We have just had a terrible experience with Villa Plus. We had been using them for 15 years. Some of thr bookings went smoothly, others had small issues but overall we always felt we had been treated fairly. On this occasion after booking a villa months ago, we received a very brief cancellation email just 3 months before our holiday. No explanation given until I called them and they cited construction works related to a new development (which they would have known of in advance). I was offered two alternatives: a derelict-looking villa and a villa ehich vost nearly 4 times more than the one we had originally booked - and neither option was actually in the resort we had chosen. I was assured the management team were working hard and to allow them an extra few days. Of course no one contacted us and after I called them again I was sent a very brief email saying there were no options and good luck in finding a villa elsewhere. Needless to say I did not feel my repeat business is value by Villa Plus and I am extremely upset at their lies and unprofessionalism. I will never use them again.

I would leave zero stars if this was an option. Villa Plus actively advertise that they offer ‘personally inspected villas.’ We paid £3,277.00 for Villa Favorita in Costa Adeje and my images (and these are a small number of them) show what we endured. The property was filthy throughout and was in a dreadful state of disrepair. Disregard the glossy images shown on the Villa Plus website. The Villa Plus representative was helpful but did not get the issues resolved – there were too many issues to resolve with guests staying in the property. After three decades of villa holidays this was by far the worst. Villa Plus have not accepted any responsibility for the appalling state of this property. I guess PERSONALLY inspected does not mean 'inspected' by them.

We stayed in a villa in Benalmadena, only for 25 hours before it was obvious we would have to move. One toilet was completed blocked and nearly flooded the floor the first time it was flushed. I believe they were already aware of the problem as they said it was due to tree roots, without even sending anyone out. As it was a Friday, no-one could come out until Monday. The fridge did not work either, so our €120 shop was mostly ruined. Warm drinks and off food, not a great way to start a holiday. Someone came out on the Saturday and tried to tell us it was too full and we were opening the door too often. Ridiculous. And I've never been to a villa that doesn't even provide a bin bag in any of the bathroom bins. The only thing provided is a tea towel. No cloth, pan scrub, washing up liquid, salt, pepper, oil, foil etc etc. Stuff you know other guests have left. I kid you not, absolutely nothing of use. No cleaning products for the bathrooms, hand soap for the sinks, nothing. Not impressed. Will never book with them again.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced! Complaint sent and the response blames everything on us just as the villa representative did while we were there. Utter disgrace of a company, DO NOT book

Villa Leonor Olhos De Água Portugal! It was not a good experience! There were dead flies and wasps when we arrived and could not find a dustpan and brush to sweep them up! The kitchen was very poorly equipped for 6 people to stay there! The cooking utensils consisted of one saucepan, two frying pans and an aluminium jug! There were two very large stew pots that didn’t fit the hob properly so couldn’t use them! The fridge freezer turned itself off 4 times, the first time was the day after we arrived and we had stocked the fridge and freezer up! Everything defrosted overnight but no recompense was offered for all the meat and all the rest of the contents lost! Every cupboard had things in that were of no use and there was no where to put food! The toaster was broken and there was only one socket in the kitchen for the kettle, toaster and coffee maker, we had to ask for an extension! The lounge was big but not all lights worked and one of the sofas had pen scribbled on it! The tv was very small and looked like it had been taken out of the master bedroom! The tv only showed the news channel in English but lots of other programs in other languages! Our en suite was small with a clear window in the shower that overlooked next door! The “bath towels” were nothing more than a hand towel, the hand towel were actually bath mats! The hot water was fine until family came to visit and then the owner had to be called to turn on the water heater! The mattresses were hard and very uncomfortable and the pillows were cheap foam! There was a lovely built in BBQ which had a bald brush that was no good, the owner said she would bring another one round (3 days later)! We were there for a month and no one came to cut the grass in all that time! The cleaners always rang the bell and let you know they were on the property, the pool woman came on the property but never let you know and it was only when you saw her you knew she was there! All in all the villa was lovely but sadly the owners need to upgrade it to a far better standard! I would avoid this villa and this company!

I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience with Villa Plus. Despite providing a substantial seven months' notice due to unforeseen health issues, they refused a refund and showed a complete lack of sympathy. Their unresponsiveness, taking over two weeks to reply to a single email, further added to the frustration. Villa Plus appears more focused on taking money than on customer care. I strongly advise others to think twice before booking with them, as their unsympathetic service has left me thoroughly dissatisfied.

Just got back from a 2 week Holiday booked through this Company. The Villa wasn't cleaned properly, upstairs the 2 spair rooms had 2 x single beds in each room for children . We couldn't open the wardrobes because there was no room , they had changed the owners beds to get more people in the rooms but they were children's beds not for Adults. Villa Plus would not change the mattresses so we where going to buy them ourselves but we managed to get in touch with the owners, the came around & agreed they changed the sleeping arrangements without him knowing. He went out & bought 2 x property mattress after a heated exchange. He said he wouldn't use them ever again after this season!!! All I can say Villa Plus couldn't care less with the customer, any other business would make sure you were happy with everything but not Villa Plus . Anyone booking with Villa Plus please be careful we spent hard earned money to have 2 weeks in the sun & lovely Villa but they aren't the Company they make out. This is the first & last time we use Villa Plus just be careful .

