Totally disreputable company. Look at the other review sites and see how they treat their customers. They do not contact you after you have paid your deposit and will do all that they can to bend their rules and the law to make sure they keep your money. DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGE POLE.

This company don’t even deserve 1 star but I couldn’t write the review without giving them 1. Utterly disgusting company lost our deposit, because we can’t go because of restrictions and self isolation, they don’t want to know, well let’s see if they make a profit next year, a petition is what we need about this company. Do they honestly think that us brits would not travel if we could? They are a bloody disgrace robbing us of our hard earned cash. I WILL NEVER USE VILLA PLUS EVER AGAIN.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Supposed to holiday with them on 2nd April 2021. Have tried numerous times to contact them to move our holiday instead of a refund as all the flights are cancelled. However, Spain is still open to tourists, so they are not obliged to help . Apparently sent an e-mail giving me a 72 hour slot in which to change my booking. An email I never received. Used Villa Plus for years. NEVER AGAIN.

Villa Plus will be going under from the Coronavirus. They tried to profit from people who couldn't travel, even advised to travel against FCO advice, refused to refund. Helpful hint guys, if you go on the gov.uk website you can print the FCO travel guidelines especially ones dated 14 March 2020 stating only essential travel, on these grounds the tour operator should give you full refund or change date, flights would change, villa refused, so even travel insurance wont pay out as its down to Villa Plus to refund. JUst take them to the small claims through money gov online, the document off the gov.uk website alone is enough to force them to refund you through the courts. ABSOLUTE DISGRACE. Just try and get your courts cases through before they go under, even if they survive the crisis with cash flow they've shafted all their customers and they've been hammered on social media forums over their treatment, think Ryan Air and Villa Plus are going to learn a valuable lesson in business, unfortunately it's going to come at a cost of their functioning ability. Pay the few extra £'s and go with a reputable company who care about their customers and aren't out to rip them off

Booked a villa with them in Cyprus in January to go in March. Before we could do that, Cyprus banned the entry of all foreigners. These people refused to refund which was according to their terms, fair enough. But they also refused to change our booking to a later date for a fee! Absolute scammers. They will do everything to keep your money and the fact that they have call center in the UK doesn't make a difference. STAY AWAY from this company!

Absolutely disgusted with Villa Plus Absolutely disgusted with Villa Plus, I booked a villa only, however due to the coronavirus there is no way to get there, Easyjet gave a full no quibble refund, was this the case with Villa Plus, absolutely not, apparently if I can get there the villa is still free so its not there problem !! WHAAT ! So although their website states ABTA and ATOL 100% your money is safe, apparently that means safe with them you wont get it back as the coronavirus means it is a 100% cancellation feel ! Oh and I tried to rebook to lessen the cancellation fee but apparently October is too far away and also constitutes a cancellation ! NEVER BOOK WITH THEM.

Robbers thrives of stealing your hard earned cash no refunds when in a pandemic lockdown with restrictions and they will tell you you need to source alternative travel as villa you booked is available how the hell is that possible when everything everywhere holidays cannot be flights cancelled. Joke villa plus avoid at all costs they will steal frim you.

Shambolic company and response to cv19. Do not be tempted to use their services, that’s if you can actually contact them. Ripping people off by taking deposits as cancellations with no flexibility to rebook or refund and even demanding balances are paid before advising If they can actually fly you there ! Shocking really I just hope they get their just deserts.

Booked a holiday online, at checkout was told the holiday price had increased by £30 After we had processed the payment, so had to speak on the phone. Rang up today to say the cost of the holiday had gone up by £360. There is nothing they can do about it.....absolute thieves! Will not be booking with them again.

Booked Villa and flights and like everyone else waiting on a refund from VP. Not answering their phones and send out generic emails claiming that they are busy with the volume of refunds, and yours will be processed in due course! This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced, I thought the customer had protection from ABTA and ATOL, not to mention the Consumers Act! This now proves these bodies have no teeth and VP is exempt from the Consumers Act, in other words the customer has now little protection. Now considering other options including Credit Card refund.

Shocking. Due to travel in a week but can't get anyone to answer either an email or a telephone call. They were pretty prompt when I booked mind! And on twitter its saying AGAIN that they will only offer vouchers to villa only customers despite being referred to the regulator. Taking them to the ombudsman now - they need to close. DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGEPOLE!

Booked package holiday with VP with easyJet flights from Southend!!! Paid balance and now have no flights. Tried to make contact but it's as if they don't exist. Shocking service. Despicable company. Is ABTA worth anything? They should step in to sort this mess out. I want my money back NOW.

Terrible customer service from Villaplus - due to fly in a package holiday with them this Friday and heard nothing - do we go to the airport don’t we - it’s shocking! Our first time booking with them and understandably the pandemic is unavoidable but the terrible communication and customer service isn’t! We are left with radio silence not knowing what to do on Friday!

