Bought an item on Vinted and the delivery person left the parcel outside the front door next to a busy main road when nobody was in. When I got home the parcel was not there, it was stolen. After having explained this to Vinted, Vinted took the money for the item I did not receive regardless, not questioning or taking into consideration that the parcel was left outside unattended and clearly not in a safe place, rather than perhaps leaving it at a safe collection point at a nearby affiliated shop as some delivery companies sensibly and responsibly do. Moreover I did not ask for the parcel to be left outside unattended at all, not even in a safe place and so that I did not receive the parcel is of no responsibility and nor fault of mine therefore not sure if Vinted’s apparently wash their hands of it stand complies with the Consumer Rights Act protecting consumers. Clearly from this experience, stolen goods are not covered in the compulsory Vinted Buyer Protection Fee which is on top of the postage fee. My personal opinion from this experience with Vinted customer services, I think Vinted have become so big now that quite simply they don’t particularly care about such customer losses. Won’t be using Vinted again!

I sold a bag, posted it and the customer is too lazy to say she’s recieved it, I’ve checked with the Post office and it has her signature, date and time, this was a month ago! Vinted are refusing to pay me, they keep saying I have to wait! I have messaged the buyer about 6 times, I’ve said I can see you have the bag, please return it if it’s not to your liking or let me know if it hasn’t turned up but, bear in mind I know you have the bag as I have your signature! Rude person!!

Great place to buy and sell. Easy process and Vinted deal with everything all you have to do is list the items and post them.

I advise everyone against Vinted when it comes to buyer protection! They do everything they can to disadvantage you as a buyer. If someone sends a broken product that was not advertised as such in advance. You're just unlucky. Either you return it at your own expense or you keep it, both options will cost you money. Let alone the time and money you spend raising the issue. In the meantime, you pay for buyer protection that Vinted fills his pockets with without protecting you. The time they give you to address it is also scandalous. 99.9% of all messages from Vinted are standard and written by bots, supposedly looking for evidence, but it soon becomes clear from the various situations that this may not be the case at all. Vinted thinks we write unlawful terms for our platform and are then covered. Think again! Illegal conditions are illegal and will not stand up in court!

I just bought a bag off Vinted! It was advertised as a Salvatore Ferragamo bag, The bag arrived feeling like plastic with the words Fermimiamo inscribed on the logo in the exact spot where Ferragamo is placed on the original bag. I complained to the seller who cursed and threatened me. Then I contacted Vinted who after 2 days responded to say they have investigated and the bag is not counterfeit! Just to let you know that Vinted supports the sale of counterfeit items on its platform. Don’t lose your money. Do your due diligence before you pay for any item. The platform is full of made in china dupes! A shame.

Worst customer service ever encountered. I tried to contact them but only got nonsense robot answers. Impossible to get a human to actually read what you write to them. Don’t buy or sell through Vinted. It’s scam.

I was on vinted for three years and had a 5 star rating, until there was one problem with an item not arriving. I did exactly what was said to do on the help center to raise an issue. To get blocked, I contacted vinted to get a mundane answer of "I breached the terms and conditions" which ones I have no idea. The seller contacted them and told them I had done nothing wrong and received a refund. But yet I am still blocked. I have tried contacting them again and again to get the same answer. I also explained that if I did misunderstood anything it was not intentional as I have dyslexia. But they don't seem to understand.

Bought a pair of nice looking Dubarry boots for £100 (bargain as usually retail £370). Picked them up last night and wore them for about ten minutes at the yard and both soles literally disintegrated as I was walking! I couldn't believe it!! I messaged the seller who told me they were 'in perfect condition' so I sent her photos (wherewithal to sit in the car because I couldn't bloody walk in them), and she was having none of it. Because I had clicked OK to having received them I was unaware I had no further recourse. Vinted weren't interested in the slightest. I'm now out of pocket, and no boots. They were good for nothing but the bonfire. I've deleted the app, and chalked it up to experience. She's still selling Dubarry boots tho! I'll stick to Ebay in future. Vinted isn't for me.

Blocked me out of my own account, followed instructions to send proof that it’s me trying to use my own account and log in and they still won’t unblock my account despite my best efforts to send very clear photo’s of proof of identity.

I sold an 18ct gold diamond and ruby ring. Apparently Inpost stole the item, and the buyer received an empty parcel. Vinted refunded the seller their money back and I have lost the ring. Vinted didn’t care at all. I messaged inpost too and no reply from them. Considering inpost have cameras on both ends and didn’t even bother replying is disgusting.

Got scammed as a buyer, provided proof and still was made to pay the return fees for the item. Tried to report the seller so more people don't get scammed, but Vinted does not care at all. What a horrible company.

My watch was stolen during transit, only got an empty box. Seller told vinted the packaging wasn't the same as when they sent it. They tapped up 1 side but both sides were tapped up when I got it. Vinted still released my money to the seller, so I've paid for an empty box! They charge insurance to every item you buy. What's the point of the insurance if it doesn't cover these eventualities. I'm livid!

Bought a Celio brand jumper, received counterfeit item. Reported only to learn they won't trust my proof of ripped, with holes, funny care tags and open seams lining of the jacket. They instead would allow the seller to sell exact item with even higher price.

Don't use!! Let buyer keep an item and get a refund apparently damaged in transit yet item was conveniently damaged on the inside where it won't be seen.

I would seriously consider before you sell on vinted. There IS a massive flaw in their system for sellers. I sold an item on vinted, the buyer claimed the top was damaged in transit, bag stopped open. Not only did they get a full refund but got to keep the item! This happens regularly on vinted and is open to abuse. Never will I sell on vinted again. No customer service support, just automated messages that do not help, or dies not allow you to speak to a person. Shocking company!

Nul klantenservice, schandalig als het er op aankomt. Je betaalt kopersbescherming en verzekering maar ze doen helemaal niets om de koper te helpen. Ik kreeg maar de helft van een artikel aan en dat was ook nog eens beschadigd. Echter mag ik zelf voor de retourkosten opdraaien die niet door vinted worden geleid waardoor ik 20 euro aan verzendkosten zou moeten betalen op een bestelling van 16 euro. Klantenservice komt voor niets tussen en is niet behulpzaam. Schandalig voor zo'n groot bedrijf.

They just use this inspection department to make money from customers, and then say how professional they are, but they are all commercial fraud. Selling my pre owned luxury handbag , the bag from official store , buyer request send to Vinted versify department , unfortunately Vinted send me back and said it can not verify as it’s failed. I asked the reason and do they need anymore information? Vinted still no response no response , finally one month later AI reply : Hello there, Hope you're doing well! 🙏 We are working on a follow-up for your situation, I would like to let you know that your case is still being investigated. We certainly appreciate your patience and cooperation so far. As soon as we have any updates, rest assured, we will be letting you know. I kindly ask you to accept my apologies for this unpleasant situation. I absolutely understand how disappointed you might be in this case, but I sincerely hope for your patience and understanding further. This is a joke , so funny about the investigate process, the bag on my hand , only yhey said failed , and now investigation with air? Please how? No customer service at all

Ordered and paid for an item that was delivered to the wrong address via yodel. Claim submitted but as yodel have told vinted it was delivered ( not stating where) both parties are refusing a refund! Absolute appalling customer service from Vinted who point blank refuse a refund! 'Buyer Protection' means absolutely nothing. If anyone knows how to take the matter further it would be greatly appreciated.
