Not well connected to the merchants, not secure(unknown charge from Netherlands while I was in the US, luckily my bank stopped it) nor supportive. I made an order and forgot to request a cutlery. I contacted the agent for assistance, then I was asked to call the restaurant myself. The app is not connecting us with the merchants and leaves us abandoned once we complete paying the order and membership. I explained I was not a local and was unable to call. That's why I purchased online. My conversation was forcibly ended while I was asking if it's possible to set having cutlery a default on the app. Agents kept closing my conversations so I couldn't help but have to tell my whole experience again and again. And, I received robotic non sense replies again and again until I got a normal one to refund my membership fee. One agent said my order was canceled by the restaurant whilst another said I canceled the order myself. I will never use UEs again! I have photos of the conversation with the couple of agents. I really wish to make the case seen by everyone here, not only in text.

Avoid Uber Eats by all means!!!! They will not issue out a refund even if your order was incorrect!!! They will find all kind of reasons to keep your money. I will be ordering through Door Dash moving forward!

Beware!! Yes, the app is very convenient and the delivery (for my area) is made promptly. But what they won't tell you is that if you must cancel an order, you are out of your money and the food. I just had to pick up my order that was paid for and prepared because the food, taxes, and delivery fee where paid but Uber kept in the delivery fee with a "sorry for the inconvenience" and no other option. Sad excuse for customer service from such a major business.

I ordered Indian food on 27 June 2024. The food came in. It was unable to salty tried to reach. Uber. Couldn’t email them. No response tried to put a complaint in couldn’t do anything. It seems that you can order food very easily but if you’re looking for Customer Service forget it, so I threw it in the garbage to get my card credited for the amount which was $109 and I close my Uber account. Their customer service is by far the worst I’ve ever experienced. Do not go there. Use them at least go pick your food up. If you have a problem you can you can return it with Uber. All they are is a , terrible company with no customer service

Be aware of order cancelations . No even that you made mistake and order and cancel in 1 mt they will charge and not giving money back . I will never use it again

They deceive people. You will not receive a refund even if the order was not delivered to you, or the order was damaged and you could not eat it, if the wrong order was delivered to you. This is the WORST DELIVERY COMPANY. It turns out that if I received something else and the order was damaged, I will not receive a refund. This is already the 4th situation and it’s not fair

My card was charged for food that I did not order. And in order to complain, you gotta pay a dollar for something that you don't want. It is not okay to steal people's money and don't Give them a number to complain or receive their money back. I use Uber 3 to 4 times a day. But I will not spend another dime with this company. This is disgusting

Scam! I placed an order and my total was paid off including taxes and tips, then they tried to overcharge me by deducting tips again they are thefts!!!

Driver didn't deliver my food but he signed as he delivered it after I waited for more than an hour and the worse part is he claims he gave someone in front of my house but it's only me who had the pin for the order which comes to be a question of how did he give away the food without getting a pin?

Terrible service and awful couriers who can never find the address. Now I've been charged, the courier didn't call or contact me at all. Support just closed my ticket, and no one is refunding my money. It's better to use Deliveroo. I've never had any problems with Deliveroo. I only tried this service because this restaurant was only available on Uber Eats. I'll never use it again.

I ordered food and then cancelled 2 minutes later. Uber eats charged cancellation fee for 69 dollars which was the total amount of my order. I contacted Uber eats and they were unprofessional and unresponsive on the issue Uber representative argued that the merchant keeps the money which is false. We contacted the restaurant and the manager confirmed that the restaurant do not get any of this cancellation fee, Uber keeps that money It is unfair and a rip off I understand every case is different but in this case the food wasn’t even prepare I would get if the cancellation fee is a decent percentage but not the full amount that is not even towards the restaurant

Our food order was left out on the road… Our food order was left out on the road under a random car, outside our house, they didn't knock on the door, they didnt both looking up to see our house was right infront of them. Our food was eaten by foxes and we complained but Uber Eats wouldn't refund or send another delivery, even though it was completely their fault our food was put in a terrible place and eaten by the foxes. Bad customer service.

I have been a loyal customer of Uber for years spending to much money weekly. Yesterday I had notifications that orders were being made in other states (multiple different states, multiple orders). I tried canceling the orders and they said my number was not linked to the account. So I called they said they couldn’t find any orders being placed on my account. The next day I check my (secondary) bank account and saw over 300 dollars on the account. I called uber who said I had a second uber account with a similar name and my bank account attached. They won’t give me the account information nor refund me. And now the third person is saying they can’t find any orders with the bank card…. as they typed it in wrong. I will never use uber for anything. I will tell everyone I know not to use uber because how do they not fully investigate and know this is fraud.

Order are ALWAYS messed up and will not refund your money. Worst food delivery service. I would recommend Doordash. They are way more customer friendly!!
