It's a good alternative to traditional meditation. I think I need to practice for a longer period to really get into it.

I didn't know when I started that it would require two sessions a day of approximately 30 minutes each. It is complicated for me to fit this into my life. I will meet with my mentor soon and find out what the reason for this is. I need to modify a bit.

I have been meditating 100% since learning. I’m finding it easy to fit it into my schedule. I think I’m finding some more commitment and relaxation but I can’t say things are radically better. Definitely not worse and I’m proud that I’m doing it twice each day.

The technique is very easy; but the practice of getting the mind to settle is difficult. After 3 months of twice-daily meditation, I feel quite discouraged---but refuse to give up.

Hi Gale, The TM technique is meant to be an effortless practice, so there's no need to settle the mind. We suggest scheduling a free follow-up with your TM teacher to discuss your experience and fine tune your practice so that it's truly easy and more enjoyable for you :)

There is no mastery needed with the TM technique. If you are finding it difficult in some way or not enjoying your practice, we suggest scheduling a free follow-up with your TM teacher to discuss your experience and fine tune your meditation :)

I have been practicing TM since November 17, 2018, twice a day, 20 (+) minutes each time, for a total of 46 hours as of this review. My experience with each meditation has been inconsistent but overall 'good'. I appreciate TM technique.

I am under tremendous stress at the present time, but TM has helped me let the stress move through my mind and I am dealing with life's stressors as they come, with joy and grace. Having a deep sense of faith in God and his goodness also has helped me. Ellie
