“Our villa in Mijas was lovely & spacious as was the pool. However attention to detail is required. Villa Plus state that they do not supply cleaning materials so you have to provide the basics (cleaning clothes, dishwasher tablets, bin bags etc) All that was left was a used dish sponge & old tea towels. Kitchen utensils were grubby. No plug or basin for kitchen sink, kettle was full of limescale. Lots of lightbulbs missing. Reported to local Villa Plus & they gave us a new kettle, replaced some bulbs & a plug for the sink that didn’t fit. No pool towels were provided so we had to buy. Floors were dirty. Beds were clean but only a top sheet provided - an option of a light throw/blanket would have been nice. The hot water was scalding so if you have young children, be aware. The showers in the bedrooms were not attached to the wall, there were fittings but they were loose. It looked as if the villa, esp the kitchen, had not been checked over before we arrived.”

“Returned from our lovely holiday in Villa Despina, Pefkos couldn’t ask for more, very clean, well equipped and maid service was great. Set in the beautiful area of Pefkos, scenery was amazing, was my husband and I first time in Pefkos, my daughter, son-in-law and grandson have visited many times, we were totally spoiled by having our pool, our grandson learned to swim with no armbands., was even swimming under water too, was so lovely to keep going in to cool off. Would definitely recommend to friends, hoping to return in the near future”

“We stayed in a villa in Benalmadena, only for 25 hours before it was obvious we would have to move. One toilet was completed blocked and nearly flooded the floor the first time it was flushed. I believe they were already aware of the problem as they said it was due to tree roots, without even sending anyone out. As it was a Friday, no-one could come out until Monday. The fridge did not work either, so our €120 shop was mostly ruined. Warm drinks and off food, not a great way to start a holiday. Someone came out on the Saturday and tried to tell us it was too full and we were opening the door too often. Ridiculous. And I've never been to a villa that doesn't even provide a bin bag in any of the bathroom bins. The only thing provided is a tea towel. No cloth, pan scrub, washing up liquid, salt, pepper, oil, foil etc etc. Stuff you know other guests have left. I kid you not, absolutely nothing of use. No cleaning products for the bathrooms, hand soap for the sinks, nothing. Not impressed. Will never book with them again.”

“They kept asking for more money in the deposit, which ended with them asking for an additional £700 on the day of our arrival, claiming that if we did not pay within the hour, we would not be able to enter our villa.”

“We recently stayed in a villa in Cyprus, Coral bay and had the best holiday. The villa was beautiful and had everything we needed. I must give a special mention to Paula the villa plus rep at Cyprus. My daughter left her favourite teddy behind and Paula went above and beyond to find it and then post it home. Thank you Villa plus for a wonderful holiday and thank you Paula for all your help .”

“Villa Leonor Olhos De Água Portugal! It was not a good experience! There were dead flies and wasps when we arrived and could not find a dustpan and brush to sweep them up! The kitchen was very poorly equipped for 6 people to stay there! The cooking utensils consisted of one saucepan, two frying pans and an aluminium jug! There were two very large stew pots that didn’t fit the hob properly so couldn’t use them! The fridge freezer turned itself off 4 times, the first time was the day after we arrived and we had stocked the fridge and freezer up! Everything defrosted overnight but no recompense was offered for all the meat and all the rest of the contents lost! Every cupboard had things in that were of no use and there was no where to put food! The toaster was broken and there was only one socket in the kitchen for the kettle, toaster and coffee maker, we had to ask for an extension! The lounge was big but not all lights worked and one of the sofas had pen scribbled on it! The tv was very small and looked like it had been taken out of the master bedroom! The tv only showed the news channel in English but lots of other programs in other languages! Our en suite was small with a clear window in the shower that overlooked next door! The “bath towels” were nothing more than a hand towel, the hand towel were actually bath mats! The hot water was fine until family came to visit and then the owner had to be called to turn on the water heater! The mattresses were hard and very uncomfortable and the pillows were cheap foam! There was a lovely built in BBQ which had a bald brush that was no good, the owner said she would bring another one round (3 days later)! We were there for a month and no one came to cut the grass in all that time! The cleaners always rang the bell and let you know they were on the property, the pool woman came on the property but never let you know and it was only when you saw her you knew she was there! All in all the villa was lovely but sadly the owners need to upgrade it to a far better standard! I would avoid this villa and this company!”

