Customer service are absolutely useless and do not care about their customers. You are NOT protected as a seller if your item is damaged in transit by the InPost courier. Avoid.

Despite reporting scam sellers, vinted still supports them. There are sellers selling items from DHgate at over £100 that are fake and only cost £2 or £3 buy from China. I reported a seller selling cheap Shein items claiming they were genuine 925 with gemstones with hugely inflated prices , Vinted said this was not violating their terms and conditions, so they support these scammers. Be careful what you buy, as Vinted as an organisation does not care

Buyer Beware: Fake Items and Disappointing Experience on Vinted I recently had a frustrating experience with Vinted that I feel compelled to share. After purchasing an item that turned out to be fake, I decided to list it back on Vinted with full transparency, clearly marking it as a replica and explaining in detail why I believed it wasn't genuine. To my surprise, instead of cracking down on the sellers peddling counterfeit goods, Vinted chose to block my account and restrict my access to the platform. It's disheartening to see countless scammers continue to operate freely while honest users like myself face repercussions for trying to maintain integrity within the community. Vinted's response to fraudulent activity is not only inadequate but also unfair, as they punish victims by making them foot the bill for return shipping costs. While Vinted can be a great platform when dealing with honest sellers, it's essential to be cautious. If you're comfortable with the risk of being scammed or exploiting others, then Vinted might be suitable for you. However, if you value honesty and fairness, I recommend steering clear of Vinted altogether. In light of my experience, I strongly advise considering alternatives such as eBay, which provides robust protections for both buyers and sellers, making it a much safer option for purchasing preloved items or anything else second-hand.

Vinted is the most rude & unhelpful selling platform out there. By FAR. I’m on depop, eBay and Vestiare….Vinted started off strong, but two years in.. what an absolutely disgusting business. It’s bizarre, but it’s like they encourage their staff to be rude. I have literal proof that they have threaded to block my account, removed items for no reason and I’ve had really explicit and gross sexual messages which I’ve reported and I’ve been told the other customer has done nothing wrong.. threaten to ban my account for breaching T&C’s because I listed High Waisted Levi’s shorts… in the “high waisted shorts” Category. When I query.. they just close the conversation. Vinted’s customer support just isn’t there - just a load of rude idiots with bunch of automated messages to copy & paste. They don’t reply, they don’t apologise, and if you don’t understand their error, they’ll just close the conversation on you. Vinted is the reason that Vinted is started to decline & why there are so many scammers on there. Wouldn’t like to know how many millions Vinted have made from allowing scammers to overthrow their platform. My uncle is a lawyer and adamant that I could seek legal action against them, but I cba. Bye Vinted - good luck & good riddance!

Been seeling bits and bobs (clearing the wardrobe) for years, and its been great while it was being managed by lithuanians, however, its gone down massively since its been told to someone else (god knows who...). I posted a designer dress my mum got for me and i just didnt like it, had the receipt and everyting, and vinted blocked my account straight away not even asking anything, just blocked it forever???!?!!!!!! What the xxxx ???!!!!!!!! There are MILLIONS of designer items WITHOUT any receiptsxso how are they allowed to stay online!??? Mine was genuine with all the receipts. Absolutely disgusted by their customer service.... Posted another ring today, and a picture of my boyfriends hand wearing it. It got blocked straight away saying the picture is fake??!!!! So i had to send them a photo of my bf posing his hand and showing his finger tattoo to show it the same hand. I shouldnt be doing this!!!! Disgusted.....

Vinted is running some kind of split test. Some users can make lower offers, and others can’t. I’m a regular user and buyers can get over 40% off the items I sell but I can only get up to 20% off as a buyer. I approached vinted customer service, and they told me that it’s a bug and it’s being investigated. I politely asked more questions about when it will be fixed and got a lot of rude responses from customer service before finally getting in touch with someone who apologised and said that they cannot discuss the internal processes, but be assured that this is NOT a bug. I can’t get access to higher discounts but they can’t disclose why. Dishonest and unfair.

They absolutely do not resolve the dispute fairly. I received a torn jacket. Paid $16 for shipping. I had to buy shipping label myself and spend another $16. It's clearly the seller's fault, but I have to pay for it! I sent photos and proof but they did not resolve the dispute in my favor!

Having used this site for 2-3 years ive not fallen out of love for it. My account is currently suspended because they have accused me of selling counterfeit items - I have over 1500 5 star reviews & the item in question is not a replica- I provided the RN serial number, photos of the tags, labels ect & the item has been authenticated by 2 very well know authenticators & yet this still isn't enough - but the site is full of fake / replica items that have dome how been approved. The buyers protection doesn't exist, it's basically their fee, Support is none existent- beware with this site....

I have been blocked for advertising a Tena product that was brand new and not the item that I needed.Although the outer package was opened the items were still in bags.I was told these items were ‘dangerous’!!I have since noticed underwear not wrapped or sealed, bikini bottoms that have been worn and without tags!!I have apologised many times and I have used Vinted for both buying & selling and feel that I have been badly treated.

Customer service is a joke. I think it’s just BOTS. And Buyer Protection doesn’t appear to actually exist - it’s simply Vinted’s commission/fees. Vinted owe my buyer money for a parcel they never received. They’re scammers!

Do not sell on this platform, just don't! You advertise items which you are allowed to sell and Vinted blocks your account. You can never speak to anyone and all they do is send you an automated message. I have logged about 10 tickets and I am no closer to getting an answer. I am forced to take this to all social media platforms.

Item not delivered but a random picture of weeds sent as proof of delivery by the courier and vinted took that to mean its been delivered. What is buyer protection for? Customer service is non existent and no means to make a formal complaint which they must have to operate in the uk. Reporting to trading standards

I joined vinted , put some clothes on the site and was accused by the company of fraud and illegal activity. They simply blocked my account . if fraud was taking place then as the customer is it not their job to warn me and help me rather than block me. i opened a second account so i could contest this and make the purchases i wanted to make . I brought the items and listed my items and then they blocked me gain. i spent a whole afternoon steaming, ironing and photographing. i even got some items dry cleaned . i cant really take in a company can just make accusations, have no concern for the customer and if they really believe fraud is going on then why am i to blame , surely the victim should not be made to be guilty from fraud attacks if there was such an attack. i have never been treated so badly by a company before and made to feel like a criminal. sad as i liked the site and i have never had this with vestierre of the real real whom i have brought from for many years .

Bought a dress and paid for protection. Seller blocked by vinted for fake goods. Seller placed dress on another account. I sent evidence to Vinted and asked for refund. Vinted stated i had not paid for it. Sent receipt and bank statement. Still waiting. Going to Trading Stamdards. They are appalling. Avoid.

I have been using Vinted for over 2 years and it has been working well. Last year they started imposing "protection fee" on every transaction; yet, I do not find it is protecting the buyers at all. I had a parcel which claimed to have been delivered by Yodel, but the courier only left the parcel outside my front door on a Main Street in Marylebone (when I was not home). Someone must have taken it and Yodel also admitted they were at fault. However, Vinted said the system showed parcel was delivered and funds had been released to seller, so there was NOTHING THEY COULD DO ABOUT IT. It is ridiculous as they are now refusing to re-open the case and give me back the money even though Yodel already said it was their problem. It is a complete potluck with Vinted - at the end my bank helped me out with this but buyers, just remind yourself your do not get any support from Vinted at all.