This villa was clean but very tired. I raised a number of issues after the holiday but was advised that I should have raised them with the local rep (who hardly spoke English and I hardly speak Spanish ) I raised a couple of email complaints and received poor responses, I even emailed the MD who couldn’t even bother to respond. Very poor customer service from a company who just don’t care.

What a shower they are What a shower they are. They cancel your holiday and refund the money with out any consideration of what you have paid in terms of Car hire Transfers and flights. All you hear from them is "It's our policy" which is of no help whatsoever. The alternative Villas they suggested were more than twice the price of what we paid. No help towards the cost of this was offered as it's there policy just to refund. So we are hung out to dry by Villa Plus.When speaking to Jessica she constantly interrupted and wouldn't listen. The standard of the Villas has dropped over the years and I thought that given the pandemic situation they would have tried really hard to get as many positive reviews as they could. For instance earlier this year when in one of their villas in Portugal they wouldn't even provide bin bags. How many people take bin bags on holiday. All the small things that used to be provided are no longer available unless you buy a seriously overpriced welcome pack. Cutting corners is one thing but obliterating the services that were previously available is totally wrong. All in the name of profit and not having any duty of care for the client. Perhaps they should rename themselves as Villa Minus. My husband is waiting for a phone call from Alex who I hope will have discussed our situation with her manager.

I booked a holiday with Villa Plus back in January.. just 2 weeks before the holiday they cancelled our villa and offered us a lower grade villa, saying they would refund the difference in price. We booked this villa purposely as it was close to all the amenities, due to not being able to drive. The villa they offered us said car essential. As its peak season, there is lack of choice on the island. We were willing to compromise and found a villa 40kms away for only 10days not 14. This ment changing flights at £35p.p. We've lost 4days of our holiday..extra cost for flight changes and required 2 x taxis to the other side of the island on arrival. Never mind all the stress it has coursed our family. Villa plus offered us NOTHING in compensation. There attitude was take this villa in the mountains or get a full refund. I've cancelled next years holiday with them. I will not give them another penny.

Absolutely appalling customer service, we couldn't use our pool for a week as it was full of algae. Kitchen tired. Shower heads broken. Reviews are true!!

Coral Bay Cottage, Coral Bay, Cyprus June 2023 This company doesn't deserve the 1 star, but unfortunately I was unable to continue the review without doing so. I have never been treated so appallingly by an organisation who markets villa holidays that people save hard for all year around. We visited Coral Bay Cottage in June of this year for a 2 week holiday. Within less than 24 hours after our arrival a burglary took place, whilst we had gone shopping for groceries. Frighteningly the burglars were still on the premises when we returned, but managed to escape through one of the bedroom windows. Valuable jewellery and money was stolen, which in normal circumstances would have been locked away in the safe, but we couldn’t operate the facility we found in the wardrobe. We contacted Villa Plus for help and asked that they notify the owners and contact the Police. Sadly the Police were not interested as there was no forced entry and no property damage. The villa owners were also not very interested when they visited us later in the day. They were much more engrossed in telling us about their fruit trees, thus avoiding the serious matter in hand. The attitude of the Villa Plus was disgusting when I spoke to them a few days after the incident. I explained that I was left feeling very vulnerable and unsafe and was considering flying back home and cancelling our second trip to Coral Bay Cottage in October. The response from the member of staff concerned was that this event could have happened anywhere in the world. This wasn’t what I wanted to hear. Throughout the remainder of our holiday we didn’t received any support from either the owner or Villa Plus and on my return to the UK I cancelled our second trip. Although the company policy is that deposits are not refundable, given the circumstances, the least they could have done was return our deposit of £759. The reasons given were that they would have to remarket the property causing further expenditure and that it was our responsibility to ensure the premises were secure. The only door that we physically opened was the front door which is used to gain entry and exit. I don’t therefore feel it is up to the hirer to go around checking other windows and doors that we had not used. We rightly assume that the owners would have left it secure after they cleaned the premises prior to our arrival. We gave Villa plus 15 weeks (105 days/3.5 months) notice of cancellation. Since this date they have managed to book all 3 weeks that we had originally booked. As they have not lost any money the return of our deposit was not too much to ask. Think again before considering using Villa Plus, there is no Customer care or else renting Coral Bay Cottage, Coral Bay, Cyprus. Once they have your money, they don’t care less. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES AS YOU WILL LOSE MONEY, ALL THE BAD REVIEWS ARE TRUE

Villa Soni in Olhos D’Agua, Algarve is in dire need of refurbishment. The downstairs shower room should be condemned. Electric cables were showing in the connection to the kitchen ceiling light and to top it all the downstairs air conditioning unit on the outside wall feeding the 2 inside units caught fire. It was just as well that when the air conditioning went off I checked outside to see what was going on only to see flames coming from the unit. And called the fire brigade and had to get everyone else up, and all this at 07:15.

After 6 days I had to cancel (or try to ) my booking due to a drastic change in my personal circumstances, booking was for next May (2024) there is no refund of your deposit, rip off company, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES AS YOU WILL LOSE MONEY, ALL THE BAD REVIEWS ARE TRUE