“We are currently staying at Villa Olivo in Port Pollensa Majorca. Villa difficult to find due to poor directions, entry to drive vague and confusing. First day Saturday basin and shower were blocked. I emailed office and representative called round first thing Sunday morning. Maintenance man came on Monday morning and cleared blockage. Disappointing garden and overall feel the villa is not upto the normal standard expected. Will not use Villa Plus again after staying in this villa.”

“Delfin sol villa Disappointed on arrival after staying in several lovely villas with villa plus this villa was poor. The swimming pool was not clean... We could not use the second bathroom or bedroom due to an awful smell Glad it was only two of us as not enough room for 4 people as advertised only 3 dining chairs inside Beautiful views although with no wind breaker and as very high up it was very windy to sit out... Cleanliness on arrival was poor We are leaving it alot cleaner Shelf in fridge broken and coffee table very marked not a good impression on arrival. Feel this villa needs updating”

“I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience with Villa Plus. Despite providing a substantial seven months' notice due to unforeseen health issues, they refused a refund and showed a complete lack of sympathy. Their unresponsiveness, taking over two weeks to reply to a single email, further added to the frustration. Villa Plus appears more focused on taking money than on customer care. I strongly advise others to think twice before booking with them, as their unsympathetic service has left me thoroughly dissatisfied.”

“Just got back from a 2 week Holiday booked through this Company. The Villa wasn't cleaned properly, upstairs the 2 spair rooms had 2 x single beds in each room for children . We couldn't open the wardrobes because there was no room , they had changed the owners beds to get more people in the rooms but they were children's beds not for Adults. Villa Plus would not change the mattresses so we where going to buy them ourselves but we managed to get in touch with the owners, the came around & agreed they changed the sleeping arrangements without him knowing. He went out & bought 2 x property mattress after a heated exchange. He said he wouldn't use them ever again after this season!!! All I can say Villa Plus couldn't care less with the customer, any other business would make sure you were happy with everything but not Villa Plus . Anyone booking with Villa Plus please be careful we spent hard earned money to have 2 weeks in the sun & lovely Villa but they aren't the Company they make out. This is the first & last time we use Villa Plus just be careful .”

“This villa was clean but very tired. I raised a number of issues after the holiday but was advised that I should have raised them with the local rep (who hardly spoke English and I hardly speak Spanish ) I raised a couple of email complaints and received poor responses, I even emailed the MD who couldn’t even bother to respond. Very poor customer service from a company who just don’t care.”

“Stayed recently at Villa Esmeralda near Estapona….whilst very clean inside the bedrooms smelt damp, I don’t know if this villa has had damp problems but flooring in the bedrooms was not fitted well at all and felt like it had been damaged by water. The showers were not consistent, either scorching hot or cold. The seating in the living area is one of the most uncomfortable sofas I have ever sat on. I know you can pay for starter pack but all other villa plus villas we have rented have had the basics left for us on arrival. Outside the dining table cloth on arrival was filthy and the cushions in the seating area need replaced as they are not fit for purpose.”

“we stayed in vilamoura portugal which was a lovely area and the villa was a good size but did need a bit of updating as there was loose tiles on the floor in living area no air con downstairs only in bedrooms so was hot in the evenings no outside garden lights so very dark in the evenings and i know its self catering but thought we would have some tea and coffee on arrival and maybe some water as they say not to drink the tap water ! 2 out of the 3 showers would flood as water didn't drain properly and the jets on our shower didn't work and thought some coles would of been left for the bbq as we left nearly a whole bag but i guess they remove everything ,they left bin bags but weren't big enough for the bin ! and the tv in the living area was quite small and echoed round the villa . They have tried to make it child friendly but not in a great way lets just say if we had paid over £3k for a week in the summer i would of been really P@***ed off !!! and the pool was in the shade the whole time . villa joliet 34 lot 5 stayed oct 7th-14th”
