As a manager of a shop If I knew on the begging that was the way they worked I will never work with them so we recived one order on uber as normal for plaice and chips we cooked we waited for the driver named Harm Johannes he took the order and the customer never recived that order so thats mean or the driver delivered to a wrong house or he eat it, we try to call uber not even english they can speak and mistakes like this they take the money from my account, what is annoying.. and the prices are very expensive on the app because they all scammers if u made 600 on uber they get 200 something on fees plus the VAT.. Keep going down..

My co-workers and I order lunch and it was stolen by the driver. So now we are hungry and afraid to place another order with Uber Eats.

I made an order from Wendy’s…I made contact with the driver that informed me that Wendy’s wasn’t able to fill half the order…he gave me the option to cancel from his end and I said yes…next thing I know there’s another driver showing they are going to pick the order up…I messaged that driver several times telling them there would not be an order to deliver…she did not answer so I cancelled it from the app…NOW IM BEING TOLD BY CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT THEY WILL NOT REFUND ME LITERALLY ANY OF THE $30…SO NOW I AM $30 SHORT WITH HUNGRY KIDS TO FEED!!!!…I WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE EVER AGAIN

I am Luthando ordered on your app on the 5th of may never recieved what i ordered but you deduct my money till today no refund how will i order again from you while i was promised on 3 to 5 business day?

I was tooken advanced of, my driver asked for my pin and I had no knowledge that I wasn't spose to give it to him till my food was delivered! So definitely learned my lesson lost my money and didn't receive my food! Honestly I'm never using this service again! And wonder why people like jobs like this cause they can still from people! Hope they enjoyed my family's meal! I will never trust a Uber eats driver again!

I ordered a food delivery - after awaiting for the food for a long while, no food was delivered to me. I when looking at the app, I realised that the driver uploaded a picture of my order: she was holding the food in front of my door. Unfortunately, there was no food there. The notification said that the driver had both waited for 7 minutes in front of the door and tried to call me with no response. For such reason I was granted no refund. This despite me not hearing anyone knocking at the door (while being alone in a quiet property, with no background noise and aparently having someone trying to reach me for 7 minute straight while waiting outside) and not having any missed call or call notification on my phone. I contacted the customer service, explained the situation, and they refused to refund the order on the gound that, I quote, "The delivery partner followed our policy and waited the required amount of time at the delivery address before marking the order as completed". I asked several times explanation how they verified whether the driver had actually knocked at my door and actually tried to call me, as they claimed but no explanation was offered (please see the avoidant replies). After that the chat was closed. I will delete the app today - not a serious business.

The driver didn't listen to instructions, instead of leaving food at the door he kept asking kids at home for pin code, we never received pin code. The driver was struggling to comunicate in English he only kept saying pin code. Apparently the food was left somewhere on the street as the order was marked delivered eventhough he refused to give the food and he left with food. Uber refused to give a refund.

I placed a grocery order and ordered sweetest batch strawberries ($6+) which is much more expensive than regular strawberries ($4). The shopper gave me regular strawberries and Uber eats still charged me the price of sweetest batch without refunding the difference. Rep was very irresponsible. Customer service was nonexistent.

Terrible platform for Uber Eats Drivers. Customers give thumbs up or thumbs down for the delivery and you need to have 19 thumbs up in order to cover just one thumbs down. Due to platform’s own issues, late driver assignments and so on every issue seems like drivers and they pay the price. Terrible experience as a driver.

I’m done ordering from Uber eats. On too many occasions the drivers have stated that my food was delivered and it wasn’t. Then Uber stated I couldn’t get a refund because the status was it was delivered. I think the drivers or Uber Eats are stealing. So I just deleted the app.

Terrible no customer service was told what I wanted wasn’t available after I payed and then was told I can’t be refunded it’s a full on scam this is the second time it has happened to me never again deleting

I would have put zero stars yesterday I ordered a three-piece combo from Popeyes with mashed potatoes and Coca-Cola and then I ordered an additional medium Coca-Cola with a driver came. He gave me one Coca-Cola. I asked the driver where’s my other soda. He said they did not give it to him, but I paid for it on top of this I contacted customer service and they did not give any refund to the items missing. I only received a two piece meal with one Coca-Cola and no mashed potatoes but yet I paid for a three piece and an extra soda and mashed potato and they could verify with the driver that I was missing items from my order and I got no refund for what was missing.

Don’t use Uber eat! This is really unbelievable bad service. I ordered food yesterday what never came. After contacting Uber they told me that the delivery guy came and we didn’t answer. The address was correct and nobody called at the door or at my phone and they refuse to give you back your money. This is scamming people!

After finally getting a response from UberEats they took no responsibility for their action and their driver. They even admit fault as they said they tried calling my number (which is my profile number and not the number I listed for them to call in the delivery instructions). I listed the number to call to open the gate in the delivery instructions as I knew I would not be in signal at time of delivery and I was ordering the food for my kids as I was delayed getting home. When I realised there was an issue and the food hadn’t been delivered I tried to use app to correct situation and their app was conveniently down for 20 minutes and made it impossible to fix UberEats mistake. They make it impossible to speak to someone. No one bothered to read the delivery instructions. Absolutely disgusting and a scam. Rather use Mr D for food deliveries. They take the time to read the instructions and they take calls when there is an issue

I had a $69 order from Wingstop. 3 orders of wings with fries and cokes and one order of the Cajun corn. I received one (8) wings and fries and an orange drink with the name on the bag a completely different name. I stopped the driver when he told me he didn’t speak English and couldn’t help. I then contacted Uber and the refused to refund my order or send me another order because I didn’t have a receipt in the bag because the restaurant or the driver didn’t bring it. I called Wingstop and they even said my order never got picked up.

Missing Item in Order and Unacceptable Customer Service My extreme dissatisfaction with a recent order I placed through Uber Eats, I ordered a meal which included a milkshake that was not delivered. Upon calling the restaurant, they confirmed that the milkshake had been forgotten and was still at the restaurant. Given the significant wait time for my burger, I was unwilling to wait another 40 minutes for a new driver to deliver the milkshake. The purpose of my order was to enjoy the meal and drink together, not 40 minutes apart. When I contacted Uber Eats through the app to report the missing item, I was met with accusations of dishonesty and was denied a refund for the milkshake. This response is both unacceptable and unjustified, especially considering that the restaurant admitted their mistake. It is unreasonable to expect a customer to pay for items that were not delivered. If this were a physical store, I would not be expected to pay for items that were left behind. I expect a prompt resolution to this issue, including a refund for the missing milkshake.
