With over 60 years of teaching the TM technique worldwide, we've seen time and time again how important a follow-up session can be. Often the benefits are noticeable right away, but occasionally it can take some time. It's great you'll be meeting with your TM teacher soon. The checking in could have been a bit more intriguing. John was good but over all the experience was lacking something for me. I hope my practice continues to bloom with time. I will say the money that’s mixed with spirituality is a turn off for me but I do understand the need. Also offering advanced techniques for additional money feel off to me. My vipassna training was 10 days room and board, amazing food and a lifetime of being able to volunteer at any site around the world. This seems to be a much better model for spiritual techniques. Just my 2 cents.

“I was a skeptic but no matter how hard my mind tried to fight me on the whole idea that this would work, it’s starting to work. I’ve only been doing it for a little over a week and I was in the worst mental state ever at my first session. Negative thinking is a habit and I am at a point where I feel like my negative thoughts want to pull me back but there’s something else pulling me in the other direction telling and not allowing me to fully listen to the negative thinking. It’s a great feeling. I used to wake up trembling on the inside with fear of just everything. If less than 2 weeks has made this drastic of a change, can you imagine a few more month, years, decades!
