I am deeply frustrated and disappointed by the lack of explanation for my account deactivation and the subsequent failure to resolve this issue despite my diligent efforts to seek clarification and support. Firstly, I want to emphasize that, as a dedicated Uber eats driver, I have always prioritized the safety and satisfaction of my customers. My commitment to providing excellent service is evident through my consistently high ratings and the absence of any passenger complaints. Therefore, it is particularly disheartening to be subjected to deactivations without any justifiable reason or proper explanation. Despite my attempts to present some evidence and engage with your support team to rectify the situation, I have encountered significant barriers in having my account reactivated. The promises made by your support personnel to resolve the issue have proven empty, as my account remains deactivated, causing undesirable financial hardship for me and my family. With no reasonable explanation for the repeated deactivations and the evidence available to prove my innocence, I feel compelled to take further action. I kindly request that you provide me with a prompt and detailed explanation for the deactivation of my account. reactivate my account without any further delay. If these requests are not met, kindly be advised that I am prepared to take this matter to court to seek legal recourse and ensure that my rights are properly protected. I trust that it will not come to such measures and that Uber eats, as a well-established and reputable company, will demonstrate its commitment to fairness, justice, and providing opportunities to loyal drivers like myself. It is my ardent hope that this appeal receives immediate attention and that my account will be reactivated promptly. I am eagerly awaiting your prompt response and resolution of this matter.Thank you for your attention to this pressing issue.

They do not mention anything about cancellation charge and take a hefty amt as cancellation charge once you confirm the cancellation. Their customer support is a joke

My daughter was forced to pay almost $30 three times, which she did not owe, from a food delivery order even though an account supervisor apologized for repetitive irrelevant responses and advised he was on top of the matter, which was never resolved. He even stated in his message he would not let us down. I stayed on top of the issue for over a year with no results. The customer service was terrible and I never got my money back. The other aspect I did not appreciate is that we thought the matter was resolved but when my daughter ordered an Uber ride they would not let her use the service until she paid the almost $30 charge even though technically she did not owe the money. Please be careful.

Wrong orders and cold food. If you complain they will send you an automatic message.

Uber eats is the worse. Never using Uber again. I had a duplicated order and was charged for a cancelation fee. Won't recommend. Please use other apps. There are times I would request a cab, the price is ridiculous as well. I have someone else request for the same trip and on their app it was cheaper with the same uber app. So weird but Lyft is much cheaper.

Literally any other service is better. They constantly cancel orders after having you wait for an hour or more and don’t care about your time. I would zero stars if I could.

UE can take their $5 tip and insert it firmly up their poop chute. Rude and pathetic service. Tries to trick you into their UberOne program. FAIL !!

I would give zero stars if I could. Uber Eats is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. They are absolutely infuriating. Their customer service is horrific and basically useless. Dealing with them can literally drive you to the edge and raise your blood pressure. It’s like a bad movie/ surreal. I recently had a food safety issue. My food was delivered uncovered, and unsealed. Completely exposed. Obviously I didn't feel safe about eating that so I had to throw it out, but first I took some photos to submit. I spoke with literally eight different Uber Eats agents over the phone, …..none of them could help me. They kept telling me that a mysterious “specialized department” would contact me by email. ( I truly do not think that department even exists.) I was not contacted. I called yet again. The phone agents have literally no ability to solve your problem, get you a refund or do anything. They just pass the message along to the mysterious department that you are not allowed to speak with. No case #, no ticket or claim #. You are basically at their mercy so they can blow you off. The next agent told me he would escalate it and guaranteed that the specialized team would email me within two hours. That never happened. So then I called again for what seemed like the 10th time and the next agent told me that the previous agent gave me false information and that they “shouldn’t have said that”. Then I was told I would be contacted within six hours. Never happened. I called again for about the 11th time and finally spoke with an agent who said “actually your issue is “not eligible for a refund.”— WTF? If food safety is not eligible for a refund, then what is? There is literally no one to speak with. The mysterious “specialized department” never contacts you. Uber Eats is a company that wears you down until you give up, so that they can literally steal your money. Which is exactly what they did. I basically threw $45 into the garbage can. I have canceled my account and deleted the app. I will never, ever do business with them again. They should be sued and I hope they go bankrupt. Truly Evil.

I have never used uber eats... and now given what transpired I do not believe I every will, that's too bad, for you. i will take my business somewhere else. Here is what happened: I ordered from wine rack, no problem the gentleman showed up with the product, by account wans credited, no problem, little high price for the convenience but that's ok. Next he gets a text message that the order got cancelled yet I did not do it, in fact I was outside chatting with him while he waited. Another guy was apparently on his way with uber eats order back to be, I understand things happen and i waited. Only not to hear a thing about it again. I chatted with uber eats customer service rep, who has cleared things up and told that she will put into my uber eats account monet and extra too to pay for my inconvenience. I am learning my lesson, that She will add some uber cash on top of what i paid for the order to compensate me for the trouble. Few days later, I see another credit for the exact amount, I call the customer service rep is trying to tell me the bank did that and I should speak with them. What a load of bs. Save your money, never order from uber eats. I just moved to town, thought it would be cool to try it. I have learned a bitter lesson.

My driver got pulled over by police. Then couldn't find my location. Canceled the order twice. Said she was at my location twice. Then you can't advise Uber of this.

I ordered from ubereats from Wendy's, git a order delivered and wasn't even close to what I ordered, cost 41.90.. I told the delivery guy that wasn't what I ordered, so he left the order on the step and went back to Wendy's so he said, I called Wendy's and he didn't go back there so they told me to contact uber, so uber said to order again, and I did, this time was right and was 43.90. I got charged 41.90 the first time which I didn't even get the order wasn't even close, I asked for a refund and they told me I got both orders, I DID NOT RECEIVE 2 ORDERS OF BURGER COMBOS WITH WATER, THE FIRST ORDER WAS 2 CHICKEN THINGS WITH A POP, THAT WAS 41.90??? BULL!!

App is clunky. As for the service it is terrible and don’t expect a refund if something isn’t delivered as Uber eats will deny and refuse any contact finally dumping you and hiding behind some arbitration.

Uber Eats screws over their drivers continuously. There is no way for a driver to know how much they'll actually be paid for a job prior to taking it. Uber shows an amount that's higher than what it may actually be. Uber took most of the money from a drop-off I did recently as they said I didn't complete it. Their GPS tracking, phone records, and conversation with the customer all show otherwise. A system glitch on their end prevented the ride from being "completed" on screen, so it wouldn't close it out. A few dollars taken from a million drivers will add up to millions in extra revenue for Uber. Was their computer glitch accidental or intentional as an avenue to take what isn't theirs? Don't be naive; large companies operate like this. I deleted my account after they wouldn't release my funds. Theft is theft. I hope some AI societal wide change puts them out of business and bankrupts them in the future. I've noticed that when large corporations steal there is little to no recourse for the people who were stolen from. Luckily, I never supported their ride service and I never will. If you're thinking of using them as a side hustle, I'd say become their competitor instead. Start your own thing locally via social media and keep all the profits yourself.

Where do they get their drivers from? lazy they don't want to get out of the car one have to go and look for the food in their vehicles, they don't know how to read the GPS, and they leave the food in front of other people's houses I can keep going on and on and now like that is not enough they don't speak English!
