“toronto blooms delivered a predated order for valentine’s day at almost 9pm on valentine’s day. when i emailed to inquire about tardiness there was no response and the phone number listed does not even connect (no ringing) and cuts off.
what’s more, when the bouquet did arrive some flowers were wilted and some stalks slightly bent. major disappointment.
i will not be ordering from toronto blooms again and would not recommend this service/ business if getting what you ordered on time is something that is important to you.”
“I have ordered a product with a beautiful letter but i got the cheap wrong product with no letter. These guys are scammers and fooling their customers.”
“My boyfriend ordered me flowers for Valentines Day requested delivery on February 14th and they were delivered on the 13th to my office at 5PM. So disappointing. Their reasoning was they had too many orders and to prevent them from being late they delivered at 5pm the night before. If you take on too many orders hire more employees if you cant deliver the time requested advise the client don't just take it upon yourself to decide a woman would want VDay flowers on Feb 13. Lastly, the card on the outside said "Love you Ethan" I have no idea who Ethan is. I later found out it was the delivery man. Why on earth would they write his name in marker on the the card right beside the Love You? Horrible horrible experience DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!”
“I ordered a chocolate raspberry cake from Toronto Blooms (I was looking for this flavor specifically as this is the birthday person's favourite). But I was disappointed that it was substituted with chocolate vanilla cake without advanced notice. Despite expressing my dissatisfaction, there was no acknowledgement of the inconvenience caused. This lack of customer service and transparency in communication is concerning. Future customers, be cautious of potential substitution at Toronto Blooms.”
“Hey, don't order at all at Blooms Toronto. They will ruin your surprise. I just ordered sunflowers for a bay who is called Sun (in another language) and Blooms Toronto delivered the uglies roses they had on the store. And when i complained about this, they wanted proofs. This is ridiculous, how can't they check the order and match it with their delivery? But instead they just waste your time hoping that you'll give up.”
“PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered a $150 Christmas centerpiece (photos included) that was supposed to include candles (plural), roses, pine cones, chrysanthemums, and holiday-themed ornaments gathered in a metal tin. The arrangement my mother-in-law received is nothing at all like described or pictured.
While I understand some types of floral might not be available as advertised, that doesn't explain why there was one stubby candle instead of two tapers, no holiday ornaments at all, rather unattractive plaid bows, and cheap carnations instead of more quality blooms warranting the hefty price tag.
When I reached out to Toronto Blooms' customer service, they sent me this rubber-stamped response:
Due to the high volume of orders being processed, we are not always able to contact customers ahead to advise them of substitutions. By placing an order you accepted our terms and conditions, and thus agreed that the order may consist of products that differ from the original product description. Furthermore, you agreed that you are not entitled to refunds or compensation under such circumstances, as per our refund policies: "NOT AS DESCRIBED & SUBSTITUTIONS - Where a package is 'not as described on our website' and/or we have substituted item(s) in a gift/gift basket that are in compliance with our 'substitution policy'."
Essentially, they use their terms and conditions to get away with highway robbery, and customer satisfaction is nowhere on their spectrum when it comes to doing business. Be smarter than I was and order from anywhere else.”
“I generally don’t leave a negative review but this site deserves one such.
1.The delivered item is NOT as shown in the picture (not even a 50% match).
2. The price is too expensive for the actual item delivered.
3. The delivery time is unknown and they do not mention about standard delivery timings while placing the order but during the order tracking.
The Birthday gift was delivered around 7PM which we expect to be delivered atleast my midday. So they don’t prioritise the deliveries based on the occasion.
For this pathetic service they charged 20$ fee with tax gor DELIVERY. INSANE…
4. The customer line never connects. I tried atleast 20 times at different hours and dates but no use.
5. The live chat gives you the same pre-defined answer for any sort of question.
The total experience is a disaster.”
“I placed an order for same day, as the calendar was still allowing me to choose same day delivery. Within 15 minutes, I found out I could not receive same day delivery. I asked for them to cancel my order, as I required the flowers for this evening. I was told that they would not and could not do so (even though it was in 15 minutes of placing the order). I then asked for a credit at least for the same value, where then I could use the credit for when I required flowers in the future; again a no.
When I requested to speak to a manager or supervisor, my customer care representative told me that no, they would not escalate it. I am a Sales Manager myself and I understand that there is always someone in a superior position you could speak to. I decided to change my address of delivery, since I will not be at the same place tomorrow, and asked about and ETA of delivery and again if I could speak to a senior. My questions were IGNORED.”
“*AVOID* *AVOID* *AVOID* I recently had an unfortunate experience with them.. Despite paying extra for a prompt flower delivery, my order was never delivered. What made the situation even more distressing was the poor customer service I encountered when trying to resolve the issue. They offered no proof of delivery and the CCTB shows no delivery was attempted in the said day. The customer service representative was unhelpful and dismissive, which added to my disappointment. In hindsight, I wished I had read the company's reviews before placing my order. This experience is litteraly daylight robbery.”
“I sent an expensive floral arrangement in a wooden wagon & wine for a housewarming present to friends out of town (Waterloo). I also paid almost $20 for delivery.
The box arrived wet with big hole in it - the courier delivered it on its side.
The flowers were soaked & some blooms had to be discarded as a consequence. My friends had to leave it outside to dry it was so bad.
When I wrote an email of complaint, with pictures to prove my case, I was summarily dismissed & told I did not qualify for any refund or further action on my case.
What a complete lack of customer care and respect for their client! Toronto Blooms should be will not stand behind their product or service - don't use them!”
“Should have read the reviews, do not buy from these people. Husband sent flowers to a new mum friend, five days later support finally picks up phone only to rudely say they know nothing. Sent a photo of proof that package was left at the door however it was never received. Delivery company didn't even ring the doorbell or call the cell phone specified to let the receiver know they had a package. Terrible service! Rude and should not be in business.”
