I wouldnt recommend! I bought a dress and was charged instantly, shortly after the seller told me she’d sold it to someone else. After that message she ghosted me. It took support 3 days to reply , they told me I had to cancel the order & they couldnt assure me that this would not result in myself receiving bad feedback. They said that was the only option, I did it and got a warning that if I ever cancelled again I would get negative feedback, and it meant I couldnt leave any feedback for her, its strongly biased to the seller, and I will stick to ebay in the future

Complete disregard for sellers Obvious scammer claiming goods to be damaged but unwilling to provide proof Vinted came down on buyers side with no evidence , cancelled purchase , refunded buyer , fraudsters Will not use Vinted again , time will tell

Terrible to non existent customer service Just been scammed by a buyer claiming item was damaged on arrival but not prepared to prove it by displaying the item as a whole with damage Very abusive buyer and Vinted have come down on her side and cancelled order and refunded the buyer without evidence of damage Avoid avoid at all cost

De verkopersbescherming biedt geen enkele bescherming omdat hier een termijn aan vastzit van twee dagen. Voordat wij het product afgehaald hadden van het bezorgpunt bleek deze periode al verstreken. We krijgen boeken i.p.v. schoenen. Advies: Koop niks via Vinted! De koper heeft 10 reviews: - 1 koper (?) met 5 sterren, - 5 kopers met 1 ster en - 4 automatische reviews van 5 sterren van Vinted zelf. Het gemiddelde wordt dus opgeschroefd door Vinted zelf. De laatste review is zelfs van na de 5 klachten... beoordeel dus zelf wat je daarvan vindt.

Terrible experience. Item has not arrived and they keep fobbing you off with wait 24 hrs, wait 48 hrs, wait 5 days and now its wait 15 day. No human to speak to. They rip you off with false claims of insurance that is useless.

No customer service. No buyer protection. Purchased faulty shoes and the seller denied any fault despite me providing clear photos as evidence. Returned shoes and she would not refund. “Customer service” is a chat bot. They send 2 copy paste replies, then stop replying. The “buyer protection” fee is just for Vinted profit. There is no protection at all!!

They are absolutely horrible. Placed the order received with missing items To show to seller what was missing from the order I have chosen the missing items. I agreed with seller that i would be returning the ones i received as well so they were no sale would be between us. Seller sent me label i packed all and returned. The payment was partially from bank partial from vinted balance. Then they returned the amount for the missing items and complete the sale then i raised straight away that I supposed to get the rest of the balance to my bank. They investigated for about 2 months, then turned around saying ah you hit the everything ok button, which i didnt! They auto completed the order somehow and blaming me that I supposed to chose all order, which also is not available in their stupid software! So i ended up paying for the items I already returned. I always had a problem with them, as a buyer, seller and delivery issues. This scammers doing the business in Lithuania all the workers from there, I dont think they even understand English, because all responses are similar. Make no sense. Even if I need to take it to court I will do it, this is not about 30quid for me anymore! DO NOT BUY OR SELL ANYTHING FROM THEM.

Wouldn’t help with a £550 order Sent next day signed delivery and they wouldn’t update it was delivered Vinted were no help in this situation Avoid selling as no protection for sellers at all

I recently had a disappointing experience with Vinted. Despite the carrier’s confirmation that my parcel was delivered, I never received it. I was at home on the delivery date and thoroughly checked my property and spoke with my neighbours, but there was no parcel. Vinted’s support team was unhelpful, stating they are not responsible for shipping issues. This was my second order, and given this experience, I do not plan to use Vinted again. As a customer, I expect better service and accountability. My issue remains unresolved, leaving me quite dissatisfied with Vinted’s service.

I bought some earrings and there were issues with them, one of the issues I had is that once you remove the plastic behind ( when they are new) the back piece was too loose to keep the earring in the ear. Anyway vinted said it was investigated that the seller provided further evidence ( the same photos as the one on the original post) and that they needed to investigate further. When. asked how they proved that the earrings were perfectly fine through photos- when really video clips would be more ideally but vinted does not allow, no response. Nearly two months later, after a few messages in which they hoped I'd forget the issue, it was still investigated. I escalated with my bank via a dispute and that is when received a message from vinted saying that it was too late for a refund because I either did not open the case on time or did not send it to the seller. I sent the PrintScreen explaining, how is possible if the order is under " suspended" and there is no communication that this issue has been resolved. No replies. The day after they offered me to return, my bank told me not to return as we were going into stage 2. Vinted sent the label for return and decline to comment,hoping this would be the end of the issue but as advised by my bank I would not use the label issued on the same day because the investigation was opened. At the same time the support ignore my questions 5 times on how to escalate the matter with the complaints team by ending messages " I'm sorry you are unhappy with our solution, you have 5 days to post the item back" after the 6th time and they attempting to close the case, no response directly to my question. I am now fighting the case with a resolver and will keep escalating. The answer they provided was: can I have your username and the seller's username, rather than acknowledge their customer service issues, The worst I have ever dealt with. unbelievable.

