I went to make order it was a buy one get one the price $16.95 never hit the order button and now I’m getting the order and it is $35.00. And to top it off I couldn’t cancel my order which I tried to do instantly within a second if supposed order that I never confirmed. What a scam

I've been trying for 2 days to resolve an issue with uber eats with NO SUCCESS customer service is very uninformed and will tell you anything. I've called at least 10 times and haven't heard from anyone VERY UNPROFESSIONAL Will never advise anyone to use

Extremely bad service.. they make no effort to resolve your issues.. Just scripted messaged sent over and over again.. I have been charged twice for an order that was never delivered.. absolutely disgusting..

I keep getting 'Sorry to hear...' response instead of a solution. I have sent multiple emails and messages on the app and nothing has been done. My messages on the Facebook page keeps getting deleted. Friday, 4 / 10/ 2024, was the second time I did not receive my order. I messaged the driver, who read my messages but did nor respond. I tried phoning the driver and my call was not accepted. Then shortly after he had the audacity to mark my order as delivered and Uber Eats refuses to sort it out and refund me. My order was from Shawarma and Grill Gape Town, Long Street. This is unethical and theft. Details of the driver in image.

Absolutely ridiculous how long my food took, original time was suppose to be 30 minutes and it ended up being 2 hours later, I did not say anything to drive about it but he said an employee at Wawa told him my food had been sitting there for awhile and the driver said to me ‘sorry if it’s cold’

The drivers dont show up with your orders and you cant get refunded of your money especially if it is an big order I will never use them again

No their drivers won’t deliver the food. Today the Chinese restaurant I ordered from had to call Uber personally because they had multiple drivers show up to pick up the same order she called to cancel order. The restaurant ended up delivering themselves. As a customer you have no way of directly contacting Uber eats and speaking to someone

Deliver driver ran away with my food and uber support refuse to accept it. I had to reorder the same order to eat that night. Uber eats still taking driver's side even though they have clear evidence that the driver is a cheater. Be very careful when you give money to this app.

NASTY company! Danger! I ordered dinner for 5 people, it came early and the driver never called to tell me that he was there earlier. I went outside as soon as I saw he was there and my food was gone. He had and just left it outside on a Lisbon street. Uber flatly refused to refund my costs. I was fully robbed twice in just one experience. Find another way to order food. I promise you that you won't be sorry.

I had used this app many times in the last few months, with varied results. Today, a vendor charged me for 4 of an item, but only provided me one of them. When I went on the app to report the issue, I got some wise advice from the rep who told me I needed to wait up to ten days for a refund to show up at my financial institution. I deleted the app immediately and am sorry I ever heard of them. Goodbye to my money!

Absolutely sucks. No customer service phone number for ordering customers. Tried to order from wing stop 5 times. Asked me to pick 20 sauce's for the boneless wing bundle. Would only allow me to pick 16 and won't process my order.

I made an order and canceled it quickly after I submitted it. I then resubmitted the same order, but with added items. I was charged for the canceled order. The customer service chat is awful. They kept sending scripted responses that my order did not qualify for a refund because the restaurant had already started making the order. I don't have an issue with paying for the second order, which we received. I do, however, take issue with being charged for items I did not receive. I do not hold this against the driver or the restaurant. The driver was efficient and the food was good.

Had an issue with my order, customer service doesn't exist. I live in apartment complex, apparently because it says it was delivered my pin, no further follow up is required. I can't follow up after the fact because they consider it resolved. Ridiculous. Have emailed support, which doesn't look it's designed for this type of enquiry. So far no response. Delete the app. Use anyone else.

I have been an Uberone subscriber for a couple of years. The discounts are ok, nothing to really brag about so I’ve been continuing my membership only because of convenience. Today, unfortunately I had a terrible experience when I placed an order from Dominoes pizza because of the discount. The order came up to $30 bucks. As I was placing the order I realized that I had it going to my address instead of my mothers while it was processing so I immediately looked for an option to edit the address but it wasn’t there so I immediately canceled the order. I was charged the whole amount and even though I explained my reason through chat they were completely rude and unprofessional with AI generated responses. No help so I immediately cancelled my membership. Warning stay away.

I was supposed to get a double whopper with bacon A double cheeseburger meal and a long chicken sandwich meal what I got was three drinks and that’s it when I called Uber to get a refund they told me there’s nothing they can do after speaking to four different employees somebody randomly call me back and say they don’t have the option to give me my refund about $30 no food and no refund how is that fair? I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else I’ve been an Uber one member for the past three years and this never happened before I need to know who I need to speak to so they can resolve this because this is not OK .

Uber eats did a great job. I was disappointed in Outback Steakhouse. I had a wonderfully prepared meal. Once again, no fork for my food, no napkins, and no salt and pepper. I’m at work and don’t have access to these items.
