Absolutely terrrible. My food was an hour+ late; i contacted uberEats customer support for help and they cancelled my order without authorization - I was left with no food at 10pm even though my delivery guy was already close by. When I asked the UberEats support person to connect me with my delivery guy to get my food, UberEats cancelled the chat.

My boyfriend set up a Uber delivery from Nuthing Bundt Cakes before he went on a cruise on July 11th. A delivery did come from nuthin Bundt cakes but it had someone’s name on it that did not work at my job. I did not know he set this delivery up until Monday June 15th when he returned and asked me about the cake. I never received the cake it was left with my job Security guard.The security said when she called Uber eats she was told to just keep it since that person did not work there so you guys gave away my delivery. My boyfriend paid 70.00 for a cake I never received and was told since it’s been 48 hours there’s nothing that can be done. The cake was a surprise and he was on a cruise so he assumed it would be delivered. I believe someone wrote the wrong name on my delivery and also upper management called and was told there wasn’t a delivery at my job address so It was two different stories being told. They received their money and did not care about the delivery afterwards when actually someone screwed up the name on the delivery. This is wrong!!!!!

The delivery driver claimed he contacted me and because his 7 mins ran out he got the food for free and I wasn’t given a refund. I tried to contact the driver through the app and via the contact number and even asked a live agent/bot to contact him as he told he was lost and the location of his car was in the wrong direction. Uber refused to refund me, and they said that am not eligible for a refund. So I was left without food and £21 down, instead used Deliveroo which was a smooth transaction and better customer service.

I wouldn’t even give them a star here in Pensacola, FL. I paid $100 for Dairy Queen to be delivered. I ordered at 7:30pm and my food got delayed 3 times and got here at 10pm. The food was cold, burgers were soggy. Ice cream was runny. I couldn’t even eat my meal. $100 down the drain. I contacted Uber wats and they told me I wasn’t eligible for a refund. I contacted them within 30 min. Of getting my food. They were quick to give excuses and are not willing to work with you. Also it was hard to get a hold to someone on their site. It was through text. They also provided no name of who you was messaging you just a letter B. They are shady!

All the sudden they're asking me for a pin and I have to fight with the drivers about it they hold your food hostage unless you give it to them I paid for merchandise their job is to deliver and drop it off nothing more

Uber Eats is a horrible app order from other than them giving you credit, Ivo wasted an hour of your life that you’ll never get back and by the time they can never replace your food. Most people are not hungry.

Placed an order for Firehouse Subs a few days ago which is a couple blocks away. They were running a BOGO special (which I ordered), but I only got one sandwich. So I requested a partial refund for the missing sandwich and the said I would receive a credit for half what it should have been. To make things worse they actually only issued me a credit for $1.88! Like an idiot, I placed an identical order yesterday to try again. Once the tracking map appeared, it showed the order was sent to another Firehouse Subs in another city this time!!! So, I immediately cancelled the order (in less than one minute), but they charged me anyway. I call the restaurant immediately (in the other city) and they said they had not started the order as they do not deliver to my city. Manager said this has happened before, but that I would have to call UBER to fix it. So I finally found a Uber Support Phone Number (not shown on the website of course), and they said there was nothing they could do, so I just donated $20 to them. I also went through the steps again without actually placing an order and there was no indication that they would send it to another Firehouse 20 miles away. So I had to actually place an order to see that it was routed to the wrong restaurant.

If there was a way to rate you zero i would. Uber eats is sucks and it's service is trash. Just go to doordash not that they that much better but uber eats like to double charge you for no reason talking about a hold on your account. For what ? Makes no sense when they already got paid I'm About to erase they bs app.

Last night, June 13th an order was placed on my phone in error. It was cancelled immediately - within 5 seconds and I was charged the full amount. I contacted support and explained that it was a mistake and to please reverse the charges and they said it couldn’t be refunded because the restaurant was already preparing the order. I said if I can’t get a refund please reverse the cancellation and just send me the food. That apparently wasn’t an option either. I asked to escalate my situation to a manager and I was ignored. Unacceptable.

