I am appalled at the lack of customer service. I had a promotion for 50% off at Target food. Apparently my tip for the excellent delivery ( btw) was doubled without my knowledge or consent. Uber refused to acknowledge this or rectify the situation.

They tried to deliver to the wrong address even though they had my correct address. I called them make within one minute after their missed call however they would not pick up. I recieved an email from them promising me a full refund however this never happened so I emailed customer service who said I should have requested a refund within 48 hours so will not be receiving a refund. No refund recieved. Very unhelpful, will not be using them again

The worst ever...It's always either your food is wrong or items missing..I sent a photo and still wasn't refunded for missing items.. They don't care if it's wrong or what's missing, you will not get refunded or helped

Ordered some food from McDonalds as a treat for the kids during half term. Unfortunately, they use UberEATS to deliver. UberEATS delivered the food to a totally WRONG address. They took a photo of the food in front of a white door and marked the delivery as complete. I have a brown door... All my neighbours have brown doors, so I called the driver straight away to let him know, but he said he's already on another drop & can't help. This was within 30 seconds of him taking the photo, so surely he was still on the same road! Either way, he refused to help. I then called their customer service line and was "assisted" by a very rude lady who clearly does not care about any of this. She kept saying that they have "proof of delivery" - this being the photo of the wrong door - and refused to help or listen any further. After holding for at least 10 minutes, I was put through to a "manager" (who only managed to speak worse English than the the lady before) and was told that since they have a photo, that is enough for them and that "hopefully I'll have a better experience next time"! I tried to explain that the photo was not of my door, but they were not interested. I also asked for them to check the GPS of where that photo was taken... funnily, they said they don't need to do that! I don't know why such a big company is using these guys to look after their deliveries, but I for one will not be ordering anything from any company using UberEATS as their delivery agent.

It used to be a good company , now gone expensive , don't deliver food on time and the worst customer support . Deliveroo and justeat are way better. I ordered food through app did not arrived foe 90 mins and when I cancelled it they charged me full amount. The customer supports just sents generic emails without understanding the situation and no outcome what so ever. So if any one want to pay for the food which do not arrive please choose ubereats.

Terrible Experience. Placed an order and noticed it said for pickup. So I got on the phone and told the restaurant that I had placed the order for pick up but that I wanted delivery. So the guy at the restaurant told me just to cancel it on UberEATS and reorder it again that he would not use the order I made. So I got an agent at UberEATS and he told me he would cancel the order and he assured me that if any money got charged to my card, that it would be reimbursed. But I didn’t reorder. Waited 6 days for my reimbursement and I didn’t get it. Now UberEATS Support team says I can’t get a refund because I waited more than 48 hours to let them know. Which is a lie. I have the whole conversation on my chat log. But they don’t care. They just keep cutting me off the chat saying that I waited over 48 hours. Terrible. I got no food and I’m out of $54.20

I accidentally ordered from a café very far from my house. I realized five minutes later that my order would not arrive for a long time and a driver had not even arrived to pick up the food yet. I put in a cancellation request and they canceled my order, next thing I know Uber charges me for the full price of the order! I told customer service that if they were going to charge me for the food anyway, then I might as well keep the order in place. They did not know how to do that. So then I was out $$ for the full amount and I did not get my order! This was the worst experience with any delivery company that I’ve had. No transparency. If you’re going to charge a penalty for canceling an order, tell your customer first. I would have said no!

Received a $25 promo. When I tried to place my order it said the promo could not be applied, with no reason given. Also was charged a nearly $14 service fee along with the delivery fee. The explanation for those fee is so vague that they could literally charge anything with no real reasoning. I'll go get my own food from now on. Uber Eats is a huge scam.

They have some really un-knowledgeable administrative staff. I've been asking about a missing invoice for a week now, but no matter who answers me, I always get the same mail. Service is simply written in very small letters.