Door een fout van Homer / Homer postpunt (2 labels over elkaar gekleefd) heb ik een pakketje van iemand anders ontvangen. Ik meld dit netjes bij Homer. Homer vraagt om foto's, netjes verstuur ik de foto's. Steeds opnieuw willen ze meer foto's. Alsook foto's van het onderste label. Zo goed als mogelijk heb ik het bovenste label met mijn gegevens verwijderd. (Erg moeilijk ing papieren plak labels) Opnieuw vroeg vinted om nog meer Foto's van de verpakking, labels,.. Ik heb daarna een poging gedaan om het onderste label beter leesbaar te maken met water helaas bleef het onmogelijk om de barcode leesbaar te krijgen. Ik heb opnieuw de foto's doorgemaild. Ook hierna vroeg Vinted opnieuw om beter leesbare foto's van het onderste papieren label. Ik heb vibted laten weten dat het niet mogelijk was om de barcode te lezen / beter foto's te maken ing de papieren plaklabels die super moeilijk van elkaar te verwijderen zijn. Hierop liet Vinted zijn beslissing weten: het was mijn fout want ik kon niet tijdig de nodige informatie / foto's van het onderste label van de effectieve koper van het pakketje bezorgen. Alsof ik magisch papieren plaklabels kan scheiden / leesbaar kan maken?! En dat alles voor een pakketje van een 10 euro!! Als jullie geen kopers bescherming willen geven, vraag(eis) daar dan geen betaling voor.

AVOID Vinted – NO PROTECTION & TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE Having previously purchased vintage items from Ebay, I thought that I would give Vinted a try. What a HUGE MISTAKE I made. Purchased 2 shirts from one seller and also paid for Vinted's obligatory “Buyer Protection” The shirts were delivered – but not to my address !!! Checked out the "proof of delivery” online, only to find that my items had been delivered to someone with a WHITE doorway, that was not mine, whilst my doorway is BROWN. Contacted the seller, who did not want to know and became quite aggressive, basically leaving me to try and sort it out for myself. So I contacted Vinted “customer service” who then required me to message them with a long long list of particulars that must already have been easy to find on their system. Additionally, I provided the so called “proof of delivery” photo to the WHITE doorway that was not mine, together with photos of my house and BROWN doorway. The photos could not have been clearer – items delivered to a WHITE door – not my door – my door BROWN. Following my submission of this information, I received a string of messages from Vinted asking me to provide further proof that I did not receive the items. The next thing Vinted “customer service” do is to email me a form that needs PRINTING off and sending back to them, but I have NO WORKING PRINTER. Vinted “helpfully” inform me of the following:- “Please note that members who don't have printers at home usually print the label at their university or office. Otherwise, they visit their local library to print. You can always check out your local office supply store. They often offer printing services too.” However, I am over 70 and in poor physical health – one reason I buy online and have items delivered to me. The latest “customer service” suggestion is that I now do not need to do any of the above things at all – so why ask me in the first place? Instead, now Vinted want me to take an email attachment and run it through not one, but two separate items of third party software, that they have provided links to, so that I can then be in a position to send this form back to them. Regarding the additional software, Vinted expect me to work with, I have never heard of these companies before and would not dream of risking a virus infecting my computer. In conclusion - Vinted's “customer service” primary role is to frustrate you from making any sort of legitimate claim on their “Buyer Protection” that you have purchased from them. Check out other reviews about Vinted – It is all too clear. Life is far too short to deal with these sorts of companies, so as regards Vinted – AVOID AVOID AVOID – You have been warned.

I am only giving one star as zero isn't an option. Avoid at all costs buyer protection is a joke. I'm trying to resolve an item I purchased that has never arrived but as vinted have conveniently blocked my account it's almost impossible. My advice is stay away and never use I wish I had.

I HATE VINTED. As a seller who got 55 x 100% 5 star reviews after selling for 2 weeks I got scammed by a loop hole in their system. The buyer took a photo of the mailing bag and a photo of some random Tshirt in her possesion. I sold a pair of high end sneakers. Then I tried to defend that I send the shoes and they refunded her leaving me without the shoes or the money. I HAVE BEEN ROBBED ON VINTED. Just wait until more people use this loophole to scam sellers they WILL LOSE THEIR SELLERS!!!!

