“Everyone should try this technique. It is simple yet immensely powerful. Western science is just learning how the mind-body connection works. This ancient technique can be a powerful tool to avoid many of the modern-day diseases stemming from us trying to control our minds which is counterintuitive. As the mind is already too busy with information overload. TM was highly effective for me to help in freeing my mind and I am incredibly happy with the positive influence it has had on my body. I was unknowingly holding onto stresses in my body which just melted away. I was a skeptic saying I am not sure i have the time as I have too many things to do. But even after taking the time out for meditation I am getting more work done as I dont feel as tired as before, my sleep is better and feel much more stronger overall mentally and physically. “I feel like the videos, and the classes are very repetitious, and there was only one opportunity to work in person with a teacher. None of the online courses was reviewed during the zoom sessions. And again, all of the videos just were repetitious, and there was no opportunity to ask questions about the process after the first few days. My "check-in" isn't for another week, so I don't get to ask personally relevant questions and only have written resources now. It's not very reassuring for the money spent.”

- improved memory
- an inclination to be more present, especially in conversation with others
- little to no stress/anxiety in a few situations that historically have caused this (business meetings, negotiation, etc.)

“It's wonderful bow the emphasis on ease in learning TM makes it so. I've noticed my mind is inclined to complicate things, keeping chaos active and the mind busy doing its gyrations of increasing complexity to make evident its marvelous skills. There it goes again! Doing TM allows for the gentle favoring of the mantra. At one point in one of my first few meditations, I watched myself 'throw' the mantra at a thought that came loudly to mind. It had the effect of overpowering the thought and silencing it yet left me with a sense of effort. Back to ease and taking it as it comes I returned. I'm bringing that ease into my active state more. I get the feeling this is an evolving practice as no two sessions are alike.”

“I think it’s personal and likely effects each person differently. I have had small success but am not happy overall as I am not seeing any lasting effects. Also the devotion to 20 min 2x daily has increased my anxiety as it is not always possible to do and then I feel guilt about not meeting the expectations. Something for me to work on personally, but I wish the practice itself didn’t have to be so regimented.”

We're sorry you're not happy with your TM practice! We wanted to remind you, there is no pressure to meditate 20 min, twice a day. That is the recommended daily routine to experience the maximum results . However, if it is difficult for you to fit two practices each day, it's ok to meditate once a day, and work up to fitting in two if you'd like to.