In the same boat as many many others. Now due to pay the final balance on our Corfu holiday in September. We were given 2 choices, cancel and lose your deposit or pay up the balance and hope to get your money back if the holiday does not go ahead. No option to change the booking or use the deposit against a future holiday. No response whatsoever to my emails. Absolutely appalling customer service. I have lodged a complaint with the CMA which I suggest everyone else does. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! (assuming they stay in business).

***DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY*** Villa Plus have asked us to pay the balance of our holiday or it will be cancelled. I was informed in an email by Tom from Villa Plus "Full payment is required as at present, no restrictions have been declared for your dates (August) – we do need to pay our villa owners and take payment for this booking despite the events associated with Coronavirus." I emailed and asked if at all possible to transfer the balance for a holiday for the Villa Plus 2021 programme, as I did not want to pay the balance for a holiday in August that might not go ahead and have difficulty claiming back a substantial amount of money. I was then informed by Tom that "Unfortunately, we cannot hold your deposit. The 2021 programme is unavailable as there is a delay with our villa owners due to the pandemic" My reply "Can you explain why I am expected to pay the balance for a holiday in August 2020, when you are unable to offer details for a 2021 programme due to the delays caused by the pandemic? Surely, you can understand my confusion"! I have receive two further emails informing me my holiday will be cancelled if I do not pay the deposit. This was my first and last time booking with Villa Plus, I should have trusted my instincts when reading all the terrible reviews before booking. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. I have another holiday with another company who have allowed me to transfer the deposit to a 2021 programme. This is extremely poor behaviour from Villa Plus, I wonder how many large deposits they have been able to keep. I booked a full package to avoid this sort of situation but Villa Plus have abused the rules and yet lawfully been able to keep the deposits. Reading the reviews has definitely made my mind up. I will not be paying the balance. Please don't bother with a reply, I just wanted 2021 holiday makers to be aware, if Villa Plus are in doubt about a 2021 programme do not book with them!!!!!!

DISGUSTING VILLA PLUS, THIS SHOULD BE CLASSED AS BLATANT THEFT! I Have an email from the 7th of April from villa plus confirming I will receive a full refund or transfer my HARD EARNED PAID IN FULL MONEY to another holiday/date. They have emailed me yesterday 28th may telling me I’m getting NOTHING!!! The country (Cyprus) is still in partial lockdown and are not accepting British tourists so how the hell is my villa still available????? I have used villa plus for several years and usually have a few trips a year which means you have had plenty of my money in the past and I would class myself as a good LOYAL customer, TIME FOR YOU TO STEP UP AND START DOING THE RIGHT THING VILLA PLUS. I will be leaving bad reviews on every possible platform I can find until this is resolved, I will also be contacting trading standards and media outlets to vent my disgust over your treatment of customers, I can see from your reviews I’m not the only person being RIPPED OFF! I want to speak to someone from your company ASAP, Don’t even bother trying to call them as they just cut you off after waiting 20 minutes on hold, POOR VILLA PLUS VERY POOR

We have just been told that we are not getting a refund for our holiday which was all paid for (villa only) 3k, the holiday was meant to take place 21st MAy until today and yest we have been chasing via email, facebook, numerous phone calls and they have changed their policies twice and stated that because Portugal have lifted their lockdown they still expected us to travel. Hoe thick are you people, firstly the UK is still on lockdown and no essential travel is to be undertaken, we have had refunds for both our flights and told that they have been cancelled so how on earth did you expect us to travel to Portugal, secondly if you were expecting a villa to be occupied for 9 days why have you not contacted us to see where we are. This company has scammed several hundred people and have kept their hard earned money, i hope i am not the only one going to the ombudsman and watchdog for how disgusting their service is and the lack of communication from them.

The current situation is obviously unprecidented, and for that reason I think most customers of Villa Plus are prepared to cut them some slack. However, the absolute lack of communication and moving of the goalposts is absolutely astonishing. We were due to begin our holiday TODAY but have received no communication to date, not even a holding email to all customers, let alone notice of cancellation of our (villa only holiday) or details of rebooking or refund options. Meanwhile, another check of the statement on their website now suggests customers are only entitled to a refund if they've booked a full package holiday through them, when earlier this week it stated that we would receive a refund within 10 days of our travel date. The statement is vague in the extreme: "If you have booked a villa only holiday then we will contact you separately." When? By email? Phone? To say what - you'll not be refunding us? It'll take 90 days? Meanwhile, emails go unanswered, no-one can get through on the phone, social media posts are met with a wall of silence. Though they're still targeting me with ads urging me to book a holiday for 2020! People will remember which companies responded to this situation by treating their customers with contempt, though given the way they've pulled up the shutters then I wouldn't be surprised if they fold before we've been contacted, let alone by the time we're ready to book a holiday again. Now, give me my money back.
