Absolutely horrible. I got banned for selling “counterfeit” when i wasn’t they are just second hand. So when they asked me to prove that they where I sent the photos and receipts but they still ended up Permanently blocking my account. Horrible will never use again. Wouldn’t even let me get the money I made that was pending.

Oh boy where do I start. I created my account and for a few hours I browsed their catalog favoring things to check out later in the day and finally make a purchase. I suddenly got temporarily restricted. Then, not being able to message any sellers I kept on browsing. Just a few hours later I got permanently banned for no apparent reason since I didn't do anything against their ToS (which I've read). I immediately appealed and even emailed them asking for the reasons, simply stating that I couldn't have possibly acted against their ToS since I was only checking things out and messaging some sellers about the condition of their books (pretty normal to ask for the condition of an item you are about to buy). A few hours later I got a quite stern generic email reply basically saying I shouldn't contact them about the same issue again, and I should wait for the appeal's resolution. Then I received a message inside the vinted website informing me they will stick to the original decision. I was given no reasons, no terms that I violated nothing. I have never gotten banned from a website in my life. I'm always acting according to the rules. And I still have no idea what I did wrong since they never actually let me know. At this point I'm taking my money elsewhere and from what I've read online I'm not the only one. There are so many complains about irresponsible behavior from the "customer support" team and about unreasonable banning but mine takes the cake.I did literally nothing but browse and ask for item details. And all I got was a generic email reply telling me to f off. Not once did I feel like the company cared to even look at the issue. Maybe they've let bots to run the company in order to not hire people.

AVOID Within an hour of downloading the app I'd got 2 spam messages and one scam message that resulted in me having to cancel my credit card. Then I was blocked for counterfeit items even though I posted images of all the proof the item was genuine, including all of the original packaging and codes. I appealed this saying I just want access so I can delete my bank details and my account never to go anywhere near vinted again. I had an automated response that it would be looked at in 5 days. 5 days later I checked the app as I had no notification of any messages. There was a message saying I needed to respond within 24 hours, then another saying because I didn't respond in the time frame it is permanently blocked. The message was asking for photos I'd already put on the listing. My account is blocked, but they are refusing to close it and won't delete my bank details. Because my account is blocked, I can't even message them now. Reading trust pilot reviews, it seems common for them to block accounts for listing genuine items as they have with mine, which is blocked for fraudulent activity. Or when there are issues, both sellers and buyers are losing out, with Vinted seemingly keeping the money. PLEASE don't risk it. For the minimal money to be made, it is not worth it. I now feel like my bank account is going to be unsafe for the next 6 years until they delete my details (if they do).

My account Was bloqued and I banned from VINTED because I published similar articles With diferent colors. VINTED DOES NOT CHANGE IS DECISION.

Bought some items in a bundle from seller. They were not as described and not in ‘very good’ condition. Also one item was missing. Seller agreed to refund but I had to pay taken postage. I also wouldn’t be refunded for initial postage so it would cost me £10 for postage in total. Not worth returning. So basically the seller has got away with scamming me. Vinted were not interested at all. Avoid!

Vinted app doesn’t have protection for buyers. I bought and returned the item which was not fit for purchase. I sent the item back.Seller received his item, Vinted also released my money to the seller instead of sending money back to my bank. I fall-owed all the steps I was required but Vinted made mistake snf now the case is closed. I’m out of pocket and considering taking Vinted to financial ombudsman.

Please be careful when using Vinted. I have just sold a very expensive handbag through their site and put that I would only sell it if it went through their item verification team to protect buyer and me. Sent it off and was told that my item had failed verification, this item is one thousand percent a genuine item. I have dealt in high end bags for many years and abhor fakes, not withstanding I have the original invoice and receipt from where it was purchased. I have been completely blanked by their robots and had one from customer service tell me that they would be keeping my bag and I could appeal the decision within 6 months. This is just theft and there is no appeal button. When things go wrong on Vinted the level of customer service received is so substandard, backward and shoddy my 5 year old grandson could do a far superior job. If they decide your item doesn’t pass there verification please be aware you won’t get your item back and you will be blanked. Don’t do it. I’m £2500 down and will still have to continue to pay the rest off my credit card and not have the bag.