Another scam website that doesn’t protect the sellers! I sent an item to the customer, carefully packaged in a padded envelope with extra tape to secure it shut. The recipient claimed that the envelope arrived open and the contents were missing, Vinted blamed me for this issue and refunded the customer. The courier label is purchased by the customer, this label will be covered by insurance. Why aren’t Vinted claiming against the courier to cover the costs? This is assuming that the customer is not a scammer who falsely claimed that the envelope was empty to get a refund.

THIS SITE IS A COMPLETE CON AND CUSTOMER SERVICE RUBBISH AS WELL, THERE IS NO INSTANT FACILITIES LIKE LIVE CHAT SERVICE OR CALLING THROUGH TELEPHONE, THERE IS NO PHONE NUMBER. I HAD A VINTED ACCOUNT LONG AGO, I CANT EVEN REMEMBER WHEN I CREATED ACCOUNT WITH VINTED, LAST NIGHT I TRIED JOIN VINTED AS I FORGOT WHETHER I HAVE ACCOUNT WITH VINTED OR NOT BUT I DISCOVERED I ALREADY HAVE VINTED ACCOUNT. THEN I LOGGED IN VINTED WITH MY ACCOUNT. MY WIFE WAS SITTING NEXT TO ME WHILE I WAS LOGGING IN VINTED ACCOUNT. SHE GOT CURIOUS AND SHE ALSO OPENED AN VINTED ACCOUNT ON HER NAME IN HER PHONE. I WAS LOOKING SOME WAISTCOATS IN VINTED, SHE FOUND SOME NICE WAISTCOATS IN HER PHONE AND ORDERED FOR ME. NEXT DAY VINTED RESTRICTED OUR ACCOUNTS SAYING MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS ARE NOT ALLOWED. WHAT A JOKE🤣😂😂😂😂. WE ALREADY PAID FOR ITEMS WE PURCHASED, NOW THEY BLOCKED OUR ACCOUNTS, WHAT DOES IT INDICATE? ITS A COMPLETE SCAM, SO BEWARE BUYERS BEFORE PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM VINTED. I TRIED TO FIND CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER BUT THEY DONT HAVE ANY PHONE NUMBER BECAUSE THEY DONT WANT PEOPLE CAN FIND THEM. I KNOW HOW TO RECOVER MY MONEY FROM THEM, SO I AM NOT WORRIED FOR MY MONEY. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYBODY FOR VINTED

I was sold a pair of fake Oliver Peoples sunglasses via Vinted. The Customer Service is horrendous and totally based on chat messages. After receipt I sent pictures to Vinted at their request that clearly identified the product as fake. They came back and told me to return the item to the seller, which I did. I packed the item at the shipper's store ton have a witness of the contents and condition of the package. Tracking information confirms that the seller picked up the package at the destination. Then the seller claimed that the package was received damaged and empty. Now Vinted says it's incumbent on me to prove that this isn't true. All of this via text messages....Never Again!

An absolute disgrace of a company!! Should be avoided at all costs. Their so called ‘customer service’ is a AI chat bot who makes errors and when you contact an account email they are no better and just close the ticket!!! I sold a brand new pair of Yves Saint Laurent Sandals on Vinted worth £720 for £350. Biggest regret of my life! The buyer said that she didn’t realise they were the black and silver so asked to return and told Vinted they were ‘not as described’. I disagree as both the description and the pictures were evidently thorough, however, this is least of my concerns. Vinted so called ‘support’ then emailed me to say the buyer disputed the purchase as ‘not as described’. They said the two options are: 1. Reach out to them if you disagree with the buyer and respond via the contact us option (which I did) 2. Release refund and item return I selected option 1 and reached out to Vinted to explain my side of the dispute and attach evidence. Then, I got a notification from them to say as I failed to respond they have released a refund to the buyer and also told the buyer they could keep the shoes!! In what world would a buyer get to keep the £350 for a designed pair of shoes and the shoes themselves??? I then contacted the unhelpful ‘support team’ about their mistake and they said it was final decision. Failing to get anywhere with them I searched high and low for a contact number where you could speak to someone and guess what… nothing. I found the above mentioned Legal email and sent the full detail to them to which their response was they are following process and cannot support. I asked for a complaints procedure and they directed me to their app with nothing on it. I asked them to investigate and answer my question and they didn’t respond. Absolute joke of a business and how they can treat customers like this is concerning. I am now at a loss as a seller without either the shoes or the money for them, which equates to more than I have made on Vinted in all my time selling on there!

What a shower of utter shite You don’t actually realise how bad this company is until something goes wrong. I ordered an item that failed to turn up (not the sellers fault). When I asked Vinted to look into this they said as far as they were concerned it was delivered although I showed them that the picture supplied was clearly not my address (photos provided). Vinted didn’t want to know. When asked if I could make a claim on the insurance premium I paid I heard absolutely nothing.