TERRIBLE! My daughter and I are both executives for different companies with heavy work schedules. We order out pretty often due to our schedules. Between the two of us we've spent almost $5,000 with Uber Eats (which includes their inflated, ridiculous fees) over the past 2 years. The one time that I called with a complaint because of the terrible food that we received, they gave us the runaround and refused to give us a credit for that $46.70, instead. trying to humiliate by insinuating that we were trying to get a free meal! They purposely make it hard to reach customer service so that they don't have to deal with complaints. BUYER BEWARE! I will NEVER order through Uber Eats again. DoorDash will get my business from now on.

I ordered from Culver's 10 minutes away and they sent the driver to one that is about 3 times further and of course my food was cold. When I tried to let them know and find out what they would do to fix the problem all the chat people kept saying there is nothing I can do for you and would disconnect the chat. They are horrible first and last time ordering with them

Their customer service used to be top notch if you had an issue they would take care of it immediately but now that they're the multimillion dollar force that they are they no longer care about the customer the past few Uber Eats orders that I've made have been wrong and each time they told me that I'm not eligible for a refund basically what they're saying is we got the money the restaurant got the money sorry that you got the wrong merchandise but it's you who loses we really don't care about the customer anymore because we know that people are going to continue to order food from us we know people working going to continue to use the Rideshare with us it's disgusting and heartbreaking how the way Uber has become the greedy low life force that they are no longer cares about customers all they want is your money trick you into getting these memberships into thinking you're going to get top-notch customer service and Bargains with an actuality they steal from the people they are stealing from the people they are Crooks Uber is a dirty company a low life dirty company that steals from their customers would poor poor customer service

I ordered from Little Caesar’s in Oro Valley AZ using Uber Eats. After 1 1/2 hours of waiting for our lunch, I called Little Caesar’s. They said Iber had not picked up the pizza and so they would cancel the order. Since Uber eats did not pick up my order and Little Caesar’s cancelled the order, I assumed I would get a refund from Uber eats. 10 days later, still no refund. I messaged Uber eats and they are unwilling to refund my money because it has to be requested within 48 hours. It does not say that on their website. Each time I got a chat person they disconnected the call after apologizing that they couldn’t do anything about it. They also refused to get a supervisor on the line. I will never use Uber eats and I would not recommend them to anyone!!!

Would give zero stars for customer service, called because of a billing concern. Ask to have the monthly charge billed to the correct payment method listed and the customer service rep hung up on me. I hope they go out of business DoorDash is a much better delivery service!

UberEats is in my opinion one of the WORST food delivery services AVAILABLE IN THE GREATER bOSTON AREA! I have multiple experiences with delayed deliveries. I stopped using UberEats for a while due to delayed delivery, delivery to the wrong address, etc. Yesterday (02/19/24) I decided to give them another try. I received an approximate time of deliver, then a message saying my food was being prepared, then a message saying my food was delayed, then a message saying my driver was delayed due to making delivery stops along the way! I contacted UberEats to ask about why my delivery was scheduled along with other deliveries which would mean my food would be cold by the time it arrived at my house. The customer service rep told me to call them back if my food was cold on delivery and they would work with me at that time. Well my food came and as I knew it would be THE FOOD WAS COLD AND I HAD TO REHEAT IT. If I wanted to cook I would not have ordered delivery. I will NEVER order from UberEats and do not recommend this service to anyone that wants professional delivery service. It also seems to be the practice of some drivers that the smaller the tip, the more delayed the service. If I could rate this service a 0 it would be more accurate that rating it a 1.

Uber has wrong directions for drivers. Driver would not respond to my messages to help him. I had to walk 2 blocks in the cold to retrieve my order. He had already put the 8 min timer on so he would get paid. I contacted help on the app and the "service" people ended my chat twice with no resolution. Terrible awful experiences with UberEats

Will never use again, I order a lot of food but my app was being funny n uber was the only one to go through. Not only did I pay extra to get it faster n it still came late but the fee was outrageous, the driver looked lost on the map while bringing it, and then they double charged me to make sure my money was there They make you wait days to return it, and now my card is negative, and I bet they don't pay for overdraft fees do they... I bet not.
