I've encountered this issue twice now. The first time, I let it slide, hoping Uber Eats would address the missing items or the order that never arrived. Unfortunately, it happened again today at the Hungry Jack's Richlands branch, with my order being incomplete. It seems unlikely that Uber Eats will refund me for the missing items. I just want to share this experience so others are aware of how Uber Eats handles customer complaints. If you’re craving something to eat, I recommend going out instead, as Uber Eats has been disappointing for me on two occasions.

I find the app(not most of the employees) to be taking the most advantage of everyone. When even big mistakes are made there are little to minimal reimbursements. Even though I sadly have had the UberOne subscription I highly recommend never to engage in any subscriptions and as minimal interaction with the Uber app wether it is UberEats or just plain Uber drivers. I will be cancelling as soon as possible. Additionally, I recommend everyone who use this app to compare their fare with friends as they have many different prices for the exact same pick-up and delivery address at the exact same time.

The worst customer service! It should be called customer disrespect! Order was cancelled. Called calmly expecting a credit/refund like the amazing service DoorDash provides, only to be yelled at, cursed out, and told “like I said, I’m not getting a supervisor ma’am”—I am a sir btw so already offended there as I informed the rep Misty to properly address me as sir. Please review the call recording (if it was even recorded by these scammers) and have her terminated immediately!!!

Was charged a cancelation fee for canceling a order that was going to take an hour and twenty minutes. Uber wouldn't refund the money after cancelling order with in the first 3 minutes

I would rate them a zero if I could. I had a $15 coupon that wasn't applying correctly in the app. I contacted customer service to see if they could help. They stated that if I placed the order and contacted customer service after, they would refund me $15. I told them I didn't feel comfortable placing the order without knowing I would get the $15. Two different cusomer service reps assured me it would handled after. I have screenshots to prove this. I contacted service directly after placing the $75 order. I was told this was not eligible for any sort of refund of the $15. I explained the customer service conversation telling me to do that. They did not care. They refused to do what they had said. Only reason I placed an order through Uber Eats was they were running a 50% off up to $15 special. I placed an order for Dominos Pizza to be delivered to the church and Uber Eats took off the $15 for the promotion but added back a $14.23 “Marketplace fee charge” that they didn’t even explain what that was. I tried to get help from the app and selected Chat Support. The “agent” I got was NOT helpful and just ended the chat. So I had to try to get help from the Phone Support and spoke to another agent. She was trying to help but they said they can’t refund me the $14.23 Marketplace fee charge. I told them it would have just been cheaper to place the order directly from Dominos and will no longer be using their services. They did not care. She only asked if I wanted them to delete my account with them. 😡

Worst experience. Ordered food online from royal Indian curry club Southampton via Uber eats and didn’t receive it for an hour and half. When I called them, they said it’s been delivered to the wrong address and were unable to take another order as they were about to close. They wasted my time. Also there is no support from Uber eats. Won’t suggest this place to anyone.

I had food delivered via uber eats. The drivers tip of $4.00 was calculated within the total. After my food was delivered I was charged another $4.00 for the drivers tip.

It's concerning that despite paying for a specific order, restaurants sometimes send items that differ from what was requested, and Uber Eats often doesn't hold them accountable. When issues arise, restaurants frequently direct customers to Uber Eats for resolution. Unfortunately, Uber Eats' refund decisions can be inconsistent, leading to frustration when refunds are not granted despite having paid for what was ordered. Recently I paid extra for two things and left off one thing because I am allergic. Well the restaurant gave me what they wanted vs what I asked for and uber refunded me 2.00$. Just yesterday I paid extra for something and the restruant didn't give me what I paid for yet uber did not refund me. Its seriously ridiculous and something should be done about this company who is ripping everyone off.

Uber eats is the worst platform to order food and grocery, they take no accountability for anything. If there is no-one to pick up, they make you wait for hours and do not let you cancel. Atrocious. Pathetic customer service.

DO NOT USE WHATSOEVER!!! Would give 0 stars if possible as this is the worst app I have ever used, I have ordered from it three times, twice food has not been delivered while money has been taken from my bank and not refunded, and once food was arrived it was the wrong order aswell as being cold. Without refund, there is no contact number for when these problems occur. I am owed nearly £50 worth of food!!!!!! Please use Justeat or deliveroo instead as they atleast give you a refund or vouchers for your next orders.

Third time trying them in the last 6 months. First 2 orders were delayed and missing items. The third one said delivery in 40 min. An hour after it then said 20 more minutes. I tried texting driver with no response. The app showed no driver location. And the customer service is all automated until you ask for them to simply cancel the order. Food finally showed at 1 hr and 30 min. All cold of course and the boxes the food were in were soaked in the food juices. Never again. Deleting the app. Goodbye uber

I ordered one sub. The business was offering buy one get one free, the uber eats app automatically put 2 subs and I was charged for two subs. I call customer service and these backwards speaking people were rude and ignorant. I will never use this app again. Uber eats and drive are a bunch of thieves. Wish I could put negative stars.

This is one of the most notorious company on the planet. They have different ways of scamming people. Infact, whoever is in charge of the automated system to take the money that is not earned from people's account should be in same jail as those people who scam people online. They charged me for an Order that I cancelled in less than a minute saying restaurant already prepared it. I mistakenly pressed a button but cancelled immediately and now they are not willing to refund it after wasting my time on the phone for 30 minutes talking to a girl named Danielle. I do not recommend them.

Compared to grub hub Uber eats was 45% more on several occasions so I have deleted all Uber apps they are ridiculously over priced. I will never use them again.

We just lost $30 because we cancelled our order due to waiting almost an hour for another driver after the first one agreed to pick it up then cancelled on us. Customer service was no help and said that “not being able to find a driver” is not an eligible reason to receive a refund because it isn’t their fault. Uber Eats has gone downhill and we will no longer be using their services.

I canceled an order in less than a minute. They still charged me for the order. If we are not allowed to cancel the order that option should not be available. It should also tell us that we will be charged for cancellation which it did not. Uber Eats is FRAUD!

I am a loyal uber customer for 10+ years. Today I finally tried uber eat the very first time and the customer experience was just awful. I was ordering this item (~$18) and the restaurant (Banana's Leaf) called me and told me that they couldn't fulfill my request of not making it spicy. I asked the staff on the phone to cancel it but they said they didn't know how to do it and ask me to cancel that on the Uber site. I did that but uber charged me and told me that they could not refund me because the restaurant accepted the order and had started preparing for the food. The $18 they charged was for them. I called the restaurant and confirmed that they didn't start preparing for anything. The restaurant staff said that the order is marked as 'canceled' so they couldn't do anything on their end. I called uber eat back, but none of them were helpful as they claimed that they couldn't reach out to the restaurant to confirm what I told them, so they can't refund me. This is really frustrating customer experience, knowing that they charged you for nothing.