My accounts was blocked and I was accused of trying to sell fake products when they were 100% genuine!!!! I’d sold over 300 items not one complaint or anything sent back all 5* reviews and banned me with no notice ! Absolutely shocking won’t touch them with a barge pole !

Awful awful experience with buying what turned out to be a fake on Vinted. I purchased a Skims tshirt from a seller and the seller blocked me on the platform after the item was delivered. But I wasn't aware of that. The item arrived and didn't look to be damaged or show any signs of use so I marked it as ok on the Vinted platform. That is where the issue arose because I kid you not; 2 minutes after I marked it as ok - I went to try it on and noticed that the actual tag sewn onto the tshirt said "Skins" but the removable tag said "Skims". I reached out to Vinted immediately to complain that the seller had not only blocked me so I couldn't then return and refund my item but that the item was in fact fake. Vinted told me as I marked the item as ok/delivered there was nothing they could do. Insanity. Under the Consumer protection laws, this is not even legal. If I have purchased a fraudulent/fake item then I am automatically entitled to a refund. I reached out to my bank and they're luckily investigating and escalating it from their end. I however have seen deleted the Vinted app and will never use it again. I'll ensure that I also tell anyone who is willing to listen. This is not the first instance I've heard of Vinted being extremely seller centric but this is just awful. Additionally whilst I was on Vinted, I spent a good chunk of time browsing coming across many many obviously counterfeit items. Vinted are simply not doing enough to get sellers who are selling counterfeit items off their site.

today vinted permanently banned my account. their reason was for uploading something that doesn’t fit into their guidelines. i appealed and stated how EVERYTHING was within their guidelines. THEN, they replied back saying i was blocked for trying to sell sexually explicit acts?? i’ve never heard something more appalling, ridiculous and offensive in my life. They made it so i could not reply to this message, so i emailed vinted legal team. all i got was automated messages, so i replied saying i have legal rights to subject access request and need this mess to be fixed. i have £240 in pending balance and i doubt i will get that now. they have ignored my emails ever since overall, vinted does not care about its sellers, and after asking around on other platforms, it seems this occurrence is becoming increasingly more common with vinted blocking hundreds of sellers for no reasons. avoid at all costs

Vintage customer service is rubish refusing to deal with a problem with n item I have received as inpost have lost keys to the item but vintage re refusing to del with it. When all they need to do is get inpost to do n investigation so stay clear if you don't want vinted helping to rip you off. They need to sort out there customer service and give a better service to the customer

I bought a pandora bracelet, when I collected the parcel the bracelet was missing and the envelope had a hole…(inpost lockers) I clicked in there’s an issue and got in contact with the seller (not blaming her but the courier) and few minutes later my account was permanently blocked for fraud. Not only I lost the bracelet/money but also the account and was called scammer!! A couple of previous orders were cancelled and I can not get my money as my account is blocked. Avoid this platform!!

Vinted support is next to non existent. Scammers seemed to be favoured. Buyers protection is pointless (just another name for selling fee, but you're paying it for the seller. A lot of unfair policies which don't match a lot of other platforms i.e eBay and Amazon. Not worth the time and hassle.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE SCAM DETECTING TEAM I sold some perfectly brand new boots to a scam buyer on vinted - she then damaged the boots in order to receive a refund, saying that they had arrived to her damaged and were not as described (the leather was completely split, cut marks all over them, NOT as I sent them off looking like.) I had proof of how they looked and tried to defend myself multiple times and vinted took her side, refunding her the money annd leaving me with no boots to sell!!! even after blatant proof of her scam? I am a genuine and regular vinted user and have 5* rating and have had no problems - but now that I have had to report an issue I have really lost faith in this app.

Terrible selling experience. I sold 3 items to one buyer. She requested to return 1 of the 3 items and they have refunded her the entire amount for all 3 items even though she kept two of them. They are now saying that there is nothing they can do, justifying their total lack of any kind of actual check with the buyer before refunding and showing behind their computers and rubbish policies. Awful service, wiping their hands of any issues and their failure to check before refunding. I will never use them again and am 100% certain if the bother to reply to this it will be to state the same rubbish they tried to use to get out of it when I tried going customer service.

Well I think vinted is fabulous .it's given everyone a chance to make a few bob and buy nice bits at good prices .I love it and have sold lots off items .it's made a difference to my life and given me a bit off extra money .good old vinted
