Shocking. Due to travel in a week but can't get anyone to answer either an email or a telephone call. They were pretty prompt when I booked mind! And on twitter its saying AGAIN that they will only offer vouchers to villa only customers despite being referred to the regulator. Taking them to the ombudsman now - they need to close. DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGEPOLE!

What a rubbish firm. Used them before and were excellent. But now, no responses except old out of date ones. Not even a courtesy email. Due out on 25th July but F and CO advice on Portugal is still not to travel.

Booked package holiday with VP with easyJet flights from Southend!!! Paid balance and now have no flights. Tried to make contact but it's as if they don't exist. Shocking service. Despicable company. Is ABTA worth anything? They should step in to sort this mess out. I want my money back NOW.

The senior management of villa plus you should feel extremely ashamed at the way their company are treating customers, you have taken peoples money and basically taken no responsibility and just told customers to claim through their insurance, you have told me I need a cancellation invoice to do this but have failed to respond to any request , only an automated reply and no one can contact you by phone, no way to complain. You are going to lose a lot of customers due to this poor response, start taking responsibility and look after your customers who money you were happy to take but refuse to return.

So we booked a package holiday with VP last year for this summer. Paid our balance as requested and then tried to book seats on our TUI flight only to be told the flight is now cancelled. OK - VP need to book an alternative for us. Easier said than done. Firstly, you cannot contact them - they will not answer emails/phone calls/social media pleas. You just have to sit tight and wait but in the meantime all the decent alternative flights are being snapped up and prices are rising as they become scarce (and yes, we will have to pay the difference in fares). You then note on their terms and conditions that a change of carrier/airport or flight time is allowed - anything up to 12 hours difference in flight time is viewed as a minor alteration - no compensation or cancellation - you will lose all your money if you do decide it's not suitable. Furthermore airports are 'grouped' by them so Birmingham is grouped with East Midlands and Doncaster, (the latter airport being some 140 miles from where I live). Again a change of airport to one in this group is viewed as a minor change and you either accept their change or lose all of your money. So when are VP likely to share our mystery travel arrangements with us ? Well according to some posts on here it may be as little as 2 days before we are due to fly. So I am now looking at my original flight time of 7 am from Birmingham being moved to possibly a 6 pm flight theoretically from Doncaster, and my return to Birmingham being moved from 2.30 pm arrival to (again theoretically) Doncaster at stupid o'clock in the morning and I may not be told about this until 2 days before my departure date when further monies will be demanded or I lose the lot. I cannot believe that VP could treat their customers so shabbily. I just wish now that I had not paid my balance and just taken the hit with the deposit - losing hundreds rather than thousands of pounds. At least I would now be sleeping rather than relentlessly logging onto to airline pages and trying to guesstimate what VP might be considering as an alternative and trying to work out how I get my family to whichever airport they chose.

Must be going under Disgusting company Which magazine found this out Why haven't ATOL OR ABTA OR GOVERMENT stepped in as they takeing everyone's money The bosses banking this and laughing at us all

Shambolic company and response to cv19. Do not be tempted to use their services, that’s if you can actually contact them. Ripping people off by taking deposits as cancellations with no flexibility to rebook or refund and even demanding balances are paid before advising If they can actually fly you there ! Shocking really I just hope they get their just deserts.

The same as message below. Disgusting demanding to pay final balance within 24 hrs due to text had yesterday which stated sent email. No email received and have tried emailing constantly and telephones not operational. Had even tried to reply to text but this is blocked as well. How on earth are you able to speak to a human being regarding your booking. Will never book with them again and urge others not to do so either.

I would give no stars if I could. Demanding payment of our holiday to Portugal by 5pm tonight after receiving a voicemail last night and no email. Closing their phone lines no means of communication. I wonder if they are going into administration.

They don’t return calls (pre shut down) then phones all off, emails only, they don’t reply to emails, then they have the cheek to ask you to pay for a holiday that you can’t go on. They keep your deposit when clearly they should just cancel the holiday. They are an absolute joke and I would avoid using them at all costs.

Unethical practices in relation to villa only bookings. Eventually did a u-turn after Which? and the CMA became involved, but beware, they have used some very underhand tactics with many customers including myself.

Exactly the same as the last reviewer below, Odette. We are due to have paid our final balance for a holiday in the future. We have not paid as we have asked several questions with regards to where we stood if the quarantine was still in place etc when we were due to go. We requested a further extension for our balance and clarification as to whether or not a UK quarantine being in place would be reason enough for them to give us a full refund if we were to go ahead and pay the full balance, i have had no response. I have sent in total since the beginning 10 emails, one of which was replied which was the first one I sent back in April, since then, nothing. I too have now since found my villa available for the dates we were meant to be going! Unreal! Especially as written within the first and only response I had from them in April they requested if I wasn't going to go ahead with my booking please could I let them know ASAP in order for them to send me a notification of cancellation! It would seem they have cancelled my booking anyway, so, so disappointed. Managed to have £900 out of me and potentially will receive that again if someone else books the same place. Outrageous.

Beware, we have tried to contact villa plus since May, various e mails asking them to discuss options re paying final balance travel re Covid, no replies. Today noticed on their website our villa is back up for rental on the dates we had booked the holiday! They have kept our deposit and re let our villa put as we had not paid balance without consulting us. I have reported thrm yo ABTA atop CMA and which? I tried to ring a pretend I wanted to go ok the villa 😁 but they still not answering any

Terrible customer service from Villaplus - due to fly in a package holiday with them this Friday and heard nothing - do we go to the airport don’t we - it’s shocking! Our first time booking with them and understandably the pandemic is unavoidable but the terrible communication and customer service isn’t! We are left with radio silence not knowing what to do on Friday!

The list of complaints against VP is endless just look at their FB page, as my review on Trustpilot has been removed (yes they are removing negative reviews) I will post on here hopefully people will see and realise that VP are not much more than a bunch of criminals who constantly change their T&Cs. I Will never use VP again finally after weeks of pressure and Which? magazine writing an article about them they have finally agreed to refund Villa only bookings up to the 28th June. They have constantly changed their minds regarding refunds, balance extensions etc. I would recommend that anyone with a balance to pay pushes really hard for an extension and also before paying any balance ask what the Covid arrangements are. The Mallorcan Tourist Board confirmed that when villas are available to customers the pool will be out of use. Anyone travelling with VP in the future should check Covid precautions that are beginning taken and also what the local restrictions are. The way that this company has treated people has ensured that I will never use them again. Although whether they will be operating in 2021 is debatable as they haven't paid villa owners for over 3 months as confirmed by villa owners on their FB page

Due to travel to Majorca for a villa only holiday on the 16 th of may at which time villa plus own web advice page was saying if travelling within 3 days I was due a refund this message remained until the 21st of May 2 days before I was due home Villa plus are now saying I’m not due a refund and to claim on my insurance (shameful) So many customers upset so many people will never use them again WHY DONT THEY CARE do they know something we don’t ??

Same as everyone else, Villaplus will not refund on Villa only bookings cancelled through corona virus. Will never use thus company again they are keeping my money, this company should be investigated

Shocking! Beware of this company they are basically refusing refunds for customers who have booked villas with them. Their stance 'you can't travel ...not our problem'. They are laughing all the way to the bank....for the time being anyway.
