to Tippsy with these improvements made.”

As someone who is constantly pushing nice sake on all my friends, colleagues, and random people I meet (haha), and someone who is trying to break down the mindset of it only being enjoyed with Japanese food (I've served it at Thanksgiving dinner, with tacos, with steak frites, etc.!) - I really want to support a company that is supporting the promotion of widespread appeal of sake. I think back to some years ago when it was weird to bring some IPAs to a party - but now IPAs are so ubiquitous. While I'm not sure if sake will reach the same heights as IPAs (one can hope!), I see the trend of sake becoming a normal, regular drink for a wide range of occasions - and I see Tippsy on the forefront of this!”
