“I would like to file a complaint regarding my booking.
My original return flight was scheduled for June 9. Due to multiple flight schedule changes, I followed the options provided through the Traveloka system and changed my return flight to June 10. The system only allowed me to move the flight within one day of the original booking date, so June 10 was the option I selected.
However, it appears that someone using an email address that does not belong to me changed my booking from June 10 to April 10. I believe this may have been done by an agent or staff member, as I have never requested such a change and the email address shown is not mine.
I only discovered this issue when I arrived at the airport to check in for my return flight to Thailand. At that point, I could not make any corrections because the booking had already been changed in the airline’s system.
When I contacted Traveloka, I was told to purchase a new ticket first and that the case would be investigated afterward. However, I have not received any meaningful update or resolution so far.
Please help me understand how this could happen. All of the booking information, confirmations, and documents sent to me by Traveloka consistently showed my return flight as June 10. If my booking had actually been changed to April 10, why did the Traveloka app continue to display June 10 the entire time?
Furthermore, I traveled from Thailand to Japan on June 5 using the outbound flight from the same booking. How is it possible that my return flight was changed to April 10, nearly two months before I even departed for Japan? This simply does not make sense.
This situation was not caused by me. I followed the instructions provided through the Traveloka system, and all evidence in my possession shows a return flight date of June 10. I urgently request a full investigation and a clear explanation of what happened, as well as a fair resolution to the damages and additional expenses I have incurred as a result of this issue.”
“they told me name change is not possible and insisted that i cancel a non-refundable flight and rebook. Didnt make sense so i called the airlines directly. one airline agreed to change the name and did it free of cost , that was scoot! Well managed. Other was indigo- another nightmare like traveloka. they kept saying that name change is possible but traveloka has to do”

“It is unbelievably disappointing on how Traveloka poorly manages a simple case of ‘Forget Password’ of mine.
Traveloka could not explain why my simple request could not be processed.
After dragging more than two days, its customer support team kept sending same responses saying the case is pending confirmation from its internal team, without any constructive progress.
My email request for a tel number to speak with a supervisor was turned down and it asked me to call general line which is pre-programmed and only managed by AI with no possibility to interact with human.
Absolutely unacceptable or undesirable.. it is better to avoid Traveloka altogether!”

DO NOT BOOK WITH TRAVELOKA- Cannot contact them when need to, email address bounces back in a foreign language and when put into ChatGPT translates to the inbox hasn’t been used since March 2025, the AI bot is completely useless, it does not answer any questions outside of a very select few. Contact number doesn’t connect. Put in a refund request it was rejected without further investigation. Absolute scammed out of almost $500. Do not use this company.”

I booked a flight to Gold Coast, and after 4 hours,Jenny the agent called me saying there was a price difference of $41, so I had to pay it as they couldn’t proceed with the original price. They said they would give me an hour to decide and then call me back.
I waited, but they never called. So, I called them within that one hour to pay the difference. Shockingly, they had no idea about the flight I had booked. Then, an hour later, the same agent who first spoke to me called again and said I needed to pay the $41, and she would send me a link. I waited for the link, but after another hour she called again, this time saying the flight price had increased further and now I had to pay $78!!!
Seriously?! What kind of customer service is this? If the agent had called me back within the first hour as promised, the price wouldn’t have changed.
This site is a scam!!!”

“❌ Terrible customer support and unethical refund policy
I made a simple booking mistake and contacted Traveloka within minutes to correct the destination. Despite being a Platinum customer, they refused to offer any flexibility or goodwill. They insisted on keeping 25% of the total fare — even though no service had been used and the mistake was immediately reported.
I was passed around to more than 4 different support agents, and all of them just repeated the same scripted answers. Not a single one was willing to escalate the issue or connect me with a senior person. It was clear they had no real intention to help.
This is not the first time we’ve lost money because of Traveloka’s rigid and inflexible refund/change policies. Other platforms like Trip.com provide free cancellations and genuinely care about customer satisfaction.
I do not recommend using Traveloka. If you value fairness, flexibility, and proper service, choose another platform. I will never use Traveloka again and will strongly advise others to avoid it too.”