Ordered mcdonalds and it arrived cold and inedible so had to throw it away. Complained to customer services, was only offered a pre typed apology, they closed the complaint without resolving it at all and I was left angry, hungry and without a refund. Absolute waste of £15 - I'm going to not renew uber one and find an alternative service that actually cares about the customers and not lining pockets.

Worst deceitful app I’ve ever used the 25 off promo is a scam can’t go past the placed order part without it saying ERROR ERROR ERROR THERES BEEN AN ERROR. With no customer service number that’s wild and evil right there over just trying to save a buck lol. Don’t get screwed over stay away from the app. Not worth the time.

I placed a late night order through Uber eats a few nights ago and suddenly realized I needed to cancel the order due to the restaurant closing minutes before I placed the order. Unfortunately, I have placed late night orders before and never received my food or compensation for canceled orders, no failure of my own. So when I canceled the order it was a couple minutes after I placed the order. Uber eats is saying they REFUSE to give me a refund for my $80 order due to, “the restaurant accepting the order and beginning preparations. It is out of our jurisdiction to give you a refund, we will not give you a refund for the cancellation fee.” However, my cancellation fee was still $54 and I paid about $80. Where did the rest of my money go?? I’m still being shorted at the end of the day. While I’ve tried to contact customer service, their representatives have been nothing but rude by cutting me off mid sentence or just closing or hanging up mid conversations. And now the are RECHARGING ME ANOTHER FEE ON MY ACCOUNT

I placed an order for pickup and needed to cancel it. I immediately called the restaurant and they told me it was no problem and to cancel the order on the app. I then contacted UberEats Support and requested a refund and they refused. I asked them to make a one time exception as my account is in good standing and I have never requested this before and they send pre-typed automated responses and then close the chat, not allowing me to respond. I then tried to re-initiate the chat and it was closed again without them saying anything to me.

We had the restaurant call us to say the driver was inpatient and took off without waiting for the full order. We called the driver who said that he couldn't go back and it was upto the restaurant to resolve the issue. This left us stuck in the middle. We ended up with 1 Entree between 2 people. We had just been at the hospital for 2 long days and we were way too exhausted to deal with the issue.

Absolutely disgusting service. Driver Nida contacted me for directions, so i waited at the garden gate so he could see me, 10 minutes later I receive a message to say my order had been delivered. At the wrong address. By the time I found the house at which the order had been delivered, the person living at the house had taken the order inside and wouldn't answer the door, curtains drawn, lights on but no answer. Uber refused to refund £30 A bunch of thieves, and uneducated not to be trusted drivers.

Low tips not worth the drive. $12 tips for almost an hour commute when people are using their own gas and putting mileage on their cars is not worth it. Apart from that, customers know the parking situation but want deliveries to be made at their apartment doors. Get real!! They adjust their tips if we do not deliver to their door when it could cost us a tow. Man… it’s not worth the trouble. I hope Uber Eats goes out of business.

I ordered from a local restaurant and noticed at the last minute that it was going to my old address as I just moved. Within 30-60 seconds I canceled my order. No, the restaurant had not accepted or confirmed my order. At this point I changed my address and proceeded to make another order. All within 5 min. Everything went well until 4 days later. I checked my bank account and noticed I was charged for the order the next day. Well I was also charged for my cancelled order. I understand all the pop ups and what not to contact the call center within 48hrs. But how is that possible when you’re charged 4 days later?? Also the restaurant didn’t confirm even though they said they did on the system. I contacted the customer service and the lady agreed with me with every single point I had made. Said she knows it would is impossible for the restaurant to confirm that quickly. However, it’s outside the 48hr rule and she is sticking to the rule. Regardless of the bank statement showing 4 days later. She blamed the bank. She also refused me to talk to a manager. This is not how customer service should be. I’m disgusted in a multi-million dollar company.

First and likely last time using Uber eats. Ordered over an hour ago and still nothing. Constantly looking for a driver. Used door dash numerous times no problems. Will return to door dash.
